So many good songs to choreograph dances to on the FYE album. I ran into quite a few people that DTRH was their favorite. A loaded Smile would be beautiful in a play or movie about the end of a relationship. That was a good production , dancing and costumes outstanding.

New South Wales - way to go!!!!!

Yea, good but I didn't feel exhilarated, which I did when Adam performed it on GNT. Maybe because it was all over the place; a couple of highlights or focuses might catch my attention a bit more, like the last couple of minutes of it were more enhancing. I think the third judge's critique is exactly how I felt. Just my opinion. :)

YTT or Young Talent Time being the full name of the show, is a talent quest for YOUNG people, not necessarily singers, and not for mature, experienced artists like Adam.

Young Talent Time has produced some ace performers in its history. The program came to a close many years ago and this is the 1st season of the new production.

The fact is, not only are these great kids peforming..... but Oz is promoting and loving ADAM yet again!Go for it Sydney....(remember the days of the Enmore!!!!!!! OMG Raptures upon Adam raptures)!!!!

Yes, this show is for youngsters.
I love they used "DTRH' for their great routine. Adam fans in Australia are die-hard fans who should be bloody proud because they would head to the universe and back with love and supporting Adam Lambert.

If this is a talent-time competition for young, talented people, okay, I'd scale down a bit; it's very very good!! :)

wow, Adam Lambert's song really came alive here...

Great production and fantastic that these dancers danced to Adam's "Down The Rabbit Hole". It was certainly high energy and a lot of fun. The first male judge to speak is Chucky Klapow who has danced with Michael Jackson and Mick Jagger.

Agree with 1:48 AM. I'm chuffed that these kids have performed to one of Adam's songs. YTT is a very popular show in OZ thus promoting Adam all across the nation. And....I was there at the Enmore ....absolutely brilliant !!!!!

I LOVE it when dancers, skaters et al perform to Adam's songs.

I hope people ask about the song and want to know who sings it.

Is "chuffed" a good thing?

@JB
yes chuffed is a good term:) it means pleased, or happy about something, I thought it was an English term, but maybe not just there.

I posted this link earlier today, thought it was great, a really great interpretation of the song, and fantastic costumes. I always think of Alice in Wonderland when I hear it too.

talking of hearing things, I had the radio on in the car earlier today (something I hardly ever do), and about the 5th song I heard was FYE, I was so excited, I think that is the first time I've actually heard an Adam song on the radio!!!

I'm not the poster who said "chuffed" but, yes, it is a good thing!

I think the 3rd judge gave very valuable feedback. It had too much going on over a wide area for the camera to capture and, in a competition, the camera direction is necessarily challenged, too, because they haven't had much time to stratgegize the shoot. A pity if they missed their chance because they didn't realize this.

I've only heard "WWFM" in my car.I sure hope I get to hear "NCOE".

Wow what a production! Fabulous background, great energy and costumes. Queen of hearts was perfect. Yes a lot going on and hard to focus on, but that IS this particular song... it captured the mad-craziness. The middle lady judge's reaction was priceless, she did look like a stunned rabit!!

LOVE to see Adam's songs used this way... get then out there in the world and noticed!!

OT... Admin, loving the comment box at the BOTTOM again where it's more convenient when we're done reading last post. Hated it all the way back UP on the side...
Thank you!

Loved the dance and great comments! The only think I wish is that Adam would have been mentioned as the original singer of the song. Oh, well.

Loved the choreography, loved the use of Adams song, it's a beautiful thing to see it all come together around the world. On a side note, get so sick of reading picky critics from Adamtopia fans, remember if you have nothing nice to say...

@2.22 Ahhh, the Enmore! A night never to be forgotten!

@4.30
Yes, chuffed is an great Aussie word full of positivity. I'm so chuffed to be a fan of Adam Lambert.

love adam lambert for life-the best singer in the world right now after mj and elvis presley.adma lambert is one of a kind singer.

The word "chuffed" is a word used mostly by Brits, and some Australians use it as well.

I'll be well chuffed when I hear NCOE on the radio!!

The female judge is Tina Arena who kickstarted her singing career as a youngster on Young Talent Time. She is a successful singer/songwriter and lives most of the time in France where she's famous for her music. She also divides her time between the UK and Australia.

Anon 8.13. I was at the Enmore to. We had got our tickets and booked our flights before they announced the NZ concert. My daughter came with me and we met quite a few fans at the Meridian where we stayed, it was great. Also while waiting to get in met a fan who lived just round the corner from me at home, that I didnt know. Crazy things happen to Adam fans. People have made lots of new friends through Adam.
Cant wait for NCOE to hit NZ Itunes.I dont know if I should order the deluxe version or wait till it comes out here. FYE deluxe did come here a lttle after the original, but how do I know if this will happen this time.

Well I have to say I loved these kids! The routine was great and as opposed to Dicko (a past judge of Australian Idol) I reckon they were right on the ball. Hope Adam get's to view this routine because he surely will love this interpretation of 'DTRH'...and these are kids.

The woman judge needs to attend an Adam concert for sure. Her look of confusion wasn't as priceless as that of Guy Sebestian (an Aussie winner of AI way back) when Adam performed on XFactor a few years ago! That we will never forget! Adam knocked his socks off! Priceless!

@ Jadam NZ............JAK here

Crazy things do happen to Adam fans, as I was spending a few hours in the hospital Emergency Room recently a nurse came in to set me up for an EKG. When she moved my purse from the gurney she noticed the Adam peace emblem pendant that I use as a zipper pull. Of course that set us off, "Are you an Adam fan?" etc. Then she looked at my chart and said "I know who you are....you're JAK!" We chatted as she got me hooked up and then she said "okay no more talking, calm down, breathe easy, don't think about Adam.....think about Clay Aiken!"

That worked! You never know where you will encounter a fellow Glambert and 24/7 fan!

Anonymous said...

@Jak- that's so cool that nurse knew who you were!!! I'm in fla also ,working with all these college kids that never have thier I-phones 2 seconds away from thier bodies!!! Believe me I am slowly, turning them on to adam's new music. That was funny with the clay aiken bit, I do like him you know, but he doesn't get the heart racing does he?? LOL Actually I did see clay live (his own concert in R.I right after idol (at some college)- he was amazing, but nothing like our Adam

brownie

Good to hear from you Jak!

@Jak
Trust you are feeling better-er.
It's amazing where fans turn up when you least expect them. Ha, with the Clay Aiken mention!
