Adam stated, Whew, folks are all heated about this. Hilarious. I didn't state weather or not I liked the performance. I merely said she was having fun and to cut her some slack.
Justin Timberlake defended her...Selena Gomez said she actually liked the performance...
And yet Adam still gets called on it even though he didn't state whether he liked or dislike the performance.
Is the the press good for him? Could be I suppose if the reporting headlines would be less sensational. Adam is showing empathy...something that is almost lost on most. I highly doubt he enjoyed the performance but he understands the double-standards (first hand) and I suspect he was merely trying to remind peeps without coming right out and pointing fingers -- that her antics were not the worst we've seen, nor will they be the worst we will ever see. I'm not condoning Miley's performance --- it was a train wreck -- but I have to commend Adam for trying to impart some human feelings in this inhumane world of social media.
If Miley apologised for her performance then of course I would show her some empathy and understanding but how can you empathise with someone who is obviously unashamed and not the least bit concerned about her performance or what others think of her. As far as Adam sticking up for her he's entitled to his opinion but I don't have to agree with him or with anyone else. I'm not easily swayed and like to think for myself and I really believer Miley's performance was cheap and nasty, I'm sure has the talent to do better than this.
I think this is all about the fact that Miley was a Disney Princess. Look at what Rhianna and JLO are doing constantly on stage. They are praised to the limit and JLO is being brought back as an Idol judge again! As for Alan Thicke, he's pulling a Justin T. and acting totally blameless in the fiasco. Remember Justin T. did the same thing with the Janet Jackson nipplegate. Only hetero males get away with this kind of thing. Gays don't obviously.sigh nancdruuu2
Where's his fallout from this? I didn't see him 'backing away' from controversy.
Ah yes....I'm beginning to see the light. Hetero men don't have to answer to anyone. They can beat up a woman....get caught with cocaine....be a 'hand' in a wardrobe malfunction....pee in a bucket....rap about raping women....write about and act-out disrespectful lyrics with half-naked women..AND then there are the 'divas'....they can do no wrong.
Not happy with Miley's performance but if she has to endure the wrath then so should everyone I listed...hasn't hurt their careers. Probably won't hurt Miley's either.
But Adam gets pounced upon because he made a non-judgemental statement??
10:39 All great points! The rules apply to some but not to others. Adam obviously has to abide by different rules, and his "punishments" are different. We forgive the same behaviours in some people but not in others. Sigh.
Whether these celebrities like it or not they do have a responsibility towards their younger fans, to set a good example, sadly though they seem to think it's ok to entice young people into thinking that this sort of behaviour is ok, well it will back fire on them, those who have longevity in the business don't need to stoop to this level. I thought JT's performance was great and Bruno Mars.
DRG You talk of forgiveness, but how can you forgive someone if they show no remorse for their actions! If they act defiantly then clearly they haven't learnt anything.
Adam really has to learn to stay out of these very controversial arguments. The boy can not keep his mouth shut. How many of these dastardly performers stood up for Adam when he had his AMA fiasco? If Adam thinks his sympathy for Miley will get him more respect, he is wrong, in my humble opinion. I truly am a great fan of Adam, he is part of my every day life with his sites. But, I believe as someone else said, because he is gay, he is the one that gets called out with his opinions. You know, after Miley's nasty dance, I prayed in my heart that Adam would keep his mouth shut. I want to add one more thing;I have traveled many places in the world and have seen soft porn on the stage in operas and during shows in many Latin countries. Some things people can accept, but nasty is not quite 'as swallowed' by societies. Adam is too naieve;a few more good knocks from the two-faced entertainment world, of which he is such a part, may finally teach him SILENCE!
11:01 AM I'll tell you why because Adam has learn't to tone things down, I also believe that although Adam tried to justify his AMA performance back in 2009, he stated in an interview that his intention was not to offend anyone and he was very sorry if they felt offended. He explained how he was caught up in the moment. Adam at least made an effort to be considerate towards his fans who may have felt uncomfortable about his performance. He admitted that maybe he took things too far, I really admire Adam for his words and concerns for his fans feelings. In my book Adam is a good guy but Robin Thicke and Miley sadly don't appear to want to do the decent thing as Adam did which speaks volumes about the type of people they really are.
Adam "Can't Stop" either - right Miley.(haha) It's who he is and he probably considers Miley as being bullied. I love Adam for being the person that he is. Miley used bad taste but she didn't kill anybody (or beat them up!)for God's sake! Phewwwww, nancdruuu2
It is seldom applied, equitably, where artists are concerned. If it were, more artists would be suffering as a result of their actions...low album sales....cancelled television appearances...much like the Adam Lambert fallout following the 'youknowwhats'.
Sadly...I'm sure the networks are tripping all over themselves right now trying to fit Miley and Robin into their time slots.
So yes....celebrities have a responsibility...but the public has a responsibility too..To be fair and just when examining the actions of their idols. The court of public opinion is not fair to Adam...and yet we all have our suspicions...but why? Why IS HE held to a different set of rules?
Mainstream America hates Gays. They only "like" Neil Patrick Harrises, etc., because they "blend in". Adam is real, wears nail polish sometimes make-up, etc. Remember when Adam spoke of Gay diversity in the community. Adam knows he is not accepted for who he is. Sad but true.<<<<nancdruuu2
It's quiet easy if you don't like these celebrities then don't bother with them, if they lose record sales and their fandom starts to dwindle just maybe they will realise they need to show a bit more respect for people. If these celebs act like trash and fame has gone to their heads then ignore them and move on to follow someone more deserving.
11.08AM Is Adam not allowed to share his opinions? Yes, he does get slammed for his opinions, but he is not going to let that change the kind of person he is.
What is Miley thinking? She made herself look so ugly with the dumb looking hair, the big red lips, the stupid looking outfit not to mention the flesh colored thing with her cheeks hanging out. She gets up there after making herself look so unflattering and then acts like that and the voice. What's with the voice. It sounds like she has a bad cold and is trying to clear her throat. So sad he Mother never taught he what the word class meant.
I agree that being Gay is a problem in the US, but it's also a problem in Australia as well. At least the US has made an effort in certain places for equality, I'm sad to think Australia is so backward when it comes to this issue, the majority of Aussies want equality but our politicians are the problem, they are so out of step.
A good illustration of when to keep your mouth shut, I see the article above brings up the AMA's . AGAIN . Adam is too quick to tweet. The entire world now knows his feelings about a slutty performance , and i can imagine the parent's council and the people holding on to the 4 year old AMA mess commenting Of course He would approve! Oy vey! Remember Glee Adam, teenage audience with Parents.
Kelly clarkson's caustic statement ;pitchy strippers is the best description for this mess. Miley is miley not hannah montana.this nauseating performance will not affect her sales.her collaborations with britney and kanye has been confirmed! Adam like every other f..king person in this planet(you and I) is entittled to his opinions.I really wish the press will stop making a mountain out of a molehill. BtW..did that lil' brat miley acknowledge adam's tweet? DON'T THINK SO
You are showing the Adam bubble you live in. The other artists who have defended Miley have also been quoted in the news, not just Adam. As for her performance being something children shouldn't see, that's on the parents to not let their little kids stay up late and watch a show that is expected to have Gaga's ass hanging out or provocative dancing.
Celebrities and fans are puppets for the media and the powers that be. We can only bring that to an end by each person deciding they, as an individual, are not buying into the hoopla.
'He is too quick to tweet' Honestly what can I give you for that statement? I could kiss you . But I beg to differ on the rest of your comments,he did not approve,he merely stated the obvious;miley was having fun.
Now that Adam's going on Glee he really needs to be more careful with future comments, it's true most of the viewers will be teens with Parents so Adam needs to be a good boy while performing with this cast.
Come on people, now the moms are out telling Adam how to behave on Glee? That's a giant leap from him making a comment on Miley. We know he knows how to modify his performances for different audiences. But the moms just can't stop themselves from telling him what to do. Go annoy your own children.
Today i unfollowed him and Neil. Family of a star should never be part of fandom. I've always though that but today it was proven right. The way they acted was disgusting. i feel bad for the girl. :(
Oh, and my hubby said of Miley and Robin Thick's performance (in addition to what mentioned above earlier) "well, that was just silly". Which was perhaps what Adam was trying to diplomatically say....because if nothing else, it was definitely THAT.. Which was probably intentional...
WOW 11:08....I don't care what you have seen or where you have been. YOU do not know Adam and how dare you give this 31 year old man advice to learn to be SILENT????? ADAM?????
Freedom of speech on any matter, his right, no matter what business he is in.
@nancdruuu2....Go for it, you're on a roll! My 2 cents: 1. From the beginning of time, MTV's target audience was 18+. Not sure why anyone would allow their tweens/teens to tune in to that channel, let alone the VMA's which have a long history of being nasty & lewd. So, to all the freaked out parents: "that's on you". 2. I keep seeing that MTV rated their show as TV14, but I don't think they are the ones doing the rating (I could be wrong here). 3. As for Miley's performance, yeah it wasn't well thought out; she wasn't singing at her best; and the sound in that auditorium probably lent to the poorer quality. 4. I do believe that her main intent was to say "hey, I'm 20 y.o.; I'm a sexual adult; I'm not Hannah Montana anymore so let me be". With all the pressure and responsibility placed on "young stars" to emulate perfect behavior for their fans, I don't blame her for wanting to make that final cut of the Disney star umbilical. I might have chosen a better route for my message though. 5. I would venture to guess that most tweens/teens have either witnessed or been involved in "nasty" behavior before. 6. I don't agree with the media running with it as though it was on the same level as a real world crisis such as Syria. It should have been a "one and done" media report, and on to more important things. As for myself, it didn't bother me. I am older and have been around a few blocks so it was not disturbing. I will say that I would not have let someone under 16 (at least) watch the show in the first place.
Sorry, but Adam should have stayed out of this mess. She has family and friends to defend her. Miley has enough money to live off for the rest of her life even if she never works another day. Her performance was pretty nasty, and shame on Robin Thicke for grinding all up on her. He showed no respect for her and women in general, just for the sake of artist expression. Adam still doesn't seem to understand his relationship with the press. Whenever there's a negative story about him, it gets picked up worldwide, but when it's positive, such as the Queen concerts, not a peep. I wish Adam would stop promoting and sticking his neck out for other musicians and celebrates that don't reciprocate. I don't want Adam to be a boy scout, but he's just finally emerging from the fire himself.
Adam at least has the whole thing in perspective. It's a silly awards show with most of the performers trying to be as outrageous as possible. He's wondering why everyone is so "spazzed" about it. Like Justinn T. said, it wouldn't be the VMAs if something outrageous didn't happen. Adam has been on many sides of show biz. I think he knows that it's not that deep. Time for it all to go away now.
Glad to know that Adam is not the sole celebrity to cut Miley a little slack. She just looked and acted foolish, no matter how "cool" she thinks she was. It was an idea that was ill-conceived and it deservedly bombed. But, like we've been saying, it won't affect her sales or concerts dates, etc. etc.
BTW, in my opinion, Adam expressed enough remorse for his AMA performance to make it equal to an apology. He explained himself and the reasons for what he did. He took full responsibility and has paid the price many times over. If he didn't actually say, "I'm sorry," I think he made it clear that he was.
2:40 PM Your whole post does nothing but make excuses for bad behaviour. Some may say it wasn't that bad but the truth is it was bloody awful, cheap and nasty and just not necessary, just because you didn't find it offensive doesn't make it right. I feel very sorry for young kids who look up to these so called celebs, and if I had a young daughter I would be extremely worried, I would never allow her to watch Miley's performance. She is nothing more than a cheap trick.
I agree that Adam at least took responsibility for his AMA performance, at least he explained why he performed in the way he did and I remember on the Ellen show how he did say that he was sorry if he offended anyone as that was not his intention. Now that's a lot different to Miley and Robert Thicke who don't appear to want to address the matter at all. In my opinion they are nothing better than cheap scum, if that's the legacy they wish to leave then good luck to both of them. I'd rather put my energy into someone who really deserves some recognition like Adam because inspite of his mistakes he is a good person who at least is honest enough to admit that he may have got something wrong.
I agree. Just because Adam did not say "I'm sorry" does not negate from the fact that he admitted time-and-time again that it probably wasn't his most shining moment. He understands the industry...he just doesn't buy the hypocrisy that goes with. And he shouldn't.
haha, Miley detracted from Robin Thicke's hideous outfit and bad singing and Gaga's ass.... it really stole the thunder from everyone else. which was probably the intent.
In sorry to why should Adam keep his mouth shut and its perfectly fine for big deal JT and lance Bass to take up for her even more. Double standards again. Adam said he did not say what her he liked her performance or not but was not spazzing over it. He worked around MC quite a bit doubt he wants to make enemies with her and was probably the way he feels. A couple articles in some newspapers and on line or not going to hurt him any. It sure is not hurting her she got lot more mentions than that she is profiting from it the opportunities already coming in. Adam was punished way more than she ever will be so time to let his go. The performance was nasty and stupid but I doubt it will hurt her in long run one bit whether is wrong or not that how it will come down I suspect.
Well I think most people are capable of forming an opinion for themselves, without being influenced by what others say, including Adam. Who knows the way where going in years to come they may not even bother to wear clothes on stage it might be straight up front nudity. I noticed a video of Adam's friend Justin from Semi Precious Weapons who had topless girls on stage, and that's where were heading. Next it might be porn on stage. We become more immuned the further we go. I guess the celebs will try and say it's an expression of art to justify themselves. You have to ask yourself how far is far enough.
Yeah Mile will be remembered for her performance alright as a sleazy slut. Not a nice way to have people remember you but she asked for it and that's what she'll get. People are talking about it but not in a good way.

It will most likely not hurt Miley (or Robin) or the countless others who push the envelope at these shows. In fact...if history repeats....certain artists have come out victorious, both financially and with further exposure (on the radio, interviews, etc.) after these antics. Adam was and is still held to different rules.
Like I said in an earlier post...TBTB are probably scrambling to secure a Miley/Robin interview just as they did with Chris Brown, etc.
Adam is indeed a victim.... of double standards. He,I'm sure, doesn't think of himself as a victim but until he is treated with the same respect and equality the other boundary-pushers are, then I suppose we will revisit this conversation when that time comes.
you guys are so funny MC is going to become a very rich and famous woman over this. SNL is probably scrambling right now to get her show together. Millions of parodies are being made as we speak and talk shows are going wild for her.

Adam Lambert is heads and shoulders above the rest, and that's the problem he is too good, he's unique. One thing he will have is longevity in the industry, which is more than I can say for the others.
To change the subject! Adam was the most handsome well put together man at the VMA's he looked gorgeous. Put a bit if old school class in a not to classy program. But hey it's the VMA's.
One thing Miley doesn't have and probably never will have is class. She might become very rich and famous but what will she be famous for, and as far as being rich, their are some things money can't buy, things like integrity, dignity, professionalism and respect, I see these qualities in Adam but not in Miley. Any success she receives will be short lived, but as Nile Rodgers put it, Adam is a genious, and one day people will understand that.
@2:33 PM I agree. Neil is very immature, rude and tacky - just like his father can be. To me it seems that Neil has taken to his dad and Adam has taken to his mom.
I truly wish Adam doesn't take advice about anything from Eber or Neil. Those two shouldn't interact with fans AT ALL!
I'm 4:59 and now I feel like I was too mean in my comment. But... I don't know what else to say since that's how I feel. I do not understand WHY they talk about Adam with fans all the time...
@5:01 PM You need to tell all this to Eber and Neil. Maybe even Twitter, so they will bring these guys in line. Also be sure to inform all the fans who contact them. Eber and Neil don't initiate contact with fans at all. But you can blame them anyway.
5:01 PM I don't think you were being mean at all, you were just giving an honest opinion. Although I fully respect that Eber and Neil are Adam's family, I too have some misgivings at times with some of the comments they have made. Eber can be quiet humerous and I'm sure he love Adam but I also get the feeling that he speaks too quickly without giving enough thought to what he says. As far as Neil goes I can understand why Adam used to refer to him as Negative Neil, it's not hard to understand how he got this name for himself. I also think Adam is a lot closer to his mom, and he appears to have adopted a number of her very good qualities, they come across as being genuinely good people with caring hearts so it's not surprising why people often say that Adam is not only beautiful on the outside but on the inside as well.
Some comments here stating that this article was bad or harsh on Adam have me baffled. From what I could make out, it was pretty strait forward and simply restated what he tweeted about Miley. To my thinking, this is more great exposure for Adam. It shows people care about his opinion! And they ran a handsome picture with it. All good in my book. But, like I said, let me know if I'm missing something?!
As for one comment about Miley having no class and never will, watch the early reality show with Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie...yikes (but, funny). You might be surprised how well Nicole has grown up. Such a beautiful, interesting and classy lady now.
Miley is Young! And, most likely getting feedback from her gang that this type of stuff is fantastic publicity for her. Maybe it is. I saw a young CNN anchor comment that he hadn't thought of Miley in years and now he's thinking about her.
That "twerkin'" didn't look pretty to me, but showbusiness is a different animal.
Well 3.40 I do not believe anyone has to worry about Adam not wearing clothes on stage. I think that the television council can ease their mine about. Will be lucky if we get to see his neck in the Vegas show maybe a little chest. Adam loves fashion to much to miss a chance to show it off. On E tonight they showed people from America's got talent all taking up for Miley all judges were. Hope The Toronto paper writes them up only fair and Lance Bass and JT. Really doubt it. Howard Stern said was only thing exciting on the show. Adam did not say he liked it are not he was not dodging anything. He works around these people she will be at Vegas, he worked with her before will be around her I suspect in Vegas again I heard her state she likes Adam I think he fond of her.people stated here they can make their own mine up. Adam likes debate and wants you to do just that, you do not have to agree with him he certainly not say you have to agree with him. Then it's only fair he not told to shut up and he given the same courtesy.no one has the right in a free country to tell someone they are not allowed to speak their mine sure a lot of double standards going on pertaining to Adam and what pertains to others.
So much bitchiness on this site, if you express your opinion there's bound to be someone waiting to pounce on it. So much aggression, so much rudeness. This really let's Adam down in a big way!!
I learned a long time ago that we must all be tolerant of each other on these threads when it comes to typing a post using the correct English. Adam is sharing many fans coming from many walks of life, these being highly educated, educated, people with English as their second language and other people not giving any credence to typing the proper English as they are posting. It is such a mixed fandom that Adam is sharing and, believe me, it was nearly killing me when I was was starting following Adam on all these threads and seeing the atrocious English. I do not open my mouth as we never know into which category each post falls. Just learn like me to be very tolerant.
I agree to. At least some can actually speak two languages which is more than I do. A question, there seems to be a lot of info. out there about Demi Lovatos character on Glee but nothing about Adams yet. Wondering why. Maybe he will be on later in the season.
Jadam Nz I don't know but I sure am anxious to find out. All I know he is Kurt's nemesis and will be interacting with Demi's character a lot, can't wait!!
Hope this is post #100... A good place to be thanking the person @8:49
Thank you for your excellent post! Tolerance is sorely lacking on this site... and kindness, acceptance and NORMAL discussion where you can state your opinions, agree and disagree and be civil about it.
Many of the posters here need to follow Adam's premise - everyone is allowed to be him/herself - accept others - agree or diagree with them but accept and respect their opinions and their right to voice them.
What I don't get is how people did not see this performance coming. I mean did no one watch their videos. Their performance was pretty much what their videos were, except Miley did have a swimsuit on. I really thought she would be wearing something like Gaga had on at the end of her performance.
Australia certainly doesn't hold the problems of the US when it comes to homophobia and thank god for that. A change is coming all over the world and about bloody time.
Adam's AMA performance happened so long ago, it's water under the bridge, his moved on since then, he's grown and matured. Hopefully with Glee coming up the general public will view him in a more positive light.
6:51 AM I agree that Australian's in general are a pretty open lot and would be happy to see equal rights in our country, but governments on both sides of the house seem to be very slow to move on this, they seem to constantly tell us that we have more important issues to deal with, I'm so sick of hearing them make these excuses.
I always see Adam in a positive light too, but sadly there have been a number of people who have not given him a fair go, they have been to quick to judge him or criticise him, radio stations not playing his music and so forth. I'm hoping Glee will open up other doors for Adam also the Vegas gig with Queen helping Adam to gain the recognition he so deserves.
It seems that no matter what Adam says or does, there is usually some comment about it esp. when they are more negative. We've heard from Adam about Miley's performance. But where are any comments from Robin Thicke who was in the middle of this. Maybe he doesn't want any more negativity regarding the performance and has just decided to keep his mouth shut.
There is some criticism of Adam's defending Miley's performance on the VMAs. Everyone has certainly been talking about it the entire week. Now I hope that when Adam performs with Queen in Vegas and then begins his role on Glee, that he gets some positive reactions and comments to this. Why is it that we usually read the negative and disparaging comments about him, but when he gives an amazing performance or interiew, nothing is heard about it. Adam is always recommending some performer's new song or album. Let's hope some of these individuals get on the bandwagon for him as his moves on with his career.
Not to prolong this thing, but interesting article from USA Today:
"Experts: Miley's dance won't damage Robin Thicke: The 'Blurred Lines' singer has courted his own controversy with the hit's sexy video."
****And apparently the bottom line of the fallout from the whole performance: An excerpt from the article (which gives a rundown of some of the other crazy and/or shocking moments over the years from the VMA's and other events)...is this:
"....Us Weekly entertainment director Ian Drew, who believes the controversy will blow over in a matter of days.
"It was just something to talk about," Drew says. "It was tasteless, yes, it had its elements of shock, but I don't think it's a career-halting moment" for either of them.
"This is what the VMAs are about, it's about going crazy and having fun."
Yeah, there is a whole different set of rules for Adam no doubt because he dared to be honest and upfront about being openly gay. It is such double standards and makes my blood boil.
Robin Thicke can't sing so he has to rely on half naked women to make him look good and draw attention to himself, I'd like to see him perform with Queen or Nile Rodgers, the man is a dead set loser and certainly no match for Adam, Adam is in a league of his own he is far more superior when it comes to the talent stakes.

I wonder what kind of reaction Robin's wife had, in private, to the mirror reflection photo of her husband groping the woman's butt at the after VMA party. The woman didn't seem to mind at all. I would have slugged him.
I did slap a bank Vice President once for doing the same thing. His glasses sailed across the marble lobby floor. This was back before groping female employees was discouraged. Fortunately my boss sided with me and no one ever made that mistake again.

Loads of fun and no responsibility.

Miley would make a good porn star, she's in the wrong industry.
And Robin Thicke?

I'll tell you why because Adam has learn't to tone things down, I also believe that although Adam tried to justify his AMA performance back in 2009, he stated in an interview that his intention was not to offend anyone and he was very sorry if they felt offended.
Responsibility?
11.05AM Adam showed no remorse for his actions.
The entire world now knows his feelings about a slutty performance , and i can imagine the parent's council and the people holding on to the 4 year old AMA
mess commenting Of course He would approve!
'He is too quick to tweet'
Honestly what can I give you for that statement? I could kiss you .
But I beg to differ on the rest of your comments,he did not approve,he merely stated the obvious;miley was having fun.
Now that Adam's going on Glee he really needs to be more careful with future comments, it's true most of the viewers will be teens with Parents so Adam needs to be a good boy while performing with this cast.
@11:50 AM Miley does not know who Adam Lambert is. She only knows someone by the name Glambert. Personally I'm glad she did not respond to Adam.
No Shenanigans Adam, while your on Glee.:)
Come on people, now the moms are out telling Adam how to behave on Glee? That's a giant leap from him making a comment on Miley. We know he knows how to modify his performances for different audiences. But the moms just can't stop themselves from telling him what to do. Go annoy your own children.
OK, let's give Adam a rest and go back to chastising people for asking Eber questions. Here's a new one to rag on.
Vivienn ♔ @GlambertHU 50m
@milestougeaux weirdest question ever but did Adam have any favorite disney movie in his childhood? :D
Miles Tougeaux @milestougeaux 14m
@GlambertHU Pete's Dragon or maybe Bedknobs and Broomsticks
Funny you mentioned Eber...
Why would Adams honest opinion hurt him on Glee., isn't that show busy glorifying one of their stars who died of a heroin overdose? What a load of BS!
I don't believe those who are telling Adam to "behave himself" while on Glee actually watch the show. Glee sure ain't the Brady Bunch.
So Miley Cyrus was very silly, meaning not very intelligent!
I thought Glee was a wholesome family show. You mean it's not like the Brady Bunch, how disappointing is that.:(
WOW 11:08....I don't care what you have seen or where you have been. YOU do not know Adam and how dare you give this 31 year old man advice to learn to be SILENT????? ADAM?????
Freedom of speech on any matter, his right, no matter what business he is in.
Damn! You are tripping!
1:53 PM
Hey, Why over react? Girls entitled to her opinion. You don't have to agree but be nice about it.
I am so sick of ya'll with your incredibly judgmental and small minded opinions of how Adam Lambert should behave.
Who the hell do you think you are. Mind your own business and let him live his life.
Like your opinions are going to change who he is.
That's funny!
Hello, could we please have another pic of the day.
Dear 11:39, Her mother probably did show her how to act. She being a teenager chose to be independent and ignore it. Whats a parent to do.
2:13, I just thought a 20 year old would want more out of her performance.
@12:48 PM
Every wife and mother should have a husband and son to protect her the way Eber and Neil did.
I would never put some nameless faceless person above my family.
Omg lol Neil is a total asshole. I would cringe if he was in my family.
@nancdruuu2....Go for it, you're on a roll!
My 2 cents:
This place is a zoo

2:40 PM
Your whole post does nothing but make excuses for bad behaviour.
Oops! I misspelled celebrities, oh well...2:59 PM
@DRG,
I agree. Just because Adam did not say "I'm sorry" does not negate from the fact that he admitted time-and-time again that it probably wasn't his most shining moment. He understands the industry...he just doesn't buy the hypocrisy that goes with. And he shouldn't.
Miley,hopefully,will learn from this too.
I'm sorry; do not agree that ADam should keep his mouth shut to cater to the masses who can not think for themselves.
haha, Miley detracted from Robin Thicke's hideous outfit and bad singing and Gaga's ass.... it really stole the thunder from everyone else. which was probably the intent.
@2:33 PM OMG! You're a total asshole. I would never want you in my family.
@3:27 PM That's about what I have thought from the git go. Miley stole Everyone's thunder. I think it's hilarious. Atta boy Miley girl!

You hit the nail on the head @3:39.
Oh god stop with thinking adam is some poor victim who has been horribly mistreated
Adam is indeed a victim.... of double standards. He,I'm sure, doesn't think of himself as a victim but until he is treated with the same respect and equality the other boundary-pushers are, then I suppose we will revisit this conversation when that time comes.
@3:51 PM What a wonderful inspiring comment. Bless you for telling us what to think. You've converted us all.
you guys are so funny MC is going to become a very rich and famous woman over this.

Such bullshit
@4:32
Nice.
....
and there you have it. @4:32 has spoken and therefore it must be true.
@5:01 PM
You need to tell all this to Eber and Neil. Maybe even Twitter, so they will bring these guys in line. Also be sure to inform all the fans who contact them. Eber and Neil don't initiate contact with fans at all. But you can blame them anyway.
5:01 PM
I don't think you were being mean at all, you were just giving an honest opinion.
Eber and Neil don't contact fans that's true, but they do need to think about their answers to fans questions out of respect for Adam.
miley became famous ina slutty way?omg- wild kid miley cyrus;miley cyrus real attittude.
The inmates are running the asylum again.
Did I miss something?
Some comments here stating that this article was bad or harsh on Adam have me baffled. From what I could make out, it was pretty strait forward and simply restated what he tweeted about Miley. To my thinking, this is more great exposure for Adam. It shows people care about his opinion! And they ran a handsome picture with it. All good in my book. But, like I said, let me know if I'm missing something?!
As for one comment about Miley having no class and never will, watch the early reality show with Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie...yikes (but, funny). You
might be surprised how well Nicole has grown up.
That "twerkin'" didn't look pretty to me, but showbusiness is a different animal.
xo laura
Then it's only fair he not told to shut up and he given the same courtesy.no one has the right in a free country to tell someone they are not allowed to speak their mine sure a lot of double standards going on pertaining to Adam and what pertains to others.
xo laura, my thoughts exactly re: the article.TY
4.00 agree with you. 4.32 stop agreeing with your rude self!
Feature Pic, What is this reminding me of? I know! The charmin toilet tissue Bear!
Yah!Yah! Adam will not keep silence!!!:)
He was born to be the voice of the new generation he!he!:)
Adam's opinion is very important for the media that's why they always put him in the news folks!!!:)
Whether you like it or not Adam's mouth is the money make indeed he!he!
You can't do anything about it!!!

Oops sorry I meant money maker!!!

Learn to speak proper English your sentences don't make any sense!!
8:49 I agree.
Phew! What a mammoth thread with people bitching at each other.
I wouldn't like Robin Thicke grinding me but whatever floats one's boat.
Ummm, what?
Can't read the article on my computer but I'm guessing it's more of the same that's already appeared in the media.
Hope this is post #100... A good place to be thanking the person @8:49
Thank you for your excellent post!
Tolerance is sorely lacking on this site... and kindness, acceptance and NORMAL discussion where you can state your opinions, agree and disagree and be civil about it.
I'd better sit this one out! lol
Yep, that's us - a sack of cats clawing, biting and scratching.
We should have that image as a logo on t-shirts - Glamcats!
Adam didn't need to apologise for the AMA performance nor should he.
Darn it all to blazes why should double standards still exist.
Adam's AMA performance happened so long ago, it's water under the bridge, his moved on since then, he's grown and matured. Hopefully with Glee coming up the general public will view him in a more positive light.
6:51 AM
I agree that Australian's in general are a pretty open lot and would be happy to see equal rights in our country, but governments on both sides of the house seem to be very slow to move on this, they seem to constantly tell us that we have more important issues to deal with, I'm so sick of hearing them make these excuses.
I most always see Adam in a positive light . . . .
12:17 PM
You make some valid points and I agree with you.
"This is what the VMAs are about, it's about going crazy and having fun."
http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/music/2013/08/26/will-vma-controversy-affect-robin-thicke/2701757/
Apparently there is whole a different set of rules re "having fun and being crazy" for Adam Lambert....

Whew!!!
I wonder what kind of reaction Robin's wife had, in private, to the mirror reflection photo of her husband groping the
woman's butt at the after VMA party. The woman didn't seem to mind at all. I would have slugged him.
I did slap a bank Vice President once for doing the same thing. His glasses sailed across the marble lobby floor. This was back before groping female employees was discouraged. Fortunately my boss sided with me and no one ever made that mistake again.
