Shoot,those autographs look pretty darn good compared to some other stars' that I have...hope that fans buys a CD next time for BB to sign.
What I detest is these buggers who get Adams autograph and then go flock it on e-bay. If it's not done with love then something is wrong.
I have never understood what monetary value there is on someone's signature...unless it's on a check.....
Sentimental value-maybe-a reminder of a moment-maybe-but I have never asked a celebrity for an autograph and never will. I just don't 'get it'...I sat eye to eye with Elvis and chatted yet it never entered my mind to ask for an autograph or photograph. I guess there is no celeb-itis in my DNA.......JAK
Some stars just naturally sign things after a concert( if you can catch them) If you hand them their CD cover,naturally they will sign those first.( wouldn't you,if you were in the same position?( at least hand BB a poster,one of his T-shirts,etc..IF you don't have the CD cover.)It's a crying shame that there is so much pirating now days!!just awful!
I have several different autographed pictures of Adam that I requested early in his career right after Idol by sending a fan letter to him. In fact, he must have read that first letter I wrote, because he returned it with a comment on it along with his signature and a picture. Each of the pictures had my name on it so I have no intention or reason to sell them. Recently I sent another fan letter along with the album liner notes to be autographed. Hopefully Adam will get it and sign it. I did enclose a self-addressed,stamped envelope as in the past so now I will just have to wait(probably months since Adam has been very busy and traveling) to see if I do get it returned to me. I am a mature woman and not some teenager, and I sent the letter and album notes basically to see if Adam would get it, sign it and then return it. If not, it will not change my opinion of him as the best vocal talent in the music business today. If I do get it returned, I will know that he found the time to read some of his fan mail and to sign the album notes.
I am 12:12pm...Just to let you know that I did receive the album/cd liner notes from Trespassing signed by Adam with my name on it and also the newest picture of him(the one seen on the ad for the Bali New Year's Eve concert)with his signature there also. It took about a month and a half from mailing date to get these so I was pleasantly surprised. Now every time I pick up the cd to play it, I see Adam's signature across the front and it brings a smile to my face.
