Is anybody watching the live streaming pre-grammy events? They are supposed to be showing the red-carpet for the Clive Davis party in a few hours but they are not sure if the party is going to happen now. Adam is supposed to be going to that party.

Fox was reporting that there are crime scene ribbons at her hotel.

It's really sad to loose such a powerful voice indeed.:( She was my generation and loved her music.....

R.I.P. and for sure a lot of fans will watch the Grammy to honour her death....

The music lives forever indeed....

It is protocol to put up yellow crime scene ribbon when someone dies outside of a hospital without a doctor present.

I too am so upset over Whitney's death!!! Just heard on the radio coming home from work! It's M.J elvis, whitney, mercury, all the greats taken so young. this is a horrible thought but if I ever heard adam was gone I would simply die!!! I worry about him with all the crazy nuts out there??

So dreadfully sad about the passing of Whitney, and it is also sad that her voice deteriorated in recent years. I went to two of her concerts in 2010, she hardly sang much at all and when she did sing, her voice was extremely croaky. She was such a legend in her prime, she was so beautiful and I will always love her.

I hope this doesn't sound callous but all the greats you mentioned, their early deaths were probably hastened by their own behaviour, that's another reason to be sad. It didn't have to happen. I cried buckets of tears when Elvis died because I had seen him in performances so many times and watched him deteriorate over his last years. It's all so sad. And now a lovely incomparable woman is gone, ironically Michael Jackson has a beautiful song called Gone Too Soon. I put it on my favorites playlist when he died and play it often.
