It has taken me several hours to be able to post here, because this is just flipping awesome and I have just been too excited.

He is multi-talented and he is showing it. This is just the beginning of great things to come for Adam. Which most of us here have been saying all along!

I wonder if the rumor about a 80s album may be related to him being on Glee. Glee does all covers, maybe he will be doing 80s music on Glee and release some music he does on his album.

I am so happy, I just may go out and celebrate tonight!

@NKlovesAdam.....JAK here......When husband went out the door with grocery list this a.m. He asked woefully "are we having any goodies this week?" I usually say "no", this time I surprised him, "sure....get any kind of ice cream you want, choc. syrup, nuts, and pineapple or bananas.....we'll have a sundae tonight!" "Diabetes be damned!" He nearly passed out from happiness..........I'll be celebrating Adam's news (silently) and husband will be celebrating ice cream.
Of course we'll be very good and just have a salad for dinner....can't go too crazy! We will stay in and celebrate!

Now we know why Adam has been to clubs a lot lately, he has been celebrating his own good news. I guess he is a good actor after all, cuz we sure didn't know anything about this. And more good news to come. We all thought we knew all about Adam, we knew his shoe size, his favorite guilt food, his type of under wear, what he wears in bed, (or doesn't) and a zillion other things. We also (wrongly) thought he could keep a secret, so we have been blind sided , but it feels good. He knew this was coming, some months ago, obviously, but nothing had been signed. I think all this has a lot to do with his split with Sauli, he knew his career was taking off in all directions, and couldn't see how he would have the proper time for a relationship. He is right. they took it slowly and gave the fans time to get used to the idea, and for themselves too. I thought it was odd that after separating they still wanted to be close friends, now all the pieces of the puzzle are all fitting into place. They have hinted that we still have a couple of pieces to fit in yet.

Where are the guys from a few threads back who insisted Adam's career was over? You know the ones holding a wake over his body. I have one thing to say.

This news just validates what I have been saying all along. He has been looking for an acting or theater role and not working on new music. I'm glad he got something, and I hope it is a good role and he does well. I'm happy for him and rooting for him.

Yes, lots of positive media attention and reaction to Adam joining the Glee cast. It's all good news and there may be more to come. What a welcome story to hear in comparison to the immature, disgusting actions of JBieber, the bucket and his vile comments about Clinton. Sometimes recognition and success go to one's head and actions such as Justin's lately just show how immature he still is. Too much, too soon. And someone like Adam who is so multi-talented has to fight against the odds it seems to achieve success in the music business.

As long as Adam is happy, I'm happy. I want the best for him to create whatever he likes, music, acting, song-writing, singing. But happiness is much important than anything else in the world. I want his heart to be filled with joy. Love him and always support him. Can't wait until September 19.

Probably not, but I like your thinking! And Debbie Downer, covers are not a career killer. Just ask T. Bennett; R. Stewart; D. Bowie, R.U.N. DMC, I could go on, but you get the idea. I personally would kill for some Ratpack covers, because back then, there was no such thing as autotune and Adam could do them better. Although I looove me some Adam doing "Sandman", too!

We don't know exactly what Adam is up to. He has been saying he isn't saying. Good for him, we don't need to know anything until Adam is ready to tell us. I think the Glee role is a great thing and it is the only way I see the cover album rumor being a good thing, as part of the usual Glee releases. Doesn't mean I'm being negative about the exciting Glee news, just my opinion on the rumor.
