Yea quite a good AI alumni line-up of judges; but I want Adam to be the chief judge. Don't forget, out of this potential line-up, Adam is the only one who got a standing ovation from Simon who is touted the best judge so take heed from the discerning one who also watched Adam mentor S9; which again none of the other 3 has been through. Adam is the one, most tested and revered AI alumnus. As I've said he might just be the one who could eventually take over the running of the show when everyone has had enough of the 'game'. He's at present the most recognisable in China, who has just launched and embraced the Idol franchise; and Adam will make an effective go-between middleman for further developments if any. The bottomline is Adam has a soft spot for AI; his heart is there, very important! Unlike previous judges who make no bones about the fact they were using it to further their own interests; nothing wrong with that though; business is business. But here comes the genuine brainchild in the form of Adam, heavyweight in more than one sense.

I don't think they are up for the Idol judge position officially. First of all, JHud supposedly has already been signed, Kelly has said she is not interested and even though Adam has indicated he would be interested, he has not been asked. All these headlines and stories are very misleading and although poll numbers on this sight would indicate Adam as the top choice, I don't think it will have any influence on whom the producers decide to select. Adam would make the most sense from many of the reasons already given on other sites or in articles written, but after the Nicki/Mariah fiasco, who knows what the "suits" are thinking. I just read that many of the dates from this summer's Idol tour have been cancelled I suppose due to poor ticket sales. Overall, the top 10 were nothing special, esp. the guys. There is really no special male to capture the female audience. If the new season of Idol doesn't change in some ways including the choice of judges, that may be the end of the road for one of the first talent singing shows. At least it has produced a number of successful artists whereas shows like The Voice or the XFactor really have not. Let's just wait and see what happens.

Adam is such an obvious perfect choice. He has been an unwavering positive ambassador to Idol, defending it on many occasions when interviewers were disparaging it and knocking reality shows as having no credibility and having mediochre talent. Adam is the only one that has had professional vocal training and the diverse talent to give concrete, educated advice. He also built a respected relationship with the staff and crew on Idol, being one of the few to vocally recognize and thank the vocal coaches and band for his arrangements and performances, which the other contestants up to that point had never done. He was and is a polished pro, underestimated for his expertise and experience. Adam also has a tireless work ethic, put together his own sold out world wide glamnation tour, has battled against the inequities of the music machine and altho' being shut out in the US, has persevered worlwide. Fronting Queen was a major accomplishment and honor. Adam is now a seasoned diverse performer that above all has an unselfish desire to see other performers succeed and does his best to promote others when other artists only promote themselves. For me, it's a no- brainer and not because I'm smitten with Adam and respect his ability. He just is the most qualified and deserving.

Truly @funbunn40, it's a no-brainer that Adam is the best choice but I guess Idol TPTB have no brains while most Glamberts do.

This is all still just speculation generated by the media and fueled by fans. But it is free advertising for Adam so it's fine by me.

IMO, this season's top 5 was the most talented since Adam's season. All the girls are very talented.

I can't believe how misogynistic 8:17's comment is. Women don't need an interesting male to lure them to a show or concert.

Adam needs mega votes. Where's the link to vote?

I think there should be someone from the recording industry on the judging panel and someone with a lot of experience in that regard plus Adam, of course!

They didn't fire keith and he has said he would like to return. So there goes the white guy performing artist position. Jennifer Hudson has the alum spot. I don't see a spot for adam the way this is shaping up.

Adam for mentor... Yeah ! more freedom of expression ! Judges sometimes just turn into the spokesperson of the producers...I don't want to see that happen to Adam.I prefer to see Adam bickering with Iovine behind the scenes.

It has been said that Idol has lost a huge amount of viewers. Adam Lambert has a tremendous global fan base, ie, China, Japan and several other countries in Asia. Then there is Australia, Europe, and South Africa. His International fans will watch if he is on. The Glambert family is extremely loyal. Also, Adam has been singing and entertaining long before his Idol days. He'll bring honesty to the table and won't sugar coat his critiques. Very logical choice
