Amazing!, all the stuff he tweeted and now there are a ton of articles only talking about his 'big brother' defense of Miley.

From the poll it looks like most of us agree with Adam.

I love your voice Adam and I do hope you will have a long and successful career but I question your view of what is entertainment and what is salacious exhibition . What is now considered acceptable behavior for viewing on television in our country saddens me. There seems to be no moral high ground anymore. I know Adam's world is very different from mine and his opinion is as valid as mine but since I have a daughter Miley's performance turned my stomach.

Adam can not knock Miley, after all, he was in the same scenario a few years back from his AMA'S performance. He knows and understands exactly how Miley must have felt the morning after;Adam has lived it. He has to be positive for Miley. Obnoxious behavior has become so commonplace with the famous of today. Did you all know that one famous movie star took his penis out on a plane and urinated right in the isle in front of everybody? I will not mention his name, but he is French. It is almost to the point that no matter how horribly famous people act, they only become more famous, as in the old saying, "there is no bad publicity". Miley will live on, but, maybe, just maybe, someday, she might go to college and become a nurse and really become an addition to society.

Children should not be watching MTV, then no worries.
Miley is 20, no longer a kid.

My only concern is my Adam Lambert!!!:)

I think Katy's performance is weak and her song is boring, I don't understand anyone older than high school age enjoying katy. MTV award show is supposed to be crazy and edgy. It is not supposed to be a kiddie show where we need to worry about setting a good example. There is a place for adult entertainment

I was not a Miley fan before VMAs and there is no reason for me to change my mind since the VMAs.

People should know that they're taking the risk of seeing stuff like this on the VMAs every year. No big surprise. Miley pushed it very far and she will not suffer for it in sales or contracts or concerrt dates. She'll take some temporary flak and then she'll be a multi-million seller as before. I don't care for her voice or personality to begin with, so this only solidified my opinion. Adam tried to be diplomatic, I think. He didn't really praise her, but he kind of defended it as just fun. Tried to smooth the waters.

It is terrible that Adam, who himself has had to take years to get over his AMA performance, has now had to go juxtapose his name with that of Miley Cyrus and her despicable actions. It's Tues. evening and I just watched ET and Access Hollywood. They both had lengthy segments about Miley. Lots of people from the VMA's were making comments one way or the other. But they DID NOT mention Adam. This the first time that I was glad that he was NOT included.

The problem with Miley is the fact that she can't sing and had to perform this fiasco to cover up her inadequacies. Robin sounds awful too and should have known better than to join in these sleazy acts.

Read on a site here in NZ that Robin Thicke was actually annoyed because Miley did things that were not in rehearsals and also took most of the camera time. I was disappointed in him till I read that.
