During the Life Ball song 2013, interpreter Adam Lambert as Ali Baba will come under the spell of the treasure of the 40 thieves, who will accompany his performance by their dancing. The US singer, whose career started off at “American Idol“, is famous for his extraordinary voice, with covers several octaves, as well as his flamboyant-theatrical performances. He was the first openly homosexual pop artist who signed a contract with a major music label in the US.

OMG! I can't wait to see it! Looking at last year's finale, it's easy to see why they picked Adam. Even though his European following isn't as big as US and Asia - it's beside the point. This show requires a powerful stage presence and a huge voice. He is perfect. Bill Clinton and Sean Penn in the audience. It's a biggie and Adam will pull it off. It's televised! the video will be great. Can't wait.

This is Adam's theatrical / glam rock playground. Ali Adam Baba lol! He can also play roles such as Flying swordsman or Adam ninja. lol! I heard if he had not got into AI S8 Top2, he could have been offered the role of Spiderman / Broadway because they needed someone to sing high notes. I can envisage Adam one day in a film musical.

I bet after he does this show he will get a big boost in popularity there. He was born for this. The sortable has Adam name all over it! He will be fabulous, this is his theatrical crowning glory, and to have helped write the song too! Will be spectacular. Lots of big celebrities, president ect. The article makes it sound as though there is a duet and a solo by Adam. It might be an info disconnect. Singing the Life Ball song before the Life Ball would be anti-climactic. Maybe they announce it as a fundraiser - we can buy the song on itunes?

Here's a vid about "Love Wins Over Glamour"...the song from the upcoming Life Ball Gala in Vienna: the vid is starrring Adam of of course!!! Mostly in German..but you get the drift if you don't speak German: "Adam Lambert, America's newest Popstar.." is one of the things said about him.. Shows costumes, etc (Adam isn't in his Ali Baba outfit tho.)..... VERY COOL!! And Adam sings a bit of the song..and speaks...and looks fabulous as usual..

Shows Adam's costume (click on the very elaborate Arrow at right to the second pic..and keep going to see all pics..) but no Adam...The pictures are unbelievable...so LAVISH!! I can hardly wait to see Adam in this production..... The site takes a minute to load... :))
