Adam. He's got the vital "it" factor that makes him a star amongst stars. Hungering for his second album. LIke others at the Clive Davis party, his face reflects the sadness felt by so many others about Whitney Houston's untimely death this same day.

Adam's looking very dapper and is even wearing his favorite 'medges'! Saw one tweet that Adam was sitting at the same table as Britney Spears. I'm sure it's a very somber evening ...

was this event held at the hotel that WH died in? Very sad day indeed.

Adam looks somber and sad.

He looked beautiful. I hope he sat at Britney Spears table, she is such a bubbly person.

What a beautiful and classy guy Adam Lambert is.

Adam so appropriately dressed and groomed, respectful of the untimely death of Whitney Houston. Even his hair was basically black and conservative. Always proud of his upbringing and class. I was glad to see that Adam was included in Clive Davis' guest list, a great opportunity to touch base with music elite and promote his album. A sad occasion and hard to be festive at a party when there is such sudden sadness. This has to be a very difficult night for Clive Davis when he was so instrumental in her career. RIP Whitney...

Adam looks so composed and elegant. Why can't he be nominated for Best New Artist, even if he didn't submit his new album yet. Can't they at least nominate him for what he has achieved so far based on his last album and performances; so much outstanding work, in such a short time. A nomination would be fair even if they don't deem him deserving of a Grammy.

it would have been great to see sauli there too, but he's in NY fashion week :( and the whole grammy gala turned upside down because of whitney's death, RIP :( i hope everyone will still enjoy the night and the right people win, even though adam isn't nominated :D

Adam so appropriately attired for the occasion and such a sombre occasion following the death of the legend Whitney was. She was only 48 and her daughter Bobbi will only be 10 this year. So very sad to lose a mother, and especially at that age. RIP Whitney, the greatest female voice of all (imho).

OT. . . I think the delay in Adam's CD is that he is working on something with Bruno Mars for the CD . . he talked about it in one of the interviews . .

Adam looks gorgeous as always...cannot wait for pictures from Fashion Week..hope to see Sauli also...

Classy, handsome, articulate...and also somewhat somber because of the death of Whitney Houston. It is a very sad day for all in the music industry and all her fans. I have read Adam won't be at the Grammys because he is flying to NYC to promote his new album, but it would have been something special to have seen him there or even to have him perform. Hopefully next year he will be there as a nominee and recipient for TRESPASSING. Adam does have the "IT" factor and stands out in a crowd no matter where he is. And by the way, Whitney's daughter is 19 years old and not 10 as someone previously stated. A daughter loses her mother, and a mother loses a daughter(Cissy Houston). It is a sad day for all those in music or those of us who just love music and it does heal those who are sad, depressed or just looking for some comfort in life.

I am sure that Adam is tired of answering all those questions about him and Queen. He has said there is something in the works with the band, but he cannot talk about it. He will not replace Freddie Mercury, he will not go on tour with Queen because he has his own album to promote(as it should be), but there will be some collab between him and the band. Whatever, whenever, wherever...I am sure it will be spectacular and was his performance at the EMAs recently. Even though he is asked the same questions over and over in all the different interviews he has done, Adam is always articulate, personable, and so charming.

Pure class. Pure beauty. Adam spent a valuable evening with important people in the business. Sad about Whitney. She made unfortunate choices in her life.

I don't think Adam is tired of being asked about Queen. It's his job to keep that subject in the public interest. It's his job to tease about it and talk about it, even though he can't give details. The more he's asked about it, the more he can keep the curiousity and excitement level high.

It's nice that Adam sat at the same table with Britney Spears. I like Britney and Kelly Rowland.

He may not be going on tour with Queen but it appears that he will be performing with them on several occcasions--notably the opening of the summer Olympics in London.

MINNIE MOUSE here...

Since we are wondering where our Wonder Boy will appear with Queen, I like JAK's idea, on Aussie interview thread, that it might be at Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee this summer. Maybe our diamond solitaire might be sparkling there! Wooooo, On With the Show!

JUST to be invited as a guest at Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party is a feat in itself. EVERYONE in the music biz wanted to be on that guest list. Major players there, as Adam now is!!

Please, Adam, ALWAYS stay humble and gracious. Those are 2 of your best traits.

As I see it, there are very few individuals in the music business who are as articulate, gracious and humble as Adam Lambert. Most of the other performers can't put two sentences together intelligently, can't be bothered or put on this diva attitude about wanting to be left alone. Well, the price of fame and success is often meeting with the public and the fans(who are at times intrusive, I agree) and of course, the ever present papparazzi. But Adam seems to handle it well overall, and I love to see his interviews because he is so honest and charming. Adam was seen by many at this pre Grammy gala and I guess the word is out about the new album and hopefully he will get the support from them as he has often given to others when their new single, video or album is released. He looks so handsome in these pics as usual. Can't wait to see/hear the interviews he is doing in NYC my radio listening area. I wonder if he will make any appearances on one or two of the NYC tv shows. That would be great, but I haven't read anything about that.

Fame and celebrity is so natural to him. He was born to do this. His instincts are spot on. Love how he is so readily accepted into the elite on both coasts.

Love Adam's response. So gracious, so beautiful. What a great personality.

I loved the question asked of Adam, "How many Grammys have you attended". People assume, because of his talent, and persona, that Adam has always been famous! Adam answers as sweet and candid as always. Our Adam was born a star and always was from everything I've ever seen or heard about him (which is a lot!) So proud of Adam!!!!!!!

Still am missing his GUYLINER. I can pass on the glitter but loved his intiguing black or navy guyliner. I am hoping he will be as famous as Elvis one day in the future. Love him, love him !

^ Adam IS wearing guyliner; just very subtle.

Adam always looks like a superstar, even with the toned down, somber look that was perfect for the occasion and vibe of the evening.

He does look really good. But (and I KNOW I will get thrashed for this!) I am kind of over the wild-weed hair. It doesn't really go with the more debonair look he is sporting these days. To me it looks like he needs a lawnmower, not a hair cut. Now, excuse me while I go bleed to death from all the vicious cuts I am about to get!
