WIth the back and forth flights from London/USA/London in a few days, Adam must be wondering "ok, what the heck time is it right now?:)".
I love this interview. The UK should listen not only to Never Close Our Eyes, but also to the other fantastic and amazing tracks on Adam's album TRESPASSING. I listen to it every single day and not once have I skipped a song. All great!!

I love the way Adam always clarifies that he is not replacing Freddie Mercury or becoming the new front man for Queen. He straightens that out whenever the interviewer brings that up. He knows exactly who he is and what he is doing in those 6 concerts. Adam seems very relaxed and confident after having been through rehearsals for the shows. I hope we get to see some videos here in the states from these concerts. I want to take it all in and also see what Adam will be wearing. I watched the EMAs when he sang with Queen and it was amazing. Hopefully it will bring new fans to Adam and his music. Sometimes I think he is appreciated and accepted more internationally than he is here at home. Vocally he is in a league of his own and will always be in my estimation. Love the British accent too.

What a nice interview and good publicity in UK. This is what he needs over there. Charming, fab looks, eloquent, honest, funny, even a bit of british accent. LOL! The Englishmen will love it. Usually people love it when you show them that you have made an effort by speaking/learning a bit of their language (well, in this case only the accent). The outsold Queen concerts are a fact, but to sell more of his own music over there he needs more publicity. The average Queen fans are maybe not the target for Trespassing, but hopefully people will recognize him, realize his greatness and buy, buy, buy.

Love everything that Adam does. What can I say. I love this man.

The woman interviewer was horrible. My goodness, what a jerk. The man was great. Adam handled it all with class.

Anonymous said...

Neither one of these people seemed to know much about Adam, but the man was much nicer than the woman. Warmer personality than she has.

Anonymous said...

JAK here.....she seemed a bit antagonistic...sort of "prove to me why you are worth talking to".
He's not easily flustered is he?
So "Take That Lady"!!!

Probably just this g'al's personality. The British are a rather subdued lot so this might be as enthusiastic as she gets. She twice said his British was excellent. Adam has such a command of this type of conversation. Makes one so wonder why U S tv late night keeps putting on musicians who can't put two words together coherently not to mention sounding stupid!!!We all know who I mean .

I think the lady is just a typical Brit and in fact asked questions UK viewers need to know about Adam if they do not know who he is. i find it funny that her style is like an interrogation by a gossiper. LOL!

Yes, I agree with JAK and others, the woman interviewer was trying to be smart and intermidate Adam. She had no show. By the end of the interview she was thinking he was brilliant, completely won over like others before her."Another one bites the Dust" LOL

Brian May is berting and supporting Adam a lot on his blog. I decided to support them by buying their albums. Downloaded couple of Queen albums from iTunes.

Check out his blog here:

You guys have it right. I am the one that started the rant about her and you all knew exactly what she was up to. Adam's fans are not only passionate, but very smart too!

Everyone -- every single person that listens to or watches an Adam Lambert interview falls for his charm. Resistance is futile...

I loved adam on this interview, managed to catch it on livestream. But I didn't think much of the interviewers, the guy was a bit better but the woman definitely lacked warmth. There are far better presenters on British television, especially on the other channels morning shows. Remember Lorraine Kelly from a couple of years ago, just a natural presenter.

Charmicide!

Anonymous said...

I think by the end she came around, she was mesmerized, could not think properly.. haha. she was staring at the fabulousness of it all. Adam did great getting in impt sound bites.

Magiclady said...

I love his english accent, he was so cute and a bit shy with the ducking of his head!

Charmicide is indeed a perfect word!

Anonymous said...

The woman was insultive, British
or not! Adam has such class and is so gracious and these host lacked both. Adam took control of that situation...moral of the story is: don't go messing with Mr Adam Lambert, because your outclassed!

Anonymous said...

What's this we're reading on Adam's twitter about people getting stuff signed JUST to sell on e-bay?! Honestly I saw many in Glam Nation days, most especially in the US who got up to all kind of
things...and I was disgusted them.

Anonymous said...

Somehow this interview just lacks luster and it wasn't on Adams part.

Anonymous said...

I just love ADAM's fans!
I like the CHARMICIDE and no wonder ADAM said he loves singing ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!
More power!!!

Wow! Did any of you read about the Elton John White Tie and Tiara event he's holding tomorrow posted by Anon 4:30 .. that I guess Adam will be attending?? Sounds like an amazing event and yes, Shoshanna is right - won't it be wonderful to see Adam in a white tie and tux?? Yum! Sure hope we get great pics!

Re: the rude lady interviewer - after they played NCOE and she said 'that doesn't sound like Queen' and he's like 'no, it sounds like Adam Lambert' but then graciously transitioned to how he and Queen are blending the sounds etc. Yes, Adam is SUCH a class act! I'm always amazed at how well he interviews, no matter the sometimes rude interviewers.

Anonymous said...

The interviewers are only right to play the role of curious inquisitors for the benefit of those who don't know Adam. But when she seems incredulous at how an Idol alum could rise to the level of a legendary Queen's frontman, Adam's use of "we" to refer to the mutual decision of worthy parties is a perfect repartee to what seems the slightest of condescension. atm

As always Adam's Awesome & so so Cool:)
Yep, the female Brit interviewer was horrible, & her facial expression on top of all, nay, not so pretty that early in the morning wheas Adam looks amzing, gorgeous especially just having flewn over from US to UK!!!
That's why we love our Adam!!!
yay! so so proud & happy for him!

I think the interview was nice, and of course the answers were great. The female reporter had her tongue twisted at times, but overall it was an informative interview with Adam. I've already seen enough of shallow interviews and television shows stuffed with jokes (and gay stuff), so it was nice to see a more critical one. The woman was only doing her job, I think she reflected what the British actually wants to know about Adam. And, as always, he handled it brilliantly!

The very first thing that I noticed in the interview, aside from Adam, was what I thought was some rudeness from the lady. I was reluctant to state my opinion until I saw that quite a few people felt the same way. Adam always comes out of these interviews the winner---he does not get flustered very easily ---never at a loss on how to answer a question very politely!! As someone else stated ---he is definitely a class act---I will always be a fan!!1

I didn't find her rude at all. I could watch Adam anytime anywhere. Don't forget to buy the uk version of TRESPASSING at Amazon uk.

The things Adam has to tolerate!
In this case a cold, prove yourself, we don't know who you are interview! Get real BBC and do some homework because you had an international star in that studio this morning! They should have done their homework prior to the show. The whole thing was stuffy, cold and rude.

Love hearing the British interview people .... their accent/s and their candour. Adam did just fine and his English accent was perfect. :-)

I am British and I have to say that the female interviewer here is always like this. I personally do not like her at all and very rarely watch. She always has that condescending manner. However I do think that they asked things and queried things that people who aren't familiar with Adam would want to know and I did note that they didn't mention the "gay" word at all! Overall I think he is getting much better promotion this time round over here but the UK market is tough. We seem to get stuck on certain artists and they get all the airtime.

Anonymous said...

I don't get everyone. I thought that the interviewers were great and truly interested and intriqued with Adam and not a pretentious bone in their body. The girl had an innocence about her I found charming. He got to talk about the Queen gigs they showed a NCOE clip and Adam got to show off his British accent!! Any Brits out there? How did he do on his accent? lol

Soon all of the UK TV and radio stations will be bowing at Adam's feet. I, on the other hand, do not bow at his feet,I look up at him in amazement1.
