I don't understand why they copied Adam. Blaine could have had a different kind and color of jacket.
Should have been different or they could have Adam on the episode doin it right!

I agree I think they should have Adam in an episode.... but I was kinda excited to see any reference to ihim ie.... Jacket Queen song .....I have a felling glamberts will let them know Adam should be on or at least a mention of who rocked the jacket .... as for why they copied him.... he's most amazing fantastic gorgeous talented sexy rock god ever .... who better to copy .... rose Petal

I think it's great that Glee chose to give a nod to Adam - they know that we'll recognise the famous red jacket! It's a COMPLIMENT that Adam is considered a fabulous male diva in the theatre world as well as the music world. Be happy for Adam and his red jacket!!

I thought Blaine did a great job copying Adam. It was highest form of flattering .. After all. we Glamberts have been seen in a ton of glitter ,studs, boots etc. to mimic our gorgeous Adam.

Just went to the Diva link and commented about Adam.

Blaine did fine. I'm sure the Glee folks have heard from a number of Glamberts by now. Hope the G's have been polite with their "reminders" about Adam's connection to this episode.

I'm sure Ryan Murphy is giving a nod to ADAM because there's no mistaking Blaine is channeling him with that Elmo jacket, singing Queen's Don't StopMe Now and referencing the line "a male can be a diva".

I just would love for the non-Adam fans out there who watch Glee to understand the Adam connection. If the show doesn't mention it, then the Adam connection gets lost to many viewers. Hope the word got out in a good way, not a whiny, complaining way.

This Glee show looks very amateurish compared to the real thing with Adam and Queen.

re: "This Glee show" - it's a tv series about HIGH SCHOOL - so yes, supposed to be "amateurish", but really, for high school, it's pretty effin' amazing. It's a fun series, lots of drama and humour and hits the mark for a lot of teens.

Not to be mean, but imho, imitation that is not forthcoming as to its source is far from flattery. Acknowledging the Adam Diva would have allowed us to delight in Glee for the copycat episode, and given them a pass for an imitation that suffers massively by side by side comparison to the original. As it stands,
Glee's lack of attribution makes it a parody, or worse, plagiarism. Glee, please own up to the omission, give credit where it's due, and make it up to us Glamberts with an Adam appearance on the show. Thank you in advance. atm

I've watched Glee from the onset and the vocal talent is impressive. I also like the cdsfrom the many episodes. Lea Michel has stated that she would love to sing with Adam. I would love to see and hear it. Adam wears the re jacket with attitude and flair. He's a seasoned showman and it shows. The Glee red jacket wasn't a Blond expensive creation, but served the purpose and we Glamberts got the reference. Pretty clever on their part.I'm sure they knew we would tune in...

When paying tribute by channeling, there's no need to mention the name because it is presumed most viewers already know it.
By not mentioning the name of ADAM, it means he is THAT famous, any more declaration is unnecessary.
The tribute itself is an acknowledgment of him.
BTW, I heard through the grapevine that a new Glee character who would be the new crush of Kurt shall be called ADAM.
I don't know if it's true or has already appeared because I don't follow Glee.
