In answer to your question...I think its a good review... : ) and here's why:

Billboard's rating of BTIKM: 83 ( I would have preferred 100 of course, but in comparison to the others on this list...its the highest score..I think BB is tough in their ratings..)

And I think these words from the review are very complimentary to Adam, and show an understanding of what Adam Lambert is truly "about": he is an intuitive and nuanced vocalist, who allows his inner being and emotions to be reflected in his voice and in his chosen music and lyrics...He touches my heart and soul..The ultimate compliment to any singer, I think....:

"While "Better Than I Know Myself" is not as immediately overpowering, repeated listenings amplify the untamed vulnerability that has become Lambert's defining asset. Producers Dr. Luke, Cirkut and Ammo provide a ground-swelling chorus, but Lambert shines in the intimate verses, singing, "I can be obnoxious at times/But try and see my heart" before the final climax. Like any talented pop artist, Lambert understands subtle reflection as well as epic bombast."

At least this review isn't horrible. I am concerned about the comment that it sounds like other people's stuff. I thought so, too. My final take on this review is that yeah, you can hear Adam in there, the lyrics are good, but WWFM it ain't.

This is a great review of Adam's new single, BTIKM. And it comes from Billboard, the authority of music charts like, forever. Can you just imagine what the whole TRESPASSING album will sound like! Just a couple more months of anticipation.

So, so looking forward to March 20th.

Here in New Zealand this song is gonna chart pretty soon & what I wanna know is, where's the accompanying video?
It seems to me that everyone else puts out a vid & then their music sales take off from there. Not too sure how it works.

I would love to see Adam perform his new single on the Grammys next month. That would be the highlight of the show for me. If he doesn't perform, I would be satisfied to see him as a presenter or just sitting in the audience. Any chance to see Adam at the latest awards show is always a good day. Can't wait for the video for this first single and then, of course, the tv entertainment and talk shows as he promotes BTIKM.

Adam said recently that he will be filming the Music Video for BTIKM very soon "Early January..", so any day now..It takes a few weeks to edit and perfect MV's so no doubt we'll see it by the end of this month, when THIS (paragraph below) starts to happen: Full on ADAM STORM..and no doubt will also begin promotion of Trespassing as well. TV, radio, magazine interviews and appearances...etc.. We are currently in the "lull before the storm". Deep breath.....

RCA will begin officially promoting (in their words "Impacting") BTIKM in the US on Radio, etc., on January 31st..

If start the promotion on January 31, will be a great gift because it's my birthday.

loved that review, but reviews don't matter much to me because I have already fallen in love with the song. Don't forget to give it some views on Youtube,words out a million views by Adam's birthday.

Anon 12.18, As has already been said Adam will be working on the video early January. I know it seems everything happens so much quicker with other Artists, but we probably dont get involved in the process like we do with Adam.
Soon we will see it probably on Juice TV or the new MTV channel (both on Sky)
I dont know about you but I have heard it a few times on the radio here, but certainly not as often as some others.
I think once the video is out and the promos start it will take off.

My comment was to Anon 12.18. I know it seems other artists stuff seems to come really quickly but we probably dont get involved in the build up like we have with Adam.

I think this review quite good. They seem to "get" Adam and his particular vocal strengths. The song is doing well with no official promo yet. BOY, would I love to see Adam do the NA at the SuperBowl, and do SOMETHING on the Grammys! Perform, present, ANYTHING? Do the Grammy people know what they're doing? Adam should be on the show, no question!

I think the review is a pretty fair assessment of the song. I don't like it near as much as WWFM, but I'm sure it will get played and will have a decent showing on Billboard. I just hope the video isn't too sexy, for his sake.He can't scare potential fans off.

I actually loved BTIKM right off! I had to get into WWFM. It was Adam's video that sold it to me! That video was soooooooooo awesome because it was pure ADAM! To tell you the truth, I loved the altered WWFM that Adam performed on Idol the best!(with all the smoke and lazers!)
Can't imagine what Adam will do with the BTIKM video. One thing for sure, it will be epic!!!!!!I'm hoping for something that shows Adam broken-hearted, with all the passion that only he can exude. Maybe at the end Adam will show an optimistic conclusion to the pain true love can bring. This will certainly ring true with all he and Sauli have endured!(sigh)

It took me a few listens before I became obsessed with BTIKM. My mind was expecting something different but once I listened to the words and the emotion in his voice, I was definitely hooked. I don't understand the comparison to WWFM at all. Also, I live in the DFW area and have been requesting BTIKM at a local station with no results. I have tried to listen to that station to see if they play it, but I can only stomach about three of the SAME songs, spun over and over again, and I give up. I have to turn off the radio and enjoy Adam singing on a CD. I just cannot understand why Adam isn't outselling GaGa, Bieber, Perry, Mars and the same old same olds. Here's hoping that 2012 will indeed be Adam Lambert's year to outshine the rest.

I much prefer BTIKM to WWFM. Listening to Adam's voice singing BTIKM feels like a shockwave going through me (in the nicest possible way), and I love its poignancy - so, so beautiful.

This review is fine. It's great that some journos get it. Never been crazy about WWFM but I ADORE BTIKM.

I finally got round to putting BTIKM onto a disc for the car today, ot sounds soooo good cranked up loud. I liked the song on first listen, but now I really love it.

I also was never crazy about WWFM.
Not till the video showed that sweet tousled look. It was so repetitious! But he sang it just right, I already like BTIKM, some decent, meaningful lyrics.
