This must have been news for Adam too. I guess he rushed home from NY to get his clothes, then has to rush back. Wonder if he has some one he knows to sit with. This sounds like last minute stuff. I guess the word is out that he had been overlooked. Now that he will be on Glee, and just had collaboration with Nile and Avicii. Also a performance with Queen, in the huge Las Vegas show. Must have made some one sit up and say sh-t we had better get him on.

I sure Adam knew he a surprise keeper that man. Least they let us know a day ahead. Good things are really happening for Adam no one deserves them more. I think the next couple years are gonna be the start of really good stuff for Adam. He got friends in high places and he got got the talent to back it up. Anyone that thinks going to movie premiers and just networking as much as possible does not help is dead wrong he welled like by people that count. I can here the rats on here scrambling to get back in their cracks in the wall now, Ha. It so glad it's this weekend so I be here. I so thrilled for Adam and us you just do not know. He getting in with and making music with some big names can only help. He will i think not so far in the future get those awards to. You know sue, you have been very nasty to me and made all kind of untrue assumptions. I am always happy when good things happen to adam. You cray defensiveness and completely unrealistic expectations are always funny though.

Was going to watch as I wanted to see the Gaga Perry Cyrus shoot out. Should be a fun show and a good red carpet. E andcSeacrest always do a red carpet sp hopefully we will get an interview. Seacrest one of the biggies on the Vegas show so pays to advertise Queen.

It's in NY? Thought it was in LA well probably had come back get his outfit. Maybe he didn't find out until he was in NY. Who knows I just thrilled period, I was not interested in it boy I am now. There will be a special Monday on E for Joan Rivers. It does not say fashion police it says MTV but its JR coverage on The VMA's. it's at 8.00 pm and again 9.00 pm. Sue

Adam has hit a different level of fame.
He deserves every acknowledgement and success that he gets.
Such a major talent! Crazy level of talent!
His collaboration with Niles Nd Avicci as well as this upcoming Queen performance, and Glee, but leaving RCA was a bold Adam move.
People like Niles and the guys in Queen so love working with him! So want him to be seen.
It's happening! He is the real deal!

Adam isn't mentioned in the link article, but it has been confirmed that he will be on the show. The article only mentioned the top performers, not all the prsenters, etc. I think Adam has had higher visibility lately, with Glee, Avicii and Nile and the Vegas show with Queen. Seems only right to include him. Viewers who don't follow him will see that he is out there making music and keeping very busy. Hope he gets to meet some big names who he hasn't yet met.

This is great news. I wasn't going to watch the show, but now that Adam will be there and is also presenting, I definitely will watch the show. If Adam needs a date, I am right across from NYC in NJ and could get there very easily. I can dream, can't I? It should be an interesting show overall with all the people noted who will attend.

This lady has been a Hollywood reporter for years. She was on Adam'a True Hollywood story, suspect she a fan to. Quite sure it is true. Especially with an updated picture of him sitting in that chair that's a new picture!

I wasn't going to watch the VMA's but now that Adam is going to be a presenter, I am siked! Adam has definitely reached a new level of fame. Even though he left RCA, it doesn't seem to matter an ioda! Adam has friends in BIG places and these connections really count! Plus, his reputation as an unequaled talent is definitely out there! There has always been a buzz about Adam, but now it's bigger than ever! I'm so excited for Adam and what the future will bring for him. I will be glued to the tv with you all!.....nancdruuu2

Glad he's going to be there, but he needs to perform something. He needs to stay in the tv spotlight. The public that doesn't follow what he's doing should see him on tv singing.

I don't care when he was asked to participate on the MTV awards ... just the fact that ADAM is going to be on my TV screen again has me thrilled!! I miss seeing his smile except for Ytube & pics. Can't wait till ADAM is on Glee as a regular ... hope I can stand the delicious anticipation!!

Glad to hear that Adam will be on the VMA show. Even though he hasn't done any new music or vids lately, his name is out there in the music scene now with the future appearances on Glee, the Queen concert in Vegas and the collabo with Nile and Aviici. It will make watching this often crazy and outrageous show worthwhile just to see him. Somebody probably realized it would be a good idea to have him appear on stage as a presenter. And it will be a good chance for him to network and meet up with some of his music friends.

You do not know Adam if you do not think he would travel to ends of earth to get the right outfit especially for large occasion. Maybe he was asked after got maybe not. What counts is he there can only be good for him his music and his upcoming performances. Why can't we just be happy for this good news not worry about anything other BB going to present be there with all the big wigs and record people.

I keep praying that next year, he'll be receiving an award, not presenting one. Hope 2014 brings lots of good things.

I will watch now. Used to watch all award shows but now, if Adam isn't included, I boycott. ;) Glad he will be on the show and hope that 2014 brings him awards, accolades and the utmost success that he deserves above all other artists.

LOL if you think Adam flew home for clothes. He could buy something in New York or have his clothes FedExed to him. Same if you think he was snubbed with a last minute invite. Did it dawn on you maybe he had an important meeting or job in LA that couldn't be rescheduled?

I hope you are right about the important meeting..but, I totally believe that he did not fly to home to get clothes..so it does remain a mystery why he flew home, turned around and flew back to NY..its a shame that NY and LA are so far apart..

I get a kick every time Adam and/or his 'mgt' succeed in surprising the fandom...some event or happening or the recordings w Nile & Avicii... something the best ninjas have not found out in advance...

I agree that successful music will open doors for Adam, but so will his appearances on Glee and the concert with Queen in Vegas. Also, being a guest on all those talk and late night entertainment shows to promote Glee will bring him to the attention of audiences again. Those of us who have been fans from the first note he sang on Idol, are waiting anxiously for the third album which hopefully will bring him the success and recognition he so deserves in the unpredictable and difficult world of the music industry.

Yes we know he flew home. Tweet this morning from a woman who said her daughter was on his fight to NYC last nite. Also tweet from united flight sttendant who said he flew home to la from ny on Thursday.

That's two days at home. Wouldn't surprise me if it was just to put his outfit together. He was in ny a week and he might not have had his attendance confirmed before he left home, First class non stop is not a bad flight

It's pretty obvious these appearances mentioned are already opening doors. Adam fame has risen already. It has been 2/12 to 3 years in between albums for some artist doubt Adam that long it takes time. He is working on his music and others. It is a good thing to be on other popular artist albums it can do nothing but help does not mean he not working on his own music.being on Glee and Vegas televised huge festival certainly will help his star rise and that will help his upcoming music sale because it will increase interest and the young fan base to buy his new music. However he needs all his fans also who have always supported him. All the things he doing now will certainly increase the fan base and interest in his music exposure is the key. A over three year old song of Adams in Korea became a big hit again because of beer commercial that just shows what exposure does. Cannot wait until tonight to see him on the VMA's which I was not watching before found Adam was on it will cheer me up! Sue
