Dan Hewitt should arrange a couple of oriental tunes for Adam in his next album, since China seems to be the most potent to launch Adam big-time onto the fierce music arena. And maybe get a hit to beat the current 1-billion record holder. Yes it can be done with Adam's sifu capacity coupled with sharp business strategy. Adam...Aim! Bull's-eye!

Such an awesome performance at the Chinese Music Awards. It's made a very ordinary day turn it to something very special. I love that he chose to sing Trespassing and Naked Love - Trespassing fierce and Naked Love such an upbeat, happy song. I hope everyone at the event enjoyed it to the max. It must've been the highlight of the event.
Whoopsie daisie .... should be turned into, not turned it to ..... more haste, less speed!
Hi 11:38 PM-the old English teacher is here to inform you that "into" would be incorrect to use in your sentence. It should be "in to" something very special.
Make a list of your nutrition chart involving juice and fruits at the
top followed by green vegetables and milk products. The reason this is important is because you will have a stronger knowledge base and bag of tricks to keep you going on
the rougher days. Nothing is more motivating than seeing physical proof of results.

Haven't had time to read all the latest threads. Did Adam's China Award and huge acknowledgement create any headlines or stories in US?

Beg to differ. I'm also an English teacher and I was an A Grade English pupil.
Oooops! No this isn't old pic sorry, this is second time they met. JJ can't speak Chinese. Fans asking questions on his instagram.
Wrong thread :)
vote for Adam Lambert:
World's Best Entertainer of the Year

World's Best Male Artist

Thanks 6:15 for the voting links. I voted on both. I hope we get good support for Adam on these polls. Lots of big names are on there, and it would be great for him to do well. Looks like you can only vote once a day. It only let me vote once on each.
Agree that it would be great for Adam to get more help in pumping up his good Chinese fanbase. His voice was AMAZING at the awards show. Top notch!
Funny "into" "in to" story. My old school principal's name was Dick. When the teachers had to submit items to him (grade forms, etc.), is secretary always sent out a memo that told us to "turn them into Dick." The English Dept. always got a big laugh out of it. Shows how big a difference there is between the two.
To "TURN IN to" means to submit something to someone.
To "TURN INTO" means to become something.
Clark Kent's news stories were TURNED IN TO his editor, Perry White.
Clark Kent TURNED INTO Superman.

At my school we were fortunate to have three Dicks in the office.......Dick Kennedy, Dick Foska and Mrs. Dyck the first two were pretty cool VP's but Mrs. Dyck looked and acted like she was at least 100 years old. I will never forget the day when a secretary came on the PA and asked Mrs. Dyck, and the other two Dicks to return to the office immediately. For three years we enjoyed having three Dicks in the office.

It's been noted here many times that the World Music Award thing was fake and never happened.
9:32. You're right. Forgot.
9:32 This look different than the one you are talking about.
12:59 agree with you and happy can vote only once in any category. Fair for all.
thanks for all the dick stories on here. LMAO I am confused when I use a while and awhile and a few others I can't think of now.
While we have English teachers around..which is correct? I use to swim or I used to? I was suppose to go or supposed to? Never get these straight.
I was holding back a lot to not jump in but more and more questions have me baited. lol! Just my one-cent:
used to...past tense, you don't do that anymore
was supposed to go...past tense + past participle
stay awhile...adverb qualifying the verb, stay
stay for a while...noun phrase after preposition, for (awhile...used also)
turn into something else...okay
turn in to...not so appropriate for above context because...the day turns in...can't stand, it's as if the day turns in...like going to sleep; as in I'm turning in for the night.
"made an ordinary day turn into...", not turned into. After the verb, made...follow with an infinitive not a verb.
Lam-my... :)
modifying...not qualifying
an adjective qualifies
an adverb modifies
You all have got me all grammar-striken! lol!
Lam-my
Spelling:... stricken ...lol!

Congratulations to all English teachers on this site! (not me uh I haha). Since most of us are out of school by now, does it really matter?
I'm old school you might say. To me, it's now how you say it, but what you are saying that counts.
Just my two cents. nancdruuu2
I agree with @ nancdruuu2
We should not have Grammar Police who step in and point out grammar errors, especially mine :), but if someone asks like Anon 7:19 did, that's a different story.
I get mad at myself when I sometimes correct my own, whether it's spelling, punctuation or whatever.....I just did it on another thread. IMO I think if what is written is able to be understood.....good enough! We're not in school and teachers are off duty.......unless asked!......JAK
