Wow, Adam's line-up of shows is fast and furious, we can barely catch up here. lol! He must be making a ton, goodness. Like I once called him, a money-making machine...also a singing machine. lol! :)

JAK again...a couple days at the beach is soul renewing but walking in sand is like climbing Mt. Everest, body all aching and wracked with pain...past midnight, off to bed. Will do some catching up tomorrow. zzzzzzzzzzzzz__

Yes we are always so pleased for any appreciation or new gigs for Adam arent we?
Slowly but surely we and he are climbing that mountaion, sometimes it feels like against all odds, but we hang in there he is so worth it.
I also feel I have an extra Grandson in Adam and am always so delighted for him.
I got an email yesterday to say he was coming to NZ just for a brief meet & Greet type of visit on the 10th-11th October, to maybe meet Liam and Aiden McKewen who won the video contest. The email came from the NZ Glittertribe site. Havent heard anymore but I guess it would make sense if he Is going to be in Australia by the 13th.

Oh, that's so nice for ADAM to meet the Trespassing video winners in person.
Lucky these Liam and Aiden McKewan but they really are deserving to win and this big surprise of meeting with their Idol.
I'm sure they're so excited and so looking forward to ADAM.

Amazon did this with Lady Gaga's cd. She sold 1 million cd's in the first day (week?) with the help of a $1 promo. Amazon used it to promote their Soundcloud launch.

There is goiing to be more and more of this. IMHO, Billboard needs to get a handle on illegal downloads and include those in their measure of a cd's/songs actual reach.

Radio is a bit more dicey - the people who download illegally may not be listeners.

In the meantime, how do you measure the ratio of popularity of beween something downloaded for nothing and something downloaded for next-to-nothing?

If this is allowed and counted as to chart, then Bllboard should have a different chart for those sold on $1 promo and those given away.
They should be separated from those who sold at regular price, to be fair at least.
