I listened to Lay Me Down, I think it's a mess as a vocal, the only thing to like about it is the beat.
There is no way I would guess it was Adam, it could have been anyone. I'll pass on that one.

Thought No Boundaries went to Kris Allen. I would not give Adam any credit for that song Kara DeoGauri wrote a stinker!

listened to LMD for the first time and it is a pretty good song!! I usually don't like a song the first time I listen to it but I did this one. Wild!!

I LOVE Adam's version of No Boundaries!! Play play played it when Adam's version was released and still play it. It's the only version for me.

I agree that "Lay Me Down"s vocal seems really unclear and mushy, but the music sounds that way too. Can't understand the words and can't hear that beautiful sexy voice. It sounds unfinished to me and I usually I love anything Adam sings!

This singer does a much better job on NB than KA but NObody can sing it like ADAM ... if ADAM had won AI ... NB would have been a chart topper ... KA did absolutely nothing for this beautiful song! Such a shame .. IMO ... I really love this song!!

I remember upon the announcement that KA has won, Adam and Kris were whispering something and laughed together but not heard on TV.
I guess the whisper of Adam was, "Well, as the winner, you gotta sing THAT song now!" LOL!
How I disliked the song then but appreciate it much later.
