On Amazon's best songs of 2012 both BTIKM and Trespassing made it.

@ 8:42 I'd be lying if I said I thought a record of the year nom wasn't a stretch, but your optimism is much appreciated!

cool #48 out of thousands of albums is darn descent.

I'd love to see Adam get the nom for album of the year with Trespassing and also BTIKM for single. He is up against some tough competition as someone stated, but a nomination would be great. Unfortunately talent doesn't always win out in the music business as we have seen.

ADAM LAMBERT's 'Trespassing' Among 'Best Albums of 2012'

Amazon has announced their "Best Albums of 2012," and ADAM LAMBERT's sophomore album Trespassing made the cut!
The CD placed in the top 50 in the "customer favorites" category, which represents the 100 Bestselling Albums of 2012.
This comes as no surprise, given the album had a hugely successful release in May.

Trespassing debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart and #1 on the Billboard Digital Albums chart upon release.
ADAM made history with this achievement as the first openly gay artist to debut at #1.
He has much to be proud of because he is the executive producer for the album

Just think what ADAM could have accomplished if 'radio' had given him as much airtime as the others. He'd be a 'shoo-in' in every category. This is great considering the obstacles ADAM faces here in the USA ... IMO

IMO I think Adam should of been in the top 5 (he probably would have if they only played his music) Is Justin B,NM and the other 47 better singers (What a joke) has bieber ever even written a song, much less ex-produced it same as the clown NM. Oh well- same old same old. At least adam was in the top 50 barely!

I wish somebody would explain to us the reason for ignorance Adam in US!

12:55 Take your pick of reasons. These reasons I list could apply to many other singers, too but many of them have NOT suffered negative consequences from them. Maybe Adam has.

Being gay or at least openly gay
Stigma of being on a singing "competition show"
AMA incident and other "gay" behavior (make-up, etc.)
Not turning out to be the same as he was on Idol
Just too different

The list could be longer, I guess.

Of course he should get a Grammy nom. No brainer. The Grammys is supposed to be more than sales and sheer popularity, but it isn't.

The Grammy people do not completely ignore Adam. Remember he WAS nominated 2 yrs ago, despite all the negative reasons listed above. It's the music that counts and TRESPASSING certainly deserves a nom.

I agree with @DRG's list.
All the glitter and make-up after the AMA, makes him different from his Idol fans' perception.

Adam has learned and adapted. US doesn't mind you being gay - just looking or acting gay. sigh -o-

To a degree I think anon @ 6:53PM might have a point. Acting too gay(whatever that is to people), going to gay bars and parties with those pictures being seen, maybe a bit too much makeup or glitter, some of those sexy moves on stage could be reasons for Adam not gaining the success he so deserves in the music business. But Adam has to be true to himself and what he is, his beliefs, the friends he has had a long time. He has matured, he has adapted to change and usually knows his audience and what he can and cannot do on stage. Have you seen Nicki Minaj, some of the rap artists, even Christiana A. or Madonna, Gaga and some of the antics they pull on stage? Sure they get criticized but continue to sell records and to sell out concerts. So figure it out. I do believe, however, that Adam Lambert will have longevity in the music business and/or some other creative artistic format while a number of today's young, untalented performers will fade into the background as they and their teen fans grow older and move on to some one else.

1:05 yes I am sure you have a list a mile long somewhere.
