Very kinky! Love that shirt Adam has on. Very unusual but cool, IMO.

I just knew that he would go to see Kinky Boots. Adam did that duet with Cindy Lauper and with the success of this Tony musical, I kind of guessed it would be on is list of plays to see while in NYC.

Very cool that Adam is seeing old friends in all these musicals. He must be having a great time.

Kinky Boots Tony-nominated comedienne Annaleigh Ashford reunites with her Wicked co-star Adam Lambert. The two toured together in the Oz musical as Glinda and Fiyero.

So nice to see that so many of Adam's friends have made it to the Broadway stage. Who knows. If he hadn't been a contestant on Idol, he also might have gone to NYC and tried out for one of the musicals. Maybe one day in the future we will see him appearing in a Broadway musical, either a revival or one written specifically for him in the lead.

These pics kinda made me sad: "Poor, rich kid"! Looks tired. But on the other hand: nice to know that he is enjoying his life and living it to the fullest with friends and strangers.

Adam has one glorious week in NYC, meeting up with old friends and seeing new shows. This all must have been planned back in Feb. You have to get tickets early to get good seats. This whole thing must have been planned just for Adam, without Sauli. He was already single, and planned on having a good time, and not missing any new events, with all the after parties. Also hoping to find a few dates, but probably not jumping in to another relationship yet. When he decided he was no longer in a partnership, he went after his new found freedom, like a kid with a new toy. I wish him luck, cuz love is very hard to find. Lust is easier.

Lol he knows people who get him the seats. He isn't paying for them. The theater always has some extra good seats held back for guests of the production.

He was already single when he was in NYC in February. Sauli just said in in interview today that they split "at the beginning of the year". I think he means Adam's BD-party time (obvious signs).

So, it's quite possible he planned some of the events when he was in NY last time.

Yes, Adam could walk in off the street just before the curtain rises on stage and get a good seat. As a matter of fact, so can just about anyone. There are always seats close to the front of the stage held back for "friends, family" and VIP's every night. My hubby and I have scored great seats numerous times by doing just that. At home in Seattle, in London, and in NYC on Broadway. And sometimes at a reduced price, even better!! We got second row center seats at a popular Broadway show in NYC a year or so ago by simply visiting the box office about an hour and a half before curtain. And at half price. A hint: sometimes people don't want to sit quite so close to the stage at a musical or play so getting seats that close is often possible even at the last minute. That particular theater also had 12th row center seats available but they said they couldn't discount them because they are actually more desirable. We LOVED our second row seats.. and loved the price too. Same thing in London at a "sold out" show. Got in line for "return" seats, ended up 4th row center. We weren't VIP's but felt like it... :))

Sitting front row at a musical or play isn't desirable - way too close and even more so if one is sitting on the side - but a few rows back centre is desirable. I've been to plays and musicals in London and other countries and it's always the same. Sitting or standing front row centre at a concert is highly desirable if one is lucky enough to nab those seats.

I remember enjoying the movie but didn’t know it had been taken to Broadway. Sounds fun!
