Well, I wish Adam's next single or album all the success to fit to be in the panel for all they care about is multi platinum selling artists but radio has to co-operate because how can an artist have hits when it's not heard.

Maybe Idol was encouraged more towards Adam after his insightful twitter review of 'the' movie. hehe

I think Adam's hosting and performances on VH1 DIVAS gave him a lot of credibility (as if he needed it!!!LOL)...nancdruuu2

I'll believe it when Adam announces it. no speculation from me. It's futile, empty conversation and we've already covered it.

anybody got a good joke? bumper sticker?

"My species disappoints me"
"Was Columbus a terrorist or an illegal alien"?
"Try to be informed..not just opinionated"
"God lets me make choices. Why won't his followers"?

very interesting broadcast hope it is true. I would like Adam to have that chance.

I disagree with those who say Idol is a sinking ship because of lower % of ratings compared to previous years.
But it is still has double the ratings than The Voice and XFactor and is still the No.1 rated show on TV.
And right now, the show with this new panel of judges are much better than the Steven and JLo team and I am not referring to Mariah and Randy who can get lost for being useless.
I don't like Nicki but loving her rebuff of both Mariah and Randy for their utter idiotic comments.
Mariah is not worth any penny for her phoniness and Randy should just evaporate, his expiration date has long been overdue.

I like American Idol show that's how I knew Adam and I hope he will the next judge. I don't like Nick either, but I do like Mariah and the rest. About the Voice The only interesting and entertaining thing Is the blind audition, after that is so boring for me. Adam will be the right choice for next season I wish the best for him this year and I hope we can hear his music in the radios, which is much much better than the same crap they play every day.

Just my opinion, but I think Idol has run its course, particularly when they have made it more about the judges than the reason they are there in the first place. I wouldn't want Adam to be a judge in its possible last season. Then the haters would blame it all on him when it went under. Besides, Adam doesn't need Idol. He's got a lot of things going that Idol would simply interfere with. What he needs right now is to be promoted, better than he has been so far.

I'd rather see Adam on The Voice. That show seems to be much more legit than American Idol.

@11:42 AM, Wow! You know everything Adam need. You know him better than he knows himself. Incredible!!

Even though the viewing audience numbers may have gone down on Idol, it seems to me it is the only show of all the reality talent shows that seems to produce winners who make records and become successful. What has happened to the winners from The Voice and the XFactor? Even those who did not win Idol such as Adam, Daughtry, David Cook have done fairly well in their careers. If Adam does become a judge, I will certainly watch each week just to see him. Adam will never be on The Voice unless Adam Levine takes off for one season. Isn't there some silent rivalry between the two Adams? The two women on the panel are annoying in their mannerisms and attitude. Maybe they will be more interesting on the live shows, but for now I am not really interested in the show. The contestants are nothing when compared to Adam and unfortunately I seem to use him as the benchmark for all of them. It seems everyone wants to get into the music business whether they have talent or not as seen in some of the auditions. And until Adam makes an announcement about this position on the panel, it is sheer speculation about what will happen.

I used to love Nikki Minaj UNTIL I saw her and her enormous EGO on Idol. It is SO all about her and not the talent.
I didn't like Mariah until Idol but now I do and I think that she truly cares about the contestants and is moved by their talent or stories.
Love Randy....still.
I think that if Randy stayed and had Adam, then the whole show would change. Adam would be incredible and would offer up such great advice and would be so wonderful to watch! Hope he does it, even for one season. Would be a great way for America and the rest of the world to fall in love with him. Impossible not to once you see him speak.

Well, about Idol, it just seems about the judges every time they have to pick new panel of judges (from around September) all through the auditions process (from January to February).
But as soon as the live show starts, it's all about the contestants.
It was not about the judges from the first batch of judges since we don't know Simon or Randy for that matter when it started.
But from the time of Ellen, to Steven and JLo, its all about the judges until the live show.

The Voice is more about the judges since they compete among themselves as mentors.
But it's only Idol who come up with success or some success (TV roles & Broadway) even to non-winners: Adam, JHud, Daughtry, Archuleta, Aiken, Kellie Pickler, Lauren Alaina, James Durbin, Katherine McPhee, Constantine Maroulis, de Garmo, Ace Young, Fedorov etc.
