Whew! So glad the sexiest man vote is over and the sexiest man DID win! Lots of great links today to some great interviews and articles. Adam is SO excited about the Queen gigs. How come they mentioned more than 600,000 votes ADAM received but say 45% for Britney without mentioning the number of votes?

I'm guessing that though Britney's share is 45%, the number must be not that high. so it's better to give the percentage instead. Because just like me, I never bothered voting for the sexiest female but just keep hitting for ADAM. I'm sure the votes for sexiest male total is much much higher than the total votes for the sexiest female.

Then Lindsey , at the very end of her list, Honorable mentions, and there were many, "and anything Adam Lambert did" in big bold letters. Yes, Lindsey, you got it right! It is great to read about this poll and that one and Adam being named as the winner of whatever it is. It must be fun and interesting for him, but I would think that the only major poll or numbers he is concerned with are in regard to album sales at this point in his career. He is just so proud of Trespassing and all the collabs and work that went into its production. Now all we need to see is that people are buying it and that NCOE is being played onthe radio. Doing the concerts with Queen and Elton John are monumental for Adam and I imagine he so looking forward to performing with them. But again, I think the most important thing for him is to get people into listening to and buying his album which I absolutely love. And I don't mean this in a negative sense about the money from the sales either although I am sure this is important to the record label. We have seen other artists dropped from their label recently because they just are not selling I just think he wants everyone to listen to his music because he loves what he is doing in this album. It is energetic, upbeat, funky and yet there are those poignant, gutwrenching ballads that pull at your heart. There is such "crap" on the radio today that is heard over and over again, and yet Adam who is the best voice in music today, has to fight to have his latest single played in all the different radio markets. I have been a fan since the first note he sang on IDOL and will continue to be one hoping that the listening audience finally opens their ears and their eyes to appreciate this amazingly talented, smart,honest and charming performer.

I cannot wait for these Queen concerts!!!

Did you know adams dad Eber, has his tickets to see Adam with Queen in London. I bet he is excited too.
Is Sauli able to stay with Adam for a while, he can find stuff to do in London, while Adam is rehearsing. Adam can only rehearse several hours a day, and that leaves time for Adam and Sauli to be together.

Adam WILL perform BR with Queen. He has pretty much said that he will. I think it will be GREAT and will not "ruin" or "desicrate" the song or Freddie's memory by singing it with them. The setlist will ultimately be Brian and Roger's decision and I think they'll want to sing BH. Adam will do it justice.

As to all these polls and popularity contests, I have come to think that they ARE important to keep Adam in the public eye and to show the public that he has a large following. Sure, sales are ultimately important, but keeping his name out there as a singer and celebrity is also important.

I hope enough of us are continuing to spin the NCOE video and request the song on radio. There is so much exciting news right now, that it's hard to remember to do everything!

IMO certain polls are really important for fans to support which helps to give Adam visibility in music scene. Billboard poll was very important and some publications picked up the news. We have to do the same thing for MTV and VH1 polls. It shows that Adam has a strong fanbase. They write articles about it and this in turn can help with album sales.

@8:01PM I am not as much familiar with Queen's songs and because of Adam I started to pay more attention to their music. I downloaded bunch of their albums from iTunes to familiarize myself with what Adam's gonna perform. However Adam will perform Queen's songs I'm sure I'll love it. Remember Queen by having Adam as their frontman, they want to expose their music to younger generation who like me aren't familiar with their music.

Tell me, who listens to radio? I haven't in 20 years, nor do my kids, nor my friends. We all listen to MP3, Ipod, cds and Itunes. Where is the radio audience? Just curious.

Freddie is no doubt an iconic singer and not to be replaced especially with regard to BR. But I still want to hear Adam sing it; he'll bring it to life with his power and voice, much needed for BR to be done justice. Also...I Want To Break Free and Another One Bites The Dust.
Another thing I often read is that Adam has to fight so hard to get his music played/heard. I don't view it as fighting hard at all, rather as his dedication and love for his art/singing and wanting to share it with as many people as possible. And so his relentless rounds at radio stations, mini concerts etc. shouldn't be viewed as fighting hard as in a struggle; more like a labour of love. His songs being played fewer times does make it appear to be so; but he's not fighting hard perse. :)

@9:07PM my boys listen to Pandora on their iPhones and seldom buy any music cause they can pick what songs they would like to listen to. Had a tenant who got laid-off recently after working for 25 years for no. 1 talk radio station in US and the reason being ratings for radio listeners dropped drastically for the past couple of years because of internet.

Adam has one of the strongest fanbase on internet and we as his fans can be more effective to give him visibility via internet. Some one above mentioned that these polls aren't important. IMO they ARE VERY IMPORTANT. Polls help to give Adam more visibility. Remember when Adam was invited for that pre-Grammy internet panel discussion. At the beginning they discussed rapid changes of uprisings in various parts of the world and how internet helped people to change their governments and leaders. Radios are still important but I think we can use internet to make Adam more visible to the outside world.

I have some empathy with your position about someone else singing Bohemian Rhapsody, but music is written to be heard. If it's a great song it will be repeated by many artists. We will have our favorite rendition, but the song will go on. I loved Johnny Cash with his rough growly voice singing Ring of Fire, but I'm glad I didn't miss Adam's version. Smokey Robinson's Tracks of My Tears was an all time favorite of mine.....but Adam's....WOW!

No one is going to forget Freddy sitting at the piano singing Bohemian Rhapsody...it's a classic.
Let's see if Adam can honor Freddy with his version. I'm sure if Brian and Roger feel the song is untouchable, they won't choose to have Adam sing it.

I'm not voting for the DSA until this Ricky Martin thing is cleared up. The website people have to knwo this is happening, unless no one has told them yet. Ricky is fine but I sure don't want my ADAM votes to go to him. They gotta fix this!

RE: Polls. There's important and there's IMPORTANT. The most important polls are the new media -playing his music videos on VEVO and Youtube, tweeting the links and commenting on articles. Streaming Adam's music and listening to it on Soundcloud. That counts.

The question is: is voting on these overnight polls taking away from key voting activity?

IMHO the "sexiest" polls are done so often they hardly matter to the general public any more. If any matter, the recent UK poll is bigger than BB because it pushes Adam's face in front of a new audience.

If you're pressing keys for Adam, just make sure your time is well spent.
