JAK here.....as depressing as the news is lately I think every newspaper in the country should have a full page photo of Adam everyday. It would brighten my life!

That poll has nothing to do with Grammy nominations, just something to keep fans busy.

Thank you, new Adam Lambert's USA management team!!! Love that Adam is finally getting the visibility that he so deserves.

Extremely genuine and original artists like Adam Lambert often have to work ten times harder to receive the industry's (Grammys) recognition that they do deserve. But when that recognition comes, it's for life! And, often times, an artist will succeed outside his own country before being given his due where it should have been in the first place.

Last night, I saw a biopic about Keith Urban and that guy almost quit because for more than 10 years, he could not get any recognition in the music biz. See?

@6:02

I agree. Many big artists had their taste of disappointments for years before they found their niche in the industry.
Lady Gaga was signed and dropped by LA Reid, his biggest mistake in his career, before Interscope signed her and made it big.

Katy Perry is on her 4th label now.
She was signed first with Red Hill, a Christian label (her father is a pastor) and released at 16 a gospel rock.
After that, it's Island Def Jam then Columbia which dropped her without releasing anything that she worked on.
The unreleased Columbia album ended as her debut for Capitol.
It wasn't until she worked with Dr. Luke she found any success.

BTW - today is the one year anniversary of the repeal of Dont Ask Dont Tell (for non-Americans on this blog it means that gays/lesbians in the military no longer have to hide their sexual orientation). Thank you President Obama. If Romney is elected Pres. he has vowed to reinstate Dont Ask Dont Tell. . . . Adamluv

xyz, Your post made me feel a lot better. I get so frustrated with Adam's progress sometimes, but it helps to know that lots of big stars struggled to get to the top.

@ Adamluv

I see John McCain does not have the decency to say he was wrong about repealing Don't Ask Don't Tell....he predicted all kinds of calamities. None of which have come true....JAK

JAK again....too many people equate homosexuality with hypersexuality and that sad fact causes all kinds of misconceptions.

@DRG

We do get frustrated because we, as fans, know too well how deserving ADAM is to shoot to the pinnacle of success and we expect it to be immediate right after Idol as Kelly, Carrie, Daughtry were.

But I guess, our frustration is more because at that very moment that ADAM is suppose to dominate after Idol, as we expected, the JB phenomenon happened, who we all know is nowhere compared to ADAM's talents.
And now, with just one tweet from JB, his fellow Canadian Carly Rae becomes the big summer hit with Call Me Maybe which has already downloads of 10 million.

But reading the article of Richie Sambora the other day, he said the recording industry is totally different now in this era compared to 5-10 years ago.
And he even preferred to be recording with an indie label for his solo album than the big established ones.

Heard also that RCA, which just dropped Kris, has cut its workforce by 75%.
And people are speculating they will be dropping some Idols from their contracts.
It is to the amazement of some Idol fans knowing Trespassing sales is low that ADAM is being sent to two concerts in SA, meaning RCA believes still in working with him.

As a poster said in another thread, we just have to look at ADAM's glass as half-full in 3 short years and is on his way up up and away!

11:57 is me, xyz.

Also, what @6:02 said. "oftentimes, an artist will succeed outside his own country before being given his due where it should have been in the first place." is true with Lady Gaga's case, I heard.
Something like she has established herself somehow first in Europe(?) before having success here.
Sorry, don't know much about the details but heard that's the narrative of her career.

Advanced care nurses might be able to prescribe medication, showing exactly how much more serious the job is (and how much more these types of nurses may make compared to others). Here's a quick sample of a few of the courses required by California State University Bakersfield, to enter their nursing program. We also have software that is able to detect plagiarized work and we use it on all nursing papers that we write.
