From Toronto Star:

http://www.torontosun.com/2012/06/13/lambert-spears-sexiest-pop-stars

It featured ADAM and BRITNEY as the Sexiest winners. But then asked readers to vote on: Who do you think is the Sexiest in their list.
I voted and again it shows ADAM. Toronto Star mud be expecting to get another winner and not ADAM.

This, adam winning sexiest music star is getting some publicity- Yeah- lots of articles- lots of support for sure- lots of haters coming out in full forse also! Once again, never a dull moment being an adam fan. Does he even know he won (adam) anyone know? The way I look at it, maybe the haters will take a second look at just how gorgeous he is, they probably only saw a few bad pictures and formed thier opinions from that.

Anonymous said...

9:33 did he win again? Who would have thought this fan poll would have generated all this attention.lol

It is one good morning here in Finland, WWFM video from tv and
NCOE on the radio : )

10:36 Yay so good to hear that!!

@10:34PM

Yes, ADAM has the most votes in that Toronto Star poll. You get the result outright.

daydreamin said...

Hey did anyone else hear the beginning music of Cuckoo on So You Think You Can Dance right after the heavy set guy performed? I caught it immediately and leaned in and turned up the volume to be sure!!

daydreamin said...

Why are all these interviews being so chopped up into segments? Just give me it all!

Anonymous said...

daydreamin dang I must have just missed that because I watched that guys audition and was talking about how good he was. I should have not been talking. Maybe someone will post it here. I have a fantasy of someone doing a beautiful routine to Underneath or OOL on SYTYCD. I will have to watch it every week now.

Adam won 3 times. Awesome

Toronto star always had a negative edge regarding good news about Adam Lambert. Even when his album went straight to number one on billboard 200 they had to follow the news of that with a negative comment. They had to compare the number of sales, in fact whoever writes the articles for the star are down right snarky. The fact that he ousted Adele from the number one spot says it in itself, after all it's only his second album, best talented singer and performer in many a many years.

How fantastic to be an Adams fans eh!!

The truth speaks itself!

Adam is the MODERN ICON of this generation and nothing can stop him to be on top.

He is rebellious, no apologies for who he is....

That's why he is very interesting to watch indeed!!!!

He changed a lot of peoples mindset... More and more followers are really curious about him.

He is ROCK!!!!:)))

Adam gets accused of always talking about being gay, but the first word in Toronto article is "gay." Adam didn't write that, they did.

Anyway, I'm glad Adam won because it IS generating lots of articles. I am SO glad that a great pic of him is being used, instead of some odd one that isn't as flattering. He is being shown in all his gorgeous glory.

Nice PressParty interview. Can't wait for the second half!

From DIGITAL SPY UK: Review of Single NCOE

A glance over the credits for ADAM LAMBERT's forthcoming album Trespassing reads like a who's who of world-class pop. But while he's had a hand in several of the tracks, you couldn't be blamed for wondering whether he'll be overshadowed by teaming up with the likes of Pharrell Williams, Nile Rodgers and, on his latest cut, production powerhouses Bruno Mars and Dr Luke.

Fortunately, it's a combination that works in perfect harmony. Mars's lyrics provide the fist-clenching emotion ("There's plenty of time to sleep when we die/ So let's just stay awake until we grow older"), Luke's throbbing beats and squelchy synths ensure it's tailored to the dancefloor, and ADAM LAMBERT supplies plenty of drama with a growly vocal. The result, as you might expect, is near pop perfection.

I hate all the negativity on this site about Adam's radio play. I mean just keep requesting and stop bitching about the same old things. I think the Adam haters do a good enough job discrediting him on sites like MJS so we don't need to do that on this site. Adam is equally frustrated because of lack of airplay so why do fans come out writing his singles or his album off because of lack of radio play....just request request request and focus on the positives. I mean he is in London rehearsing with Queen and that is all kinds of awesome!!!!!! He may never be as big as Gaga but neither she nor the likes of Adele face the same sort of social hurdles that Adam does....if I get frustrated with the gay gay gay and flamboyant, eye liner, eccentric etc comments that accompany his every article imagine how he feels given he has produced a kick ass album that has received rave reviews.

Go ADAM!! You are a long way from where you were 3 years ago and your star will keep burning bright for years to come.

EXCERPT FROM REVIEW of TRESPASSING

The writer believes ADAM in a league above the rest but says Trespassing disappoints.

http://www.popmatters.com/pm/review/159246-adam-lambert-trespassing/

"Here’s why I mention song lengths. Almost from the start of American Idol, fans and critics speculated about which contestant would use the show’s format to break molds and shift paradigms, or to rebel against the format itself. To date on Idol, only two contestants have fit the bill: Sanjaya Malakar, who demonstrated that the public has terrible taste, and ADAM LAMBERT, who proved the opposite. Even Joshua Ledet, Season 11’s insanely talented gospel-soul screamer, fits the Idol mold: an attractive person singing a song well, usually in a way we’re accustomed to hearing it sung, and receiving a reward. In contrast, LAMBERT took over Season Eight, mentoring the other contestants, doling out his own rewards (“Mad World”) and punishments (“Ring of Fire”), and using the format to establish himself as the country’s most vital entertainer.

Despite his second-place finish, ADAM LAMBERT owned the show; he was bigger than the Simons. (Rolling Stone’s Rob Sheffield: “Having ADAM around seems to cheer everybody up, including the other singers, who know the pressure’s off. Hell, even Simon looks happy.”)

If Season Eight—or Idol itself—is remembered artistically centuries from now, it’ll be for ADAM LAMBERT’s performances. (*THE BEST LINE HERE!)

After the season ended, the question—the worry—became, “How does he translate this persona into a recording career?”

Idol gave LAMBERT the gift of constraints; he kept his songs to a certain length so the producers wouldn’t give him the stiletto boot, because what fun would that’ve been? He sang MJ and Johnny Cash because he had to, upending audience expectations in the process.

On-stage, LAMBERT was a big-hearted rebel, but the show’s narrow parameters gave him something to rebel against. As my wife feverishly downloaded his singles, there was something disappointing about hearing “Black or White” apart from the Idol stage—it simply sounded like a really good singer’s cover version, but not like the world historical chokehold of the previous night.

So unfortunately, the answer to that worried question remains, “He hasn’t figured it out yet”. Like his first album For Your Entertainment, Trespassing disappoints because it’s Lambert playing on pop’s terms and sometimes narrowing the terms unnecessarily."

Anonymous said...

I agree with all of this! It's like I said "Adam's bigger than pop!"

But at any time he's the best of the rest!

Anonymous said...

8:27am-I agree wholeheartedly. don't go to MJs anymore, too associated with AI past stuff. we need to remember AI for all its glory but move beyond it.

MotoMoto said...

^^^ why not let Adam sing what he wants to instead of bowing down to people's expectations of him. He has repeatedly said he LOVES Pop and he grew up listening to it and he made an album that HE wanted to make...if it doesn't suit you follow an artist who sings what you want to listen to. I am so so so tired of all the 'he should be doing rock' comments.

Anonymous said...

This reviewer really likes Adam and seems to WANT him to succeed. He recognizes his talent. Adam has yet to get that one HIT song, though NCOE is doing well. Adam's voice seems to outreach the material he has. The best songs on Trespassing, at least to me, are the ones that probably will never get radio play. EXCEPTION: Shady, which is hope will get radio play sometime. I get upset when Adam's music is criticized for being derivative of others or of doing music that "was done better by others." Come ON! Adam's voice is unique. He does not sound like anyone else. he does NOT blend in. So many singer just sound like each other, but not him. His career is moving ahead. Most reviews of his singles and the new album have been terrific.

EXCERPT from nzherald.com.nz

It's not about ADAM but he was mentioned.

SCOTT KARA: REFELECTIONS OF AN OLD FART

"Of course, during this long metal reign, I listened to other music but the steady diet was brutal and ideally, beautifully heavy, music.

However, in the last month or so I have undergone a seismic shift in my music listening tastes. I am getting into music I haven't listened to for a long time (in some cases more than 20 years) and things I never thought I would listen to (honestly, the new ADAM LAMBERT album is really very good).

Anonymous said...

JAK here........SO MANY OPINIONS..I think all of us want Adam to succeed ....we just have differing ideas on how that can happen. I don't think his future is in recordings necessarily. I think one day he'll be offered a lead in a stage musical and his career will skyrocket. To steal a line from my fav. Queen song (Don't Stop Me Now) "on a rocketship on his way to Mars"......He'll be the "toast of Broadway" in one play after another and sweep up armloads of Tonys at the theater award shows.
And , if I live so long, I will go to see him if I have to go in a wheelchair hauling an oxygen tank!
Along with a few of my fellow old-ish Glamberts. And we'll buy all the original cast albums and drift and dream of his spectacular success.

Obviously it's my nap time, I've begun to hallucinate. I'm heading for a cosy bed and 2 hours of blissful unconsciousness. Since I only sleep 2 to 3 hours a night....
I NEED MY NAP!

I think nearly all reviews mention the fantastic voice and charisma and stage presence. visual is best and that does not always translate to radio to be unique. and we know Adam is unique- no one else sounds like him so you can distinguish his voice. He sparks interest, and that is a huge positive. sad that such mundane songs can become hits, many I don't ever want to hear again.

THE VIGILANT CITIZEN

This deals with celebrities pushing the agendas of the New World Order, The Illuminati, Freemason, Secret Society’s symbolism, Anti-Christ. Today’s features Jay-Z and Kanye’s and ADAM’s NCOE.

http://vigilantcitizen.com/musicbusiness/the-police-state-agenda-in-jay-z-and-kanyes-no-church-in-the-wild-and-adam-lamberts-never-close-our-eyes/

IN CONCLUSION (Excerpt):
“Jay-Z and Kanye West’s No Church in the Wild and ADAM LAMBERT’s Never Close Our Eyes are two examples of a widespread and continual effort to promote police state imagery on TVs, movie screens and computer monitors across the world. Associating cool artists who are adored by millions of people with riot police not only normalizes the concept of a police state but also creates an unconscious positive association in the minds of the viewers.

wddb2 replied:
“The fact is, Adam never described this song or his new CD as anything but a look into his personal life, a “Trespassing,” he said. Then along comes the director for this video, and Adam purportedly saw a brilliant re-imagining of his love song. Indeed, in at least two filmed interviews, Adam used the term “New World Order.”
Let’s just say Adam Lambert has fully “seen the light.” BTW: The video for his “Better Than I Know Myself” is….interesting.”

Iyaan asks:

“Ok well I am EXTREMELY CONFUSED. I have been following VC and I am an aspiring singer with a similar vocal range and ability to ADAM LAMBERT’s who I have often been compared to. I have been offered a few recording deals back in South Africa where I am from but I made the decision to turn them down because of all of this that is happening. But I am still in two minds about how this could affect me and the severity and power that we seem to be giving this force.

Of course its undeniable that this type of agenda in the music industry is very real.

For example: ADAM LAMBERT tattooed an Eye of Horus on his arm shortly after his entry into the music industry and his “Better Than I Know Myself” video depicts duality, Baphomet and other blatant symbolism. But then after watching “Never Close Our Eyes” and relating the music video to the lyrics, I actually took away a more positive message overall that goes against ILLUMINATI agenda. Resistance against a police state agenda. Is it not all about perspective and the lens from which we view our worlds?

Surely it goes with anything in life that if we keep looking for evil in every single thing, then we will find it? Please enlighten me because right now this is destroying me. I so badly want to express myself musically and pursue my dreams but of course without selling my soul or my morals. Don’t we always have a choice even if I had to sign with a label, as long as I keep myself in check?”

@JAK
At work so will be brief: I have always believed that Adam may achieve his greatest level of stardom on Broadway, or at least ONE of MANY levels. I personally love both albums and love that we get to see him on stage LIVE as a result. Because that is where he truly belongs and where he and his amazing voice take us "To Mars"..and beyond!

Anonymous said...

I'm also interested in the New World Order related stuff. I agree that NCOE video's concept is about police state, but I see it also as anti-nwo. I think Adele's success is very interesting, because of her "break-up" album 21. She was dumped by a black guy and I wonder if she got as much sympathy if the guy had been white. New world order is also very pro feminism (goddess worship) and it seems like it's easier for the female singers to get to the top. I used to read tons of articles about nwo some years ago. Didn't take everything seriously. I am a white woman by the way.

Anonymous said...

Wow, this thread got very intellectual. So much deep thought about Adam's videos and songs. It's good to know that he gets so many people thinking.

JAK, you and I (and others) have agreed previously that Adam will most likely branch out into other areas of performance, like the stage, movies, merchandising, even producing. I think he'll always sing. No one will ever want him to stop doing that. But I think other endeavors will be what makes him a powerful force, a breaththrough person, in many other areas.

JAK here......What happened? I took a nap and woke up in the middle of New World Order, Freemasonry,The Illuminati and the Anti Christ?

This world? This world of countries who are busy destroying their neighboring countries, their own citizens and blowing each other up with religious fervor.....
this world is going to organize itself into a one world government?

A New World Order?
Yeah right!

I went to sleep in Florida ( a shining example of statewide political cooperation, corruption and insanity) and woke up on Planet Cuckoo!

@ lyaan

Quit following Vigilant Citizen, go home, if you have a voice even close to the beauty of Adam's, sign a recording contract and sing your heart out. Only you are in control of your relationship to God, don't let any group decide who or what is evil, you have a brain, use it. Be happy and fill your heart with love not hatred, suspicion and conspiracies.

The real concept of New World Order started out in early years of 1800 from Iran and hundreds of thousands or maybe millions gave their lives for this concept and this day many of their members are in prison, martyr, and they properties confiscated by current religious regime because they are scared of their ideology of elimination of prejudices of all kinds, equality between WOMEN and men, universal education, etc. etc.

Anonymous said...

More principles of New World Order which started out in Iran:

Oneness of Mankind, Religion and God
Independent search for truth
Global commonwealth of nations
Science and Religion should go hand in hand
Elimination of Extreme poverty and wealth
Earth is one country and mankind its citizen

and other principles that current or old religions might be against them for betterment of humanity on earth.

Anonymous said...

The New World Order is older than that. Check out the Bible. Revelations. Check out Ancient Egypt.

A famous proponent of The New World Order said "How fortunate for government that the people they administer don't think" That quote is from Adolf Hitler.

The principles you stated describe Heaven, not Earth unfortunately.

Anyone interested in this should look up New World Order and read all the different ideas connected with it. Both good and evil definitions. It's terrifying and fascinating.

You can see why he was voted the sexiest male music star.

I'd go to that poll about "is Adam worthy of singing with Queen," but I don't want my blood pressure to go up tonight. Of course, he's worthy, and those who say he isn't have chosen voluntarily to be blind and deaf. These kinds of polls just breed hate. Adam will stand up to all of it and sing his heart out. Guy's got guts.

All this New World Order stuff is really creepy.

@4:14PM Here's about Madonna.

MADONNA’S MDNA Tour Replete With ILLUMINATI Agenda

http://vigilantcitizen.com/latestnews/madonnas-mdna-tour-replete-with-illuminati-agenda/

“The Grand Priestess of the music industry is back on tour. Madonna signed a multi-year deal with Interscope records. All of her new works fully embrace the same ILLUMINATI Agenda as the rest of the music industry. People have come to expect controversy from Madonna, but this is not simply controversy for the sake of it like she used to do in the 90′s. Nope, this is symbolic and calculated controversy, engineered to carry all of the ILLUMINATI’s messages. Here’s a short article from the Telegraph that sums up her show.

Madonna, whose conversion to the esoteric Jewish sect Kabbalah sparked an unlikely trend in Hollywood, launched her world tour in Tel Aviv last night with a plea for peace in the Middle East.
The American singer greeted 30,000 Israeli fans in Tel Aviv’s Ramat Gan Stadium with the declaration: “You can’t be a fan of mine and not want peace in the world”.

“We all bleed the same colour,” Madonna told her ecstatic crowd, standing against the backdrop of an enormous illuminated crucifix and satanic symbols.

“If we can all rise above our egos and our titles and the names of our countries and our religions, and treat everyone around us with dignity and respect, then we are on the road to peace. If there is peace here in the Middle East, there can be peace in the whole world.”

@Anon 5:57 PM
Re, The Poll: "Is Adam Lambert worthy of singing with Queen"

It matters not what anyone else thinks..QUEEN knows Adam is worthy. And anyone who has heard Adam sing, and actually has listened to him, knows he is worthy as well.

Case in point: I work in a dental office..One of my patients knows I'm an Adam Lambert fan.. I told her yesterday that Adam will be singing with Queen this summer, and in fact has already done so, at the EMA's. She said, and I quote: "WOW!! That is SOOO perfect! Adam would be amazing singing with them. My husband and I saw Queen when Paul Rogers was singing with them, and ADAM LAMBERT WILL BE WAY BETTER THAN HIM! I'd go see Adam singing with Queen. I hope they come to the US for a concert or two.." This statement came from a very "casual fan" who watched Adam on Idol, but has not followed his career since then, other than seeing him occasionally on Idol as a guest, etc. ..

So the answer to that silly Poll question is:

HELL YES, ADAM IS WORTHY OF SINGING WITH QUEEN...

The End ; ))))
