@5:08 I think some polls are more relevant than others. Maybe People mag could write more about Adam if the fans show more interest. It was the same with the Billboard sexiest poll. Some fans thought it was a stupid poll, but Adam won, and the results got a lot of media attention.

What Clay actually said was that Adam's version of Ring of Fire was contrived, awful and slightly frightening, he thought his ears would bleed! Simon was of a similar opinion as you recall.

Clay later issued a statement " I hope no one actually believed that blood truly poured from my ears when I heard him, I obviously meant it as a colorful statement to imply that I did not enjoy what I heard."

He later suggested that he and Adam sing a duet, that never came to be.

I just voted a bit for the People poll. I agree that keeping Adam's name at the top of all these polls is important, even if the poll itself might be pretty irrelevant. We Glamberts are known for our fierce support, and the last thing we should do is seem like we are letting up on that support. THAT'S not going to happen!! I also voted on the HOTTEST guy. Why not? It's fun. Clay is probably one of the most unappealing people I can think of. I know he can sing. But if he gets the Idol gig over Adam, I will never understand it. Loved the article on IIHY. Love that video. I want MORE!!!!!
