This was very, very nice yes -- and he looks terrific. Now don't get me wrong, I appreciate her having said all this, and she probably just isn't well-informed, but so tired of people connecting Adam solely with Idol at this point -- four years, two main albums plus several additional albums/DVDs, tons of concerts & appearances, Queen, AND one Grammy nomination later. He deserves more than just that he was on Idol.

Alas.

But, again, I 'get' it with some people as this and at least here the intention was completely positive. Now ask me about the media, and I am definitely not so kind -- anyone there who identifies him solely with Idol needs to go back to school.

It says a lot when everyone who meets or works with Adam says how nice and genuine he is. That is why I am such a big fan beside the voice and good looks!

If it weren't for American Idol, we may never have known about Adam. Furthermore, Adam is extremely grateful it gave him the platform to move forward in his career and he has indeed moved forward. It's all good!

I agree with 8:27 PM. I'll always be grateful to AI for giving us Adam. None like Adam and he set the bar so high that I don't watch the show unless Adam is singing.

It seems that everyone who meets Adam always says what a "nice guy" he is. He is the Real Deal as has been stated. We all know how talented he is and if you add his charm, honesty, and intelligence, you have one spectacualr individual. Adam is always true to his beliefs and truly cares about people. You do not read about any "diva" behavior or demands from him as you so often do with other performers. I am so glad I watched Idol that year and Adam was introduced to us as this vocal powerhouse with an amazing stage presence. I will continue to follow his career as he takes us on this exciting journey into superstardom.
