JAK here....in my never ending search for 'oddly interesting' faces, can someone tell me the name of the actor who was interviewed after Lucy Hale? He might join my list of Willem Defoe, John Malkovitch, Paul Bettaney and my dear Daniel Day-Lewis.
It appears our Adam impresses all who meet him as a sweet guy. Awwww
They should call her a beautiful little liar, not that she is lying about Adam but she is beautiful. Don't forget Oct 5th PITCH PERFECT comes out and there is something about Adam in it, nothing musical or about the soundtrack. The critic from my paper gave it 3 1/2 stars out of 4, glee meets revenge of the nerds.

Hi JAK. The clip was super short so I can't be 100% positive but I am pretty sure that was Keegan Allen. He is the actor that plays Toby on Pretty Little Liars and his picture was posted on this site once before with a comment about Adam being on PLL. He does have a William Defoe quality about him.
JAK here....thanks for info, I'll check him out. Good face for a villain...those deepset eyes!
@JAK
Curious who else is in your list of oddly interesting faces . . .
@ 9:15 P.M......JAK here
I have so many on my list, many of whom who are now dead....but a few more I like are Adrien Brody, Jeremy Irons, Alan Rickman for the guys. Three women's faces that I like....Maggie Gyllenhall (sp?)...her because she has a face from the 1930's or even 20's...I have sketched her as a "flapper" in beaded dress, headband and long cigarette holder. Vanessa Redgrave at her present age...to me she is what an old woman should look like...the tall lanky type of old woman that is, faded and wrinkled and altogether beautiful.
And for personal reasons I love Zoey Deschanel (sp?). She looks like my youngest daughter! BIG blue eyes, dark hair, sweet face and slightly befuddled expression!
I've painted since I was a teen, only portraits, so faces fascinate me. Oh, I forgot another guy...the actor James Caviezel (sp?). He's a handsome man but has something strange about the eyes...he looks like a person lit within, a saint, a devil, a mad monk! Incredibly intense. I understand he played Jesus, I didn't see the film but he wouldn't have been my choice.
@JAK
Very interesting list and I agree, especially about your comments on Jim Caviezel who likewise I find intriguing and has intense persona.
I would categorize Joaquin Phoenix and Jonathan Rhys Meyer also as intriguing and intense actors and with "oddly interesting faces".
There's one more intense actor with interesting face in a TV series not too long ago but can't think of his name right now.
Of course Daniel Day Lewis tops them all.
BTW, who have been your choice to play Jesus?
Thanks.

@ xyz.....JAK here...oh gosh, don't mention Jonathan Rhys Meyers, I have a not so secret crush on him...have had since I saw him many years ago before he was known at all, in a fascinating horrible fairy tale Gormenghast (sp?) He was so evil I loved him!
I've tried to find it, it was on BBC or PBS, but I've had no luck. I'd love to see it again if anyone knows where I might find it.
I wouldn't cast anyone as Jesus. I don't approve of depictions of Jesus in any form...films, statues, paintings, crucifixes, etc. Nor do I consider a cross a suitable subject for wall decoration or jewelry. Nor would I wear a guillotine or hangman's noose on a gold chain, in my mind all three are instruments of torture and death.
I know it's a strange concept that few if any would agree with...just another of my peculiarities. I am a strange bird!
P.S. JAK here...hooray! I just googled Gormenghast and DVD of mini series can be ordered. I intend to whisper in Santa's ear and since I've been relatively good this year, I'm sure I will have the horrible, chilling, fascinating tale of intrique in my hands by Christmas morning! Yay!
JAK
I have to agree with you on Jonathan Rhys Meyers, I find hi oddly attractive, he has that it factor.
And Zooey Deschanel,I've only seen a couple episodes of her series, but I thought she was beautiful, with a very expressive face.
@JAK and HK fan
Haha! My daughter knows I have a crush on Jonathan Rhys Meyer.
I love intense actors on the screen.
I have to get hold of that Gormenghast for I didn't see that.
I first saw him when he took the role of Elvis in bio series of the king.
Loved him in that Hugo ad on TV sometime ago and in Tudors series.
xyz
@ xyz.....JAK here.....I have The Tudors dvd. I thought JRM did a good job of playing Henry VIII though he certainly looked nothing like the old boy. Henry has been my life long passion, I've read dozens of books about him and his court for over 60+ years. His 6th wife was an ancestor of mine, Catherine Parr. I am a descendant from her sister Anne Parr. We have had an Anne in each generation since the 16th century.
In this century - C'est moi!
We seem to have a nest of Jonathan Rhys Meyer's fans...Adam included.
His favorite film Velvet Goldmine starred JRM as a rock star in the 'wild old sex with everyone days'. Actually when Adam met Tommy they sort of bonded over the film being the favorite of both of them...I'm pretty sure that's where the infamous kiss and subsequent GNT kissing came from.
The film is not one I enjoyed. But then I'm still a bit of a prude around the edges!
Be warned if you watch Gormenghast it's a depraved but very good looking very young JRM you will see! ^o^
@JAK Anne,
Have not seen Velvet Goldmine but been wanting to.
If I knew JRM was there, I would have done it soon enough.
I thought it was Ewan McGregor who starred in it.
JRM was featured in a Woody Allen movie with Scarlett Johanssen which I enjoyed but forgot the title now.
Love to know you're a descendant-in-law of a notorious royalty!
xyz
@xyz...I am not a descendant of The Tudors, but of the 13th century Plantagenet King Edward I. Anne Parr was married to Lord Herbert therefore she was Countess of Pembroke. Today there are many descendants, so my looong lost cousin, nephew or whatever William Herbert is Earl of Pembroke, he's the 18th Earl) he lives in Wiltshire UK.
I've visited England several times, always had a saucy ambition to go to Wiltshire House, ring the bell and ask the butler "Is William home, just tell him it's a relative from the USA!"...LOL
Yes, Ewan McGregor co starred with JRM...
