Adam Lambert is working with Nile Rodgers again?

VIA Standard.co.uk:

The main reason he’s now playing so often, and another reason for his music being back in favour once more, is a diagnosis of aggressive prostate cancer in October 2010 that made it look like we were going to lose him. He had surgery, and maintained a painfully honest blog called Walking on Planet C. Today he is cancer-free and working harder than ever. When I ask what he’s doing next, he says we would need to schedule another interview to cover it all. Chase and Status, Avicii, Tensnake and Adam Lambert are some of his latest collaborators.

Wondering if it refers to his recent (as in last year: Shady..) or something current. Guess we'll see.............

Nile tweeted a pic of Adam in the studio when Nile was in LA a few months ago. But what exactly they were doing we don't know. The primary reason Nile came to LA was to work with Avicii and Avicii never mentioned Adam. So it's a mystery

Nile Rodgers is a brilliant musician. Can't wait to hear what they recorded recently in the studio! Hope it'll be a hit song that will resonate with everyone!

This particular article refers to Nile's more recent collaborations, meaning his collab with Adam and Sam Sparro for Shady.

No, I don't think it means shady. He is talking about avicii who he is currently working with

11:38 -- You're probably right. Checked out Google for Nile's more recent collaborations and they are indeed 'recent'. Would be great!

Nile had an immediate and positive connection with Adam. He really likes, I think, and respects his talent. I'll bet they will collaborate together again. Let's pray they do!

shady could have had the success of Get Lucky if released properly by rca. It seems like adam is ahead of the curve musically but other forces make the timing 'off' for getting the hit he deserves. Perhaps he appeals more to a sophisticated audience that can understand the subtle complexity of the lyrics.

I read some of Nile's blog a while back about battling cancer. Wow, intense and graphic. But his positive attitude always shined thru. I am so happy to read here that he is cancer free. I didn't know that. Oh My God. Amazing!

Three cheers for lots more new music from the master, Nile!

12.06 I agree I said that too a while back. What a darn waste of a fabulous song.

Shady should have been a big hit. I hope Adam's promotion team has learned how to market him and his music better this time around. TP was full of hits just ready to explode. Nile and Adam could be working their magic together again.
