I hope the comment about Adam is true.

So where is Jennifer Lopez a fresh judge? She had her time for two seasons and then quit the show. I also hope the comment about Adam is true, but.....

where did these tweets come from?

Not Jennifer Lopez - she was a hopeless judge. :-(
The anticipation continues to build re Adam. :-)

At least we won't have to hear
'They're in it to win it' next season.

Oh F---, still more than a month of this tiresome speculation in almost every f------ thread! Sorry, just so tired of the whole subject.

some of you guys are so much fun-not

Adam deserves a large retainer and a percentage of increase in viewers/ads because if he's there, "they will come" ... that is, providing Idol gets smart and invokes a "no Jennifer" policy. If Jlo returns, we've got some unsavory suspicions ...

@10:41 AM Honey you just spell out what we have to do to please you and make everything fun.

No one is worth $18 million to be a judge on Idol, esp. JLo. She quit when she was on before to pursue other interests. I guess that didn't work out for her so now she wants back on he panel for big bucks and we once again will have to listen to her pointless comments and gushing over some contestant. Who knows what will make Idol a better show. Adam Lambert..maybe, maybe not. It depends on the entire panel as a cohesive group that likes each other and has something constructive to say to help the contestants in pursing a music career. If you are an Adam fan, of course, you would like to see him as a judge. Others may not feel the same way and would just look for something to criticize about him. It will be interesting to see whom they finally select as it may be the last year for Idol as some seem to think.

Jennifer Lopez ....... NO NO NO!!! She was hopeless as a judge. Perhaps she's missing all the attention and wants the pay check Mariah received. She'll fail again and be a total waste of money.

So, if the judges wont be announced until September, who exactly is doing the auditions that are happening now? And would Adam have the time to be able to do both AI and Glee? I'm not sure how the time frame for filming goes. I know AI goes live in January, but what, as I said, about the audition part of it?

The contestants go thru' 3 rounds at one month intervals before being seen by any of the judges. My next door neighbor made it past the first round when they were in Charlotte, but lost out in Atlanta. I still have a faint glimmer of hope, but the audience that votes still are partial to country artists that are squeaky clean and safe. Don't know what they were thinking with Nicki Minage. They just don't pay attention to our requests and preferences. Ditto too, DRG. The Jennifers do nothing for me.

Just a comment or two (getting caught up here).

I MUCH prefer Jennifer Lopez over Mariah. I like both as performers. I don't dislike Mariah, I just didn't think she was effective as a judge. I have JLo's latest album and play it often. I don't get those comments about her lack of talent, etc. But to each his own. I also thought she was relatively fine as a judge. I've watched every season of Idol since Season 7 (David Cook). I really miss Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul. I also lovvvved Steven Tyler. He may not have been the greatest judge, but I thought he brought a great sense of fun to the panel. And they all got along.....

Last year was truly awful. I like Keith Urban. Nikki Minaj, on the other hand, while I do like SOME of her music, was my least favorite judge EVER.

I suppose we all have our favorites and opinions, but I am hoping the judging panel this time around is a whole lot better than last season, or Idol will be officially dead to me and to the viewing public. Guess we'll soon see. I would love to see Adam on there as a judge, not only for my own selfish reasons (Adam on my TV twice a week...or three times with Glee.....) but because I truly believe he'd be a great judge...And it would be a huge boost to his career via massive visibility. But not too optimistic at the moment. But then again, who knows..

J.Lopez is talentless and Carey is too much into herself. Tylers comments to the girls young enuf to be his granddaughers were beyond creepy. Only recent judge I have liked was N. Minaj. AI is a sinking ship and IMHO should be put out of its misery. . . . Adamluv

@Adamluv
LOL! Well, we at least we agree on one thing: Idol is probably on it's last legs, and unless a miracle happens this season, it could be the end of it....... RIP AI....
