JAK here......Stay that way Adam, true friends and family love you for who you are, not for who you've become. I think Adam has that exceptional quality that too many of us outgrow, the joy and wonder and appreciation of each new day. I was lucky to spend most of my working life with 4-5-6 years olds, they have that quality in abundance. Each day was an adventure with the possiblity of something special happening. I've tried to hold on to that, but, sadly it seems to slip away, bit by bit. :)

I love this tailored, stylish look on Adam. And he seems to have on very little make-up also. It's the new Adam Lambert, and I really like it. The glitz and glitter were for FYE and the GNT phase of his life. Now with Trespassing, being in love, feeling more secure in his life and career, Adam just exudes a new maturity and confidence seen during all his recent interviews. I think he has never looked better. And, his amazing voice just makes him the best talent in music today.

@11:43- well said- i love the new adam's look also.

@11:43am

I wished that ADAM first went in this direction (no glitter less make-up) right after Idol and he will have not lost thousands of Idol fans who were the conservative type and would have not received the opinion of being too gay from some of the LGBT community. And the rest of middle America will not be so threatened just because he happens to be gay. If so, there would not have so much of an uphill battle for him on the radio. But so be it, and I support ADAM all the way and all my life.

That's why we Love Adam !!!
He's real & so down to earth, no BS!!!
Despite his Fame & difficulticies getting through the music industry just because he's " different" in thier stupid narrow minded eyes!

We love that Adam's original, current & is a World Star, remember those words from Simon Crowe & Randy Jackson!
Congrats Adam!!!

12;51 - adam lost conservative america when he came out - didnt matter how he dressed or behaved -haterz will just hate

@ 3:02 P.M.

I disagree, it was the make up, costumes, feathers, fake gem stones glued on his face, etc. etc. If he had "come out" and dressed liked Neil Patrick Harris, he would have been accepted. People bordering on homophobia are willing to overlook gayness if you look and act what they consider to be normal. Don't fly the freak flag and they won't panic. It's being a hypocrite but some can live comfortably with that.

Adam did what he wanted to do and I'm sure it satisfied a long time fantasy for him, but it did chase away a lot of potential fans.

NPH and Adam are examples of how gay people are just as different as straight people. Adam's decisions about how he presents himself to the public are just part of how he is at that point in his life. He grows and changes, just like everyone else. I look back at my life and sometimes say, "What was I thinking?" Adam is not NPH, who I happen to like, BTW. Adam legacy will be one of most fascinating of any famous person. It will be a testament to courage and honesty and creativity. It'll never be boring, that's for sure.

his mother, dad, brother, danielle are his family and keep him in check and love him unconditionally. they will be there when all the fakes are gone.

I think if Adam came out and dressed and acted like NPH he would have been forgotten already. I don't always agree with him and at times would have loved to choke him but he has always kept me interested. JMO

Hey folks, let's not get political at these happy Adam times.

I'm conservative and love Adam any which way.

He would be excepted by conservative america if he suited up and acted "normal"? Do you actually here yourself? Why should someone overlook gayness to justify supporting a great entertainer and beautiful person.

NPH took him long enough to come out...and his TV show....the way he talks about women...I know it's TV but what a turnoff..LGBT seems only to support "yuppie" gays..
hypocrites

I was attracted to Adam and his wonderful and different persona. along with his voice, from the very beginning. I find him to be refreshing and intriguing. And he has a right to be whoever he wants to be. He hasn't done anything wrong. He is simply gay. He is a kind, decent, caring, intelligent, and supremely talented man. For some, that is not enough if you also happen to be gay, and no matter how he dresses, what he does, he will always be gay, and some will continue to find reasons to complain about him. "He's too gay.." "He's not gay enough" etc.. Be more like Neil Patrick Harris?? I'm sure even NPH would find that pretty amusing. They are both fabulous men, but different people, with different styles and careers. I'm straight but kinda different from some other straight people.., at least on the inside. We're all "snowflakes", unique and no two alike. Other men (gay AND straight) dress the way Adam does, perform the way he does (or at least they did in the past..). No one that I know of accuses Steven Tyler of being gay..and he dresses more flamboyantly than Adam...There are things that people think they "see" when they know someone is gay.. Adam has done some interesting things, a few perhaps misguided, and even Adam admits that. But he has also given us so many moments of joy and fabulousness..because he's Adam. Lets not try to "fix" that..He's growing and maturing and finding his way, but with that stabilizing influence of his close friends and family, and the love of his partner Sauli. He has a beautiful heart and soul. He'll make the right choices for himself and seems to be doing a pretty great job of it. Any problems that he is encountering right now, are largely beyond his control, I would dare say. . I'm celebrating his many triumphs..Because that's what he does. And doesn't look back..Just don't lick his neck... ; ))

I kinda miss the eye makeup sometimes, not so much the rhinestones and glitter, but the eyeliner and beautiful eye makeup...really used to make his eyes pop.

I notice that sometimes he has eyeliner on. It's just not a thick as he wore it in the past. He wears shadow, too, and it does emphasize those beautiful eyes. Personally, I think he always wears a little eye makeup, even if it's just a tiny bit.

@ Dana 6:57 P.M.

JAK here.....Hi Dana, Yes I was a teacher and director of a private Pre-K and Kindergarten. Best job ever!

My health has been good (relatively speaking) but my house has been sick....lots and lots of repairs which had us living in a hotel for awhile. We are home and dealing with the chaos, personally I'd rather just move!

IMHO, after outing himself on RS right after Idol, the conservative fans were still fans until he had to show it on national TV. And the more glitter and make-up, outrageous costume and the androgyny totally drove them away. They didn't know it was ADAM channelling David Bowie. That was rejected even by some LGBT saying he's a flaming . . . It was just wrong timing to do it all right after Idol. That was the mistake. If it came later after he has established himself, it will be accepted as just another phase of his career. No struggle, no uphill battle. Just saying . . .

Good to know that he appreciates the support of his close friends and family. No mentioning of boyfriend Sauli LOL!
