This was announced by SM Tickets via its official Twitter and Facebook accounts on Monday.

Originally set on March 1 at the SM North EDSA Skydome, SM Tickets cited "unforeseen circumstances" as the reason behind the show’s cancellation.

I think we all know why they cancelled it!

we do?

I read the article but it didn't say what the unforseen circumstances were. Maybe low ticket sales, I heard when they moved the venue from the original site it was not promoted.

well whatever the cause Maniia is missing out on a good concert.

they moved venues to another location due to another act needing the venue the day before (same day as Adam concert). it was not promoted and poorly managed by local group, nothing to do with ticket sales per se. there was always a question as to whether it would occur as they kept changing the venue, negative nellies can go away.

Philippines is rich as a nation but the problem is that their GOVERMENT is corrupt and they don't share the wealth to the rest of the country......

You only get a job if you are a fresh graduate and earn less....

When u reach 30 plus no one will accept you any longer... Unlike in Western Worlddddddddd!!

Filipinos are smart, giving and very hospitable..... Poor judgement from the local promoters because they are greedy.

Corruption and poor judgment with the local concert organizers. I believe couple of years ago they messed up with Kelly Clarkson's concert. I don't know if she ended up performing there or not. So sad for fans won't get to see Adam.

Poor judgement from the local organizers because they wanted more moneyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!! Crappppppppppp!!!

Filipino fans loves Adammmmmmmmm!!!

Remember 10/10/10!!!??? 16,000.00 and it was sold out.....

Organizers are suckssssssss!!!

This was the one and only article I saw on it,the caption was Adam Lambert AXES Philippine gig!! You can read it! Many raves about the Rhianna cover Adam, different articles praising he sung it at the Korean sold out concert! That Philippine concert was doomed from the start! If they had not moved it, and promoted it properly like they do in Asia, it would have sold well or just promoted it period! Don't know the reason but it very oviious the concert people, promoter's screwed it up! sounds like Adam himself was not going for it, greed is what did it moving it just in case it did not sale out, and sounds like little to zero promotion! If the had not moved it and promoted properly it would have been fine, greed trying make more money moving here and there messed it all up! It all has to be worth it to Adam, he has many people to pay! Someone to say I tho k we know why, this is why the promoter's screwed it up all the way, they love Adam there properly handled would sold very well! Lady GAGA cancelled 21 concerts, supposed to be hip problem, but Wendy W. said low ticket sales! Could very well be her hip problem, people alway's like to Asume what they want, there are many other reasons things do not work out, this is one concert only! No huge deal, except to prople who love Adam and wanted to attend! Are you ok Rose Pedal have not heard from you, I cut down on posting too, to much negativity about the smallest thing! It should be a happy place about Adam! Sue

I'm so ready to be on this concert to fly to Manila next week, so I'm so shock to find out today. Initially, it was supposed to be in Mall of Asia where Adam had a very successful GNT in 10/10/10 of about 18,000.
But there's a conflict with the K-Pop group which follows Adam's concert the next day and they need so much time to prepare the stage.
So, it was hanging for a while until there was an exchange hand of promoters and supposedly it was to be in Smart Araneta Coliseum with 16,000 capacity, I believe. Jessica Sanchez just had a very successful Valentine concert with Colton Dixon as front act.
My contact said that the venue is now at SM North Dome which I don't know anything about and i was told that it was standing room for the highest priced ticket which is at $120.
My guess could be that the 2nd hand promoter is not doing a good job. At the time that the venue was hanging the first time, no ticket was available and no information was given if there's going to be a concert, when and where.
I have to change our plans now and have to ask if tickets are available in HK and availability of seats for flight to and fro. Sigh . . .

I'm so sad that Adam's concert here in Manila was cancelled. I already bought my tickets and getting excited about the Mar. 1 concert. I hope that he will still consider our country in his future concerts, I have waited for this. I also watched the GNT tour last 10/10/10, and there was a big crowd.

I feel so heart broken when i heard the news. I've waited years just to see him live..i hope someday i will be able to fly to a nearby country where promoters don't suck..:(

Maybe some Manila fans would like to have a group tour to HK to see Adam's concert and stay for two nights? Anyone from there would like to lead this group and meet somewhere? Please let us know.

@Bing - My heart goes out for you! You are one of the most gracious, friendliest & loving Adam fan I've come to know (through blogosphere). So hoping things will change and you will be able to see Adam (maybe in HK?)!
I wish the same for all Adam fans from the Philippines.

Hopefully Adam sends a video to you guys...

Jessica S. is from the Philippines I do believe so of corse she got great treatment! Sound like Adam should take some legal action against some of these people! Adams music has done quite well there, and he has many fans! This is so sad for the people who wanted to see him so badly! I know he is quite popular there, this is a shame! Concert greed, seems to be the problem! Seem like people fought to get tickets and could not get information! I don't understand what was meant about there was just standing room, left at120, was that the concert he cancelled? JS is just off Idol and I believe from the Phil. So sure she got better treatment, I would think if they could not give a native of the country good concert treatment, they would be out of business! They seem to give better treatment right off Idol! This is criminal and I feel really sorry for those people who were trying so hard to see Adam! I hope somehow you get to! Adam a great guy but, business is business he has a groupe of people to support !

Breaking news: Adam Lambert's Trespassing World Tour in Manila concert has been cancelled.

pollyness ‏@pollyness
@texshellbell the promoter was shit. fucked-up the venue, no relevant promo done for the show, nothing. it's just really frustrating tbh.

pollyness ‏@pollynessi
knew things were fucked up the moment they shuffled venues between diff promoters w/o any semblance of promo.let it be known that whatever bullshit daly and SM try to weave abt this, this isnt abt ticket sales.they have been fucking w/ us since Dec.

Alex A. ‏@YumeOhEight
