Wow! Glitzy! Great Wild Thing Video.
Last Thursday we had a panel of 10 teens from BGLAD at our PFLAG meeting. BGLAD provides an opportunity for teens to meet once a week. Some of these teens were telling about their parents rejecting them when they came out etc. It was not a happy night, except that we are coming up with concrete ways to help and support them. They were such brave kids to come and talk to us. One of them said, “ I was listening to Adam Lambert on the radio and my dad said if he didn’t turn out to be a (word that rhymes with maggot) he would have been the American Idol.” People reacted to the dad’s uncaring, ignorant remark, but I was thinking, “What? You heard Adam Lambert on the radio in the Seattle area?...Was this recently?” I refrained from asking that question, though.
There’s still a lot of work to do. There will be a rally gathering at the Federal Building this Wednesday in Seattle. This will be happening all over the USA. We are trying to convince the Supreme Court to make the right decision. I think they will at least overturn Prop 8 for Californians. Yay for Adam and Sauli. My friend’s sign is “Supremes….Please do the rightS thing!” I hope Adam knows how much he has helped these kids. He is beautiful inside and out.

Rewatching videos of the WAG tour, I am in withdraw right now lol! What a great tour!!! So excited to hear new music eventually and see what direction Adam goes in. His voice is so gorgeous and he can sing any type of music so what ever he wants to do is fine by me. Just please let radio play it so he gets a hit and therefore a huge next tour!

I like the second pic more. That look makes me drool. I just like him better without makeup and a little bit scruffy.

Haha, I realized afterwards that I should have said I envy her, but I don't envy fans who get to meet him. I'm happy for them. We have come a long way, since in the beginning the glamberts were not so willing to share Adam.

I've met him (for about 5 seconds..) and feel VERY fortunate...but I still envy her simply because she's standing there next to Adam...It's a REALLY good place to be :))))

@lmb, Tonight there will be a demonstration for gay rights at Marshall Park in Charlotte and I will be there to support and encourage the Supreme Court's decision to do the right thing and support equality. It also supports the importance of separation of church and state and how it should never interefere with anyone's right to personal freedom imposing biased discrimination. America is a diverse nation and all people should be free to enjoy and benefit from the same legal protections without any groups imposing their beliefs and depriving anyone of basic equality and right to happiness. This is an important test of the integrity of our country's true meaning of freedom and equal opportunity for personal quality of life. It will not impact or affect anyone personally or financially that has their equal right to believe what their religion teaches. They have their freedom to live their lives also as they choose, just not the right to deprive others. @ Gitzylady Thanks for the "Wild thing" video! It's my inspiration of the day!
