what fun those kids are, that was such a clever idea with the face paint and I loves the heart with the hands a few days ago. I am going to steal their ideas someday.

Cute! I'm sure Adam loves this type of fan! I love all the mugging he does now with his fans.
Can Adam get any more adorable? Gini :)

LOL. Apparently I am not a good enough fan as I'm never painting my face like that :)

@2:34
A 'good fan' is one that promotes Adam to the max and share his music with everyone 24/7. Well, that's my belief.

Adam is the cutest guy and I'm sure he's feeling all the love. Those great fans are deserving of a picture with our sweet boy. There's a lot of love for Adam all over the world! So happy for him!.nancdruuu2

Do you know who's the rather gorgeous looking guy with long hair that has the honour of sharing the elevator with the Mighty AFL...

glitzylady said...

Nope, I don't..wondered that myself (he's very very cute!!!) ..And I just noticed that Ashley had Terrence's twitter name wrong in her tweet...

Apart from Adam, there's a really good-looking guy in that clip.

The other guy is probably Terrance's boyfriend who is traveling with them in Japan.

Ok, I'm into my early morning GUSHING over the new pix and the vid of Stay/Underneath. The elevator vid is hilarious and that guy who MAY be Terrance's boyfriend is gorgeous! I LOVE the pix on glitzy's list of Adam, esp. the Trespassing banana coming out of his neck!!!! This show looks like it was fantastic. The venue seems like it was pretty large. Can't wait for all the vids.

INTERESTING ARTICLE: In my Chicago Trib today, I read a long article about Josh Groban and his new #1 album and his attempts to expand his fanbase. ADAM IS BRIEFLY MENTIONED. Both Adam and Josh have worked with Rob Cavallo, who Josh just worked with on his new album. The article is about Josh trying to expand his fanbase, making choices about his style and how much he is willing to change it up. Sound familiar? Josh does lots of covers, but he has successfully gained new fans and his sales are very high. Just thinking of ADAM, of course, and his own future. I realize that Josh and Adam are very different (other than both having killer voices) but this article is really good. The writer's tag is miwood@tribune.com. I'm sorry I don't know how to post it, but maybe someone else can.

Here's to the rest of Adam's fabulous WAG tour. Lovin' every minute of it.

I think this show is very good. Has gone over very well in Korea and Japan. I like it much better than GNT actually.

Here's the article about Josh Groban you mentioned above. I found it in the LA Times, but same article.. REALLY interesting..and yes, an Adam Lambert mention. Very cool! Considering that there are some pretty major names listed throughout the article...

Even for those not interested in Josh Groban, the article gives insight to current music trends..etc..

I'm a fan of Josh Groban, by the way...

From LA Times Music Blog
By Mikael Wood, Los Angeles Times
February 23, 2013, 8:00 a.m

"Josh Groban keeps rocking the boat
The creamy-voiced singer has been venturing from his early semi-operatic sound. His latest album, 'All That Echoes,' points toward arena rock. And scales the charts.

http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/music/posts/la-et-ms-ca-josh-groban-20130224,0,1391171.story

Excerpt: [Adam mention: In first three paragraphs of fairly long article: Score!!!]

"Earlier this month Josh Groban's "All That Echoes" knocked Justin Bieber's new album out of the top spot on the Billboard 200, and that's not the crooner's only incursion into territory normally reserved for pop stars.

The crossover artist's latest release features material by Stevie Wonder and Jimmy Webb, while a deluxe edition available at Target adds Groban's take on the Dave Matthews Band's frat-house staple "Satellite." The album's producer? Rob Cavallo of Green Day and Adam Lambert fame.

"Rob told me, 'Make your wheelhouse bigger. You have more in you than you think you do,'" Groban, 31, said recently over coffee in West Hollywood."

Japan Loves Adam & Adam Loves Japan!!!

glitzylady, Thank you so much for posting the article. It relates SO well to what Adam is going through and to what we talk about so much on this site. I encourage everyone to use the link to read the whole article. It puts a lot into perspective. Adam is certainly not the only singer faced with the dilemma of staying "true" but at the same time expanding his fanbase in order to survive in the business. Josh G. is so talented, but felt the need to go beyond his standard boundaries to create a new and different sound and a larger audience. It worked. We'll see where Adam goes in the next few years. It takes more than sheer talent. It takes strategy and risk-taking.

Please read the article, Glamberts.

Just to add, Adam has worked with Rob Cavello, of course, just as Josh has. Rob gave Josh encouragement to get out of his old zone and move ahead. I pray that Adam works with producers int he future who challenge him and push him to try new and different things. It's not "selling out" or "not being true to yourself" all the time. It's stretching your self creatively, too.

@DRG
Yes, absolutely agree, we all would be well advised to read the article. Its a dog eat dog world out there in the world of music and those artists who are doing well have found their niche but also must keep on top of the what's happening, what's being listened to. And perhaps expand their horizons into other genres and directions. I have a feeling that Adam will be doing exactly that with his next album/music. Josh Groban and Adam Lambert have two of the best singing voices out there right now and I'm a fan of both. And I wish them both great future success. I have all of Josh G.'s albums, because he can SING...and sing well... Just like another true singer that we all know and love...

Josh has had some high profile non singing gigs like co guest histing Kelly Rippa (before new permanent cohost MS) & such

I agree, glitzlady. As for pure vocal talent alone, Josh Groban and Adam Lambert are my two favorites.

I cannot tell you how many times I have made reference to the record business today as dog eat dog cut throat , but it alway's has been that way, but continue's to go more and more down that path! Adam know's that a lot better than we do. It is his career he the one that must make all the decisions,I thank you for the article. but Adam is the one that had to choose that path, he does want to stay true to who he is. I Do believe Adam is willing to bend and do what it takes to make it in the record business! Right now I think he testing out different kinds if music on the concert's that people seem to respond to the most, like stay, underneath and other types, to maybe see what direction to take the biggest part of the album! I also think he should also alway's throw in a couple of Rick pop type songs! Yes I think Rob C. Would be a great choice for Adam, he knows him and did a good job on FYE! Adam has learned a lot from this album, most important single placement, and letting people producer's help him more not doing so much himself! Whatever it is Adam putting the album together, Trespassimg was a good album, I listen to it more in my car than FYE except I play WEFM constantly, and IIHY, I love those two songs and man on the new ones! I do hope Adam knocks out a few killer ballad's that really show off his vical's! You also do that with songs with a Rick edge! I know some here do not like dragon attack I love it, it Jusy shows his voice off so well, a couple out and out Rock song's, would please the ROCKBERT'S but it all in Adam and RCA'S hands! I do think 19 being out of it, will help a lot. Ibut, Adam tried to change for Trespassimg, he got to be himself but stil can and find the right formula of songs, hopefully please the ever changing opinions of fans and pleases that damn radio! I just do not express myself as well as DRG and other's do sure no one thinks I am right, but that my unimportant opinion! I think Adam has already been in talks with various producer's, experience is the best teacher and he now had that! Think this album going to be all that he can do to please the masses and still be Adam! Sue

One singer that blow me is Shirley Bassey at Oscar night. I had no idea who she was until Oscar night. I read her wiki page and watched her videos on youtube. For a 76 years old her voice is out of this world. I downloaded her greatest hits. She isn't huge star here in US. That's according to her but her concerts are always sold out. Reading this reminded me of Adam that radios here in US don't play his music but his live concerts attract huge crowds. Just imagine we can enjoy his beautiful voice for the next 45 years. I will be going to his concerts with my grand kids. LOL!
