JUST SAW BEHIND THE MUSIC --- ADAM LAMBERT, ON VH1,,,WAS A REPEAT, BUT TALKED A LITTLE ABOUT HIS NEW ALBULM TRASPASSING,,,,HOW COOL,,, BUT IT IS ALWAYS ABOUT BEING GAY,,, NOT JUST ABOUT HIS AMAZING VOICE,,, OH WELL, THIS ALBULM IS REALLY GOOD, AND A GOOD PIC ON THE COVER, HE IS 30 AND A MAN NOW,,, GOOD LUCK ADAM ON YOUR NEW ALBUMN,,,, ITS GREAT!!!!!
JAK here...this is not going to be an easy project, but my devious mind is racing. How am I going to approach this situation? ....ME..."Honey, you know how upset I've been over the destruction done to the house in replacing all the underground plumbing?"...HIM..."Yes, I know it's been awful."...ME..."Well the wallpaper is up and the new floor tile has arrived and the painting is done, but we're still waiting on carpeting to be installed, my nerves are shot!".....HIM..."I know, but it won't be long now till things are back to normal."...ME..."I've been thinking, I've heard of this great place called Fantasy Springs, I think it's a hotel with a spa, I'd like to go there for just a few days to unwind and de-stress, whataya think?"...HIM..."Sure, I think that's a great idea, when are you going? Where is it?"...ME..."Oh I'll wait till all the repairs and refurbishing is finished, in about a month maybe.......it's..uh..in California."
HIM..."CALIFORNIA !!!...are you nuts!!!!!...we live in Florida 15 minutes from beaches with hundreds of hotels with spas...pick one of them!" ----------------------------------
JAK, From what we know of you, you must have pretty persuasive ways. I'd keep working on HIM to convince him that CALIFORNIA is the best place to recuperate from stress. It's all in support of your health and well-being, right? I sense glitter in the air!
@Jak I'm wondering How I'm going to get mine to even go to the tour here in fla never mind california LOL. Will have to go alone and meet up with other glamberts hopefully.
I really truly hope you can go to Fantasy Springs. Seriously. Just tell him its "DRY HEAT" in the desert. Totally different from southern Florida...Whatever it takes...Just DO IT!!
Live in California and not going. Bummer but I'm on other end of state. Healthbproblems keeping me confined this summer. I am thankful to you tube. If one must settle...take what I can get.
I thinks Glitzylady has a really good point!"Don't ask, just tell"! Great advise! you know how men minds work, simple minds!;)You should say that totally convinced and showing him you'll never take NO for an answer!About meeting her, that whould work too, but do not tell him why you know her...and remember not to say the name ADAM! You can do it!! Go gilr, GO for HIM!! ..( HIM, not specifics, WHO the HIM is....;))
@JAK ... ROFL w/tears in my eyes. Sooo FUNNY!! I hope you GET YOUR WAY ... that's too creative for it not to work! Keep at it ... if at first you don't succeed ... GOOD LUCK!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!!
I hope you get your relaxation holiday in Cali... How many hours flight it is? Probably more than for me to go to London. In my case, it just hit me like "I NEED to get myself to London no matter what".
But it'd be great to be in Adam's own concert with Glamberts only - because California is too far for my health (and budget) I just hope HE gets his ass down to the front (near here) with his new music some day...
JAK here......LOVE all your comments, they gave me some very welcome giggles.
In actual fact I have no need to use persuasion (though my power is considerable...^o^).. I'm spoiled rotten by my guy of 55 years, I've never heard the word "No" from him! He's a very witty, sweet, indulgent pussy cat. (He used to be a tiger but now is more of a house cat!)
Like a few of our other ardent Glamberts it's my health that limits many of my activities...so I'm the one who says "No"! A frustrating situation...if you are the one who says "no" to you, who can you be mad at?
@JAK surely you can wait till Adam gets to Florida-and meantime, his Fantasy Springs concert will most likely be video taped like it was last time. I still watch his rendition of Whole Lotta Love from there when I need a "fix". Because I live in San Diego, I'm going to the concert at the Pacific Amphitheater on July 19th. I think my husband would think I'm beyond nuts if I told him I wanted to go to Fantasy Springs as well-so I better cool it and be satisfied with Orange County for now. We DO have to use some discretion....I'll be married 40 years in August and Hubby has never seen me like this about ANYONE!!!! Not even Neil Diamond when I used to drag him around LA and San Diego to see him in concert! This Adam affliction is like no other.......
Yeah, that Whole Lotta Love rendition is a powerful fix...sort of as close to porn as I get! ^o^
My kids have vowed that if Adam performs in Tampa or Orlando they are going to plop me in a wheelchair and make me go...dead or alive...but truth is I don't think I could take the crowd, the screaming and flashing lights are a def migraine maker. Sooooooooooo, my grandson, the fixer for all things in the entertainment world of Orlando has decided he could arrange for me to go to a soundcheck. He has "connections"! ??? If that could happen, I might go!
My last crush even semi close to this magnitude was on Daniel Day Lewis (after Last of the Mohicans) I have a passion for tall scrawny Irishmen with big noses and wonderful bony hands!
So you see, Adam is not my type at all, but he makes my heart and ears happy. :)
Sounds to me as though some of you haven't trained your husbands correctly. My hubby knows..."If momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy." I employ the stealth and grace method. "I'd really love it if you would take me to Palm Springs for a quiet weekend, just the two of us. Alone. In a lovely hotel/casino. You could relax playing blackjack and I could have a massage. After dinner we could listen to some lovely music, and then...well I'll leave it up to you to decide what we do later in the evening all by ourselves."
If I utter those words, he'll trip all over himself getting to the computer to make reservations. I've already purchased the concert tickets to surprise him with when we get there. I'll be thrilled and later in the evening when we're all by ourselves, I'll thrill him. It's a win win for both of us.
Works every time. Devious, but he hasn't caught on in 25 years, and it keeps the spark on going.
@JAK your grandson sounds precious. I hope he can make that happen for you some day soon. My grandson is only 4 {red hair, no freckles yet-but as sweet as can be.} I have a feeling he will grow up to be a darling to his grammie-just like yours is to you. I'm very blessed. And I agree- WLL Fantasy Springs is as close to porn as I ever really want to get!
A four year old? My very favorite age! You know how you scoop him up and sit him in your lap for a quick snuggle? Well, my boy is 24 and he scoops me up and sits me in his lap for a snuggle! Yes, he's precious to me.
@ Shiggles........JAK here
You know there is a word for women like you!............SMART!
@JAK You seem to remember exactly what it's like to have a 4 year old grandson-and yes-that's EXACTLY what I do -scoop him up. Oh how darling to imagine your grandson now scooping YOU up for a snuggle! Thank you for putting that precious image in my mind......

Good to see this show being promoted other than on Adam sites.
