Cuties! Adam's boots!!!:)

San Diego was my first live concert. An out-of-body experience. Videos do not do justice to the energy, vocals and fun that Adam brings to a performance. I also learned what an awesome group the Glamberts are - they sold out the Hilton Del Mar and were so warm and welcoming to the "virgins" in attendance. Life is wonderful, indeed.

I finally met Adam before the SD concert tonight . I was not able to get A M&G {I"m never lucky that way} So I wrote a letter to my former 5th grade student last March {Jesse Lozano, the on-air personality for 94.1 FM morning drive here in SD} and told him I how much I wanted to meet Adam. Long story , short---Jesse was able to make it happen and tonight was the night!!!!
All I can say is Adam is the sweetest man. I was prepared to be mesmerized by his beautiful eyes -but it was his captivating smile that took my breath away as I walked towards him. In some ways it all seems like a blur because I only had seconds to be with him and have my picture taken with him. But I knew I HAD to say something to connect with him in some way sooooo-even though I really knew it was useless to prepare anything beforehand, I introduced myself by saying, "HI, Adam ,I'm Lorraine and then I uttered {from the most genuine part of me} "You have a special place in my heart,always." He seemed touched by what I said, put his hand to his chest and said, "What a sweet thing to say. Thank you." Next thing I knew, the photographer clicked away and I walked away with Adam saying'"Enjoy yourself, tonight."
And here I am, sitting at my computer at almost 2AM on the west coast, unable to go to sleep until I have shared this all with you. Adam makes us all feel so connected---and a wonderful greeting to funnbunn whom I met at last, at the concert -literally minutes after my meeting Adam!!!She is as lovely as all her writings have revealed over the past years on this site.
Finally, a wonderful THANK YOU to my darling daughter, Heidi, who helped make this night one I will always treasure.

Kind of missing the back up singers. Brian isn't great at that.

Love the pic and Adam's boots!! I prefer Brian backing Adam than the usual back-up singers. He does a good job & he's not in Adam's face.

I don't miss the back up singers....but I don't like Brian joining in, he often sounds off.

Don't need backup singers and dancers. They just distract. Adam interacting with band more is so much better. Tommy Joe was awesome, and as always pretty. Great job Adam. This is the right combo.

Fantastic concert as usual. Adam was his talented self, Tommy Joe so awesome and Brian, Ashley and Rick, what a great group of musicians. Can't wait for new songs but until then I continue to watch all the concerts. I just love these people!!!

They are maybe a great group of nice people, they are not great musicians, just barely adequate. Adam needs a real band.
