(The talk show host 王自建 ‘Wang’ was talking about what is ‘in’ and what is ‘out’ in his monologue and skits before introducing Adam. The hostess and interpreter 陳璇 ‘Chen’ later came out also as co-interviewer. Unfortunately the interview was edited so the interpretation part got cut out, along with some of the interview.) Wang: As a superstar I seldom took pictures with other stars, because that is so OUT! But there is such a person that I not only took pictures with him but also followed him around the globe and went to every one of his concerts. Why? Because I want revenge! Because he promised something that he didn’t fulfill! So I invited this person back to our show. He is my old friend, the American Superstar, rock ‘n roll superstar: ADAM LAMBERT!

Wang: ADAAAAAAAAAMMMMM! Nice to see you again!
Adam: I like your jacket! Style!
Wang: Again?

Adam: And the feather duster here. We can clean the set with that you know?
Wang (turned to Chen for interpretation): What did he say?
Chen: You are better off not knowing. (turned to Adan) right? (to Wang) Let it go.
Wang: OK. Welcome Adam again to Tonight Post 80’s Talk Show!
Wang: Honestly, this show is being very nice to you fans, right?
Audience: Yeahhhhhh!
Wang: And we are very nice to Adam, right?
Audience: Yeahhhh!
Wang: Tell him to be thankful of our show.
Chen: He is saying we’ve been very good to you and your fans here. So do you want to show your appreciation? Just a little bit?
Adam: I LOVE YOU GUYS!
Audience cheered and screamed.
Adam: Thank you so much for being here. That was fun!
Wang: As we all knew, and you all witnessed it; we gave Adam a Chinese jacket, a rock ‘n roll styled Chinese jacket, last time you were on the show. Right? And you said you like it very much.
Adam: I DID like it. Yeah, I still do.
Wang: Really?
Adam: Yeah!
Chen: Yeah, he said he like it always.
Wang: Do you know for the 6 months since then, I always want to see if you ever wear it. So I followed you around the globe and attended ALL your concerts.
Adam: Oh, no no no. It’s such a nice gift I want to save it and keep it, you know…
Chen: You see? I knew it! He is clever!
Adam: It’s hanging on my wall. You know?
Chen: Yes, gifts should be cherished and well-kept. Shouldn’t wear it.
Wang: Let’s look at my evidence. Watch the big screen!

Adam: There you are! You looked great in them. I like how you wear the same jacket. It’s good, it’s good.
Wang: Do you see the disappointment on my face? You really wont wear it? Just put it away? That’s so polite!
Adam: You know what? I wear it at home, all the time.
Chen: Ohhhh, he wore it at home. All the time.
Adam: You know what? It’s all I wear, JUST the jacket!
Chen cracked up, Wang speechless.
Wang: I don’t believe you!

Wang: Since Adam said so, I guess we’ll have to let him pass. But, did you found a phenomenon that when our Chinese fans took pictures with you; they like to cuddle you around the waist?
Adam: Yeah yeah, I noticed that. I like to get cuddly with my fans, you know?

Audience cheered again.

Adam pulled Wang over to cuddle while Wang snaked his arm around Adam’s waist.

Chen: We used to say stars are regular people too, right? Superstars have their hobby too. We heard that you love shopping?
Adam: Too much.
Chen: Too much?
Adam: Yeah, I like it too much.
Chen: So, how about you only have, say, I don’t know, three hundred dollars? And you only can pick one thing. What would you go for?
Adam: It’s too little. So if I only have three hundred dollars I probably only buy an accessory.
Chen: Accessory.
Wang: What kind of ring can you get for three hundred dollars?
Chen: I think you should give him more money.

Wang: Joking aside, today we made a daring decision. We decided to give you another gift! And we will not expect you to bring it to your concerts. You can just keep it well in your home and play with it while you are wearing that Chinese jacket.
Adam: Maybe I will!
Chen: Maybe this time he will bring it with him everywhere!
