Although I think Eminem is a bit of an a-hole, I gotta admit (guiltily) that I really, really like his "Love the way you lie" video. It's very intense & passionate & dysfunctional but for some reason I just love it!

@8:43 -I read that it sold 44,000. Not exactly comparable because FYE the single was released at the same time as the cd, I believe. There were 198,000 of those sold. I can't remeber how the single/cd sales relationship worked on AO last time around.

More interesting: WWFM sold only 11,000 it's first week and about the same the second week and it became a huge hit.

Charting is all about radio play and reaching casual fans. Adam seems to be getting that.

@4:26AM Thanks for all the information! I don't remember as much. I believe FYE single was released on the radio one month before release of the album.

Still I believe BTIKM did really good on its first week without any official radio release or any T.V. performances. I'm sure with his upcoming performances of BTIKM on Ellen and Leno, he will sell more.

One thing I noticed at MJs Blog, Kelly Clarkson is practically everywhere every single day promoting her album. Adam should be performing and promoting. Come on management give him more exposure.

I expect to see some real tears and temper. Of course, the sweet smile at the end would be nice. I wonder if a male love will be shown in the video - or maybe just from the back. It would be nice if it had that "real" tone, but I'm guessing not, but who knows. I will love the video as long as I'm looking at Adam and of course he is pure genius! Oh yes, and that beautiful song BTIKM!

As progressive as parts of this country is, there is no way they will have a male love lead. AND there is no way in he-l that a female lead would be believable so a video where Adam is singing to a couple or couples would do. There are only so many times they can do the whole lets not show the love like in WWFM, as brilliant as it was. I have always envisioned a video where adam is singing in a bar (maybe retro and go back to a classy 1940s bar) and we flash to all the stories of the patrons he is singing to. I thought that would be a graet video concept for SOAKED if that had ever been released.

are you kidding me ? a female love lead in a mv with adam would be the best fantasy he could ever do. he wants this to rock its way and stay at the top thats exactly what he'll do someday. just like his detail photo shoot, its all in the mind of the viewer. hot hot hot
