I watched half of the show just because I enjoy looking at Sauli. I've decided I want to adopt him too.....jak

Sauli is so cute, it's easy to see why Adam is so taken by him. I enjoyed watching the show even if I couldn't understand a word they were saying.:)

One of the things that I know that Adam likes about Sauli, is that when you are talking to him, he looks you straight in the eyes. Adam has mentioned in past interviews that when he talks to anyone , He wants eye contact with them.

Cooking show was so funny...he was telling that eating in restaurants in Finland is much more expensive than in the US. He had those framed photos with him and he explained those; Adam´s gig backstage, sunbathing by the pool, posing in front of the Hollywood sign:)

He said he has met Elton John and Katy Perry ( he named her Kati Päärynä in Finnish...Kati=Kate in Finnish...päärynä=perry in Finnish:) As down to earth as he is, he lives regular life in LA. He likes to eat healthy and loves meat. He was anxious to see how the host would prepare the meat he brought with him:) He prepares meals every day:) He also wishes that he could fly directly from Finland to LA, but usually he has to switch planes in London or Amsterdam. He once flew first to NYC and said that it was rough and he was very tired. This is only a snippet what they were discussing...but just a little bit info for those who don´t understand Finnish:)

Wilma, thank you so much for explaining this for us, I find Sauli quiet charming, it also sounds as if he is now feeling more at home with the LA lifestyle.:)

Wilma thank you for the translation. Even if i don't understand I too like watching Sauli,his mannerisms are very sweet and he radiates happiness like Adam does!

Thanks for the translation of some of the cooking show. It looked like fun. Even though I can't understand what Sauli is saying, it is obvious that whoever he is with is enjoying the heck out of it, usually laughing and joking around. He, like Adam, is very talkative and is an interviewer's dream guest, always thinking and speaking intelligently and never leaving a bunch of dead air in the conversation. Good humor, too. I can certainly see why Adam and Sauli get along so well.

JAK here....... Moi. Wilma.....we do appreciate having a translator, we don't get very far with the 4 or 5 words of Finnish we've picked up! :-)

Moi JAK:) Hey.. now you at least know what perry is in Finnish:)

They made peanut butter/peanut/raisin pieces for dessert...kept it in freezer about 45 minutes. Sauli said he doesn´t usually make dessert, but loved those pieces ( peanut butter= maapähkinävoi, peanut=pähkinä and raisin= rusina

3 more words for ya:)

Well I understand that Moi means hello in Finnish but that's about it for me, I think it would be a very hard language to learn or at least it might take some time to learn it. I did some research on Helsinki yesterday just out of interest with Adam and Sauli being there, it's such a beautiful city, I'd love to visit some day.

@12:50 pm

It´s been said that Finnish is a hard language to learn...lots of hard consonants which might sound like cursing to a foreigner:DD but the easy thing is you pronounce the words as written:) and welcome to Finland!

okay...now I sound like a Finnish teacher or a travel guide:DD...and I`m neither:D

Sauli seems to be such a great person to live with. He seems so even tempered and doesn't chew his food with his mouth open :).

Sauli is also a fire cracker (Adam´s words) and good for him:) Nobody steps on him! Adam loves that quality as well:) I think they balance each other:)

Being of Finnish descent, I am very interested in the language. Years ago in college my language teacher told me the closest languages to Finnish are those from the South Pacific. It has been years I've tried to figure the connection between northern hemisphere Finnish and southern hemisphere Pacific Islanders. Finnish language is nothing like it's neighboring Russian or Swedish, but all three languages are spoken in Finland. Amazing to me.

@2:03 PM
That's fascinating, languages can be so interesting not just the pleasure of learning something new but the origin as well.
