Tim Bergling @Avicii 53m So happy to be a part of such a great cause! Thanks @nilerodgers for havin me, and great to finally meet @adamlambert Click Here
Adam's vocals were amazing! His voice is out of this world. I never tire of hearing him sing. Looked like he was really enjoying himself.
I'm hoping for better vids tomorrow to see what was going on when LMD was played. Was Nile playing and Adam singing live or Avicii on stage by himself.
Better sound version of LMD http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqWyctYNgZM
Per twitter Adam was next to Avicci on stage during LMD and on the other vid of LMD we already got you can see Nile come out on the stage chanting Avicci.
EDM DJs rarely if ever do live versions. I don't know why anybody is surprised.
I have a feeling this is the beginning of Adam start to skyrocketing stardom. If they release that song Lay Me Down as a single it could be the one that could be world wide hit. Love that disco sound just the best and all ages can appreciate it. Did you see the crowds dancing. Please Avici make this the single from your album. I just have such a good feeling about Adam and I think Niles is really trying to help Adam with this wonderful rise to world wide stardom in the words of Simon Cowell (remember when he said that to Adam on AI) "I think you could be a world wide Star". Cowell knew what he was talking about. Its been a bit of a struggle in the beginning but when you have a God given talent like Adam it just cannot be ignored!!! Bless you Adam in all you do I will be there watching with the thousands of others as I have done since AI.
TALC vids version of LMD up now. You can kind of see Adam and Nile off to the sides but both come out on stage at the end. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HkZli6OzW28

Oh boy Jackie. Adams been out in the public four years. He is is not skyrocketing anywhere. It's just a featured performance on an album cut. It's not an adam song and the avicii fans don't care who is singing. There's a singer named Audra Mae with two songs on the album. Do you think Audra Mae is skyrocketing to stardom now. Lmao
@2:33 I'm not Jackie, sorry, but I have to ask you and please try to answer at least to some of these Q's (although you're a troll) * why do you always want to spoil the fun?! * don't you ever find anything nice or good to say about anything, anyone?! * don't you ever feel the NEED to say something appreciative about Adam, cause even you can't be so blind, deaf & dumb that you deny his beauty & multitalent! * why are you TROLLING on an Adam Lambert fan site?! * what has Adam ever done to you?! I am a huge fan. I have followed him since his first idol audition. I have bought his music and gone to a concert.
I say and post plenty of nice things about Adam. You don't know what I post, positive or negative. Plenty of people post negative things.
At this point it is of no interest to me what adam does career wise. I actually hope he opens a bar, gets rich and just has a happy life. The music business is too hard.
I didn't say anything negative about adam in that post. It's the completely unrealistic and ridiculous fans who don't have a clue about the entertainment world that bug me. I have friends on twitter and at another site who are big fans but also completely grounded and realistic. They would never say idiotic things like adam is going to skyrocket to stardom and become a huge star, they are sill fans.
3.37am. I'm sorry that you have lost hope for Adam's career but some of us haven't. II didn't know it was unrealistic to be positive and to have faith. He has worked so hard and has always been true to himself. It will all pay off. One day he will be standing on top of the music mountain while beibs is at the bottom, scrounging in the dirt, looking for a place to take a leak. Lol
I think it's the overzealous responses to things predicting the thing will instantly propel Adam to world wide domination or the misinterpretation of things that drive some of us crazy. Like saying the Avicci fans dancing to LMD will make Adam huge. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that is their usual reaction to their idol. Yes, Adam will probably pick up some fans from this but it is like looking at a concert with glamberts screaming and dancing or a kanye concert with fans screaming and dancing and predicting everyone will now love the person featured on their newest song. Thats not happening. Doesn't make realistic fans bad fans. I think there wouldn't be so many meltdowns if some fans didn't expect everything to be a miracle or every rumor to be true. We have watched this happen over and over. Huge expectation not based on fact and then huge letdown. Adam is talented enough to work his way to the top with time. No need to make it a melodramatic ordeal.
3:37 am, please share where is this other site. I'd like to visit!
Agreed totaly 20:33.i want adam to standout and famous for his own music and not riding others coatstail.i love adam very much.my dream is to see his music well known everywhere in this word and to see his command in arena type of concert.
woots love these videos!! Adam had some sexy pants on, will they give the white pants a run for their money? The song LMD is so catchy and it is sucking me right in. lol Has anyone heard if Adam is back in La? People please ignore the trolls, they are out a plenty and raining negativity.
I have worked for one of the biggest stars of all time and been around those who have claim to fame within the industry. Adam is an incredible performer with outstanding stage presence and limitless vocals. If Adam had conformed to mainstream and insincerities.. promotions could have been different but he chose to stick true to himself which is bloody admirable. Now his soaring with the genuis of Nile Rodgers and Queen and working on his own material close to his heart. Can't wait to see what happens from here.
It was nice Adam got to finally meet Avicii and perhaps he got to meet the other groups for the first time too. I hope Nile feels better today. He had a great dance party but it took it's toll on him.
@Anon 3:37 AM Since the tone of this thread took a bit of a nosedive, I just have a couple of things to say:
I'd rather read comments such as @jackie 's , ones that express enthusiasm and hope for Adam's future in the entertainment biz, difficult though it may be to succeed in, even if one has talent, than those such as yours that suggest Adam's career dreams and aspirations should be relegated to the back burner, with him giving it up and "opening a bar".
It's one thing to be "realistic", its another to throw cold water on a thread that started out so well. Fans tend to get excited about their favorite singer/performer etc. We who have followed Adam's career since day one on Idol certainly know exactly what he's up against, but we, at least I, still have some high hopes that he'll be performing, doing what he does best and loves, for years to come, perhaps in front of a world audience. And not just in bars.
Thank goodness Adam's parents didn't say to 10 year old Adam "Oh honey, who's gonna want to watch a slightly chubby Jewish kid sing and perform, other than at Bar Mitzvahs? Nah, we're not going to shuttle you to and from those silly children's musical theater rehearsals, or pay for voice lessons...because what's the point? You wanna be a rock star? Pffft...Just run along outside and open a kool ade stand...."...
I guess glitzy that I think I you don't have to be a complete fool to be a fan. And many on this site are complete fools.
I found this site because someone was copying posts from this site to another fan site and people were laughing at how ridiculous the comments here were. Those on the other site are just as big of fans as you are. They, like me, have contributed to charity in Adams name and supported him all along the way. But when people say absurd things they are going to be laughed at. Including you.
And one more thing glitzy. Unlike you, I am not confused about my non existent role in Adams life. I do not tweet him, leave him messages or try to meet him or communicate to him in any way. I am not telling him to give up his career. I am saying I don't have expectations for his career. Huge difference.
You seem to feel your role is to be a substitute Mom. Hilarious.
That would have to be one of the best versions of Trespassing I've heard Adam sing and WWFM the way he finished at the end of this song absolutely brilliant, Let's Dance also truly amazing. Adam needs to be singing with professionals like Nile and Chic full-time, the band was simply amazing. Not to keen on Lay Me Down, it should be a great club number but I enjoyed the live performances from Adam and Nile so much. Thanks to who ever up loaded the great vids.
the constant arguing on this site is so tiresome. enjoy the vidoes and pics but best to skip the debbie downer comments. if any of you are parents, would you be so contrary to what your children were hoping to accomplish career-wise, would you say 'go open a bar' because they like to socialize. you can be realistic but also hopeful, and I can't help but think this whole fan drama/saga about arguing every little thing is a turnoff to new fans.
The way I see it Adam is world famous but more so through his own music, no doubt that's why he's busy working on new music right now preparing his third album. Still, having his vocals on Lay Me Down should help to generate good publicity, I'd say that's why Nile was so keen to put this concert together for AFTEE as it's a great way to promote not only Avicii but also Adam and himself, a great way to showcase the three of them.
The only thing laughable on this thread and other posts are people who find they must come on a fan site and run down that person such as Adam. Most comments said by negative people here today are a load of crap. Not everybody at that festival was just an Avencii fan there were many, many Adam Lambert fans there, like there are at other sold out concerts. Adam does not need to open up a damn bar someday he may for investment purposes. I suspect Lay Me Down will help Adam in some positive way. Why don't you and all the people who are making fun of us here go read all the articles that are raving about the song and not just Abincii but Adam string vocals and saying it will be a huge hit in clubs all over the world this fall. We know Avincii a big DJ star and would have much to do with that but the song certainly needed vocals and Nile's playing and it got the best Adam L. Certainly will help it success, and will give Adam a boost out there in the world that is far from laughable. There are many articles praising Adam's strong vocals correction from above. I just saw Adam Gain featured on E last night about Glee and saying he will interact with DL. He will be on glee as a cast member this year. He going to front Queen at a huge televised Vegas festival, and he is working on his music and others. His career is doing fine he things are getting much better for Adam good things are happening you just keep trying and working and you get to front icon's and perform with them. I love you dear Jackie you keep up your positive posts nothing wrong with them. You can be successful in many ways in the entertainment business it dies not all have to be same old pop star, Adam will have many different opportunities in many directions, such as Glee that will lead to other things. Why font you go on some other idol sites who no body even mentioned their name in years some winner's and give them advise I wish them the best also, Ad does not need your lousy negative advise. Yes call me a fool and proud of it for a fantastic talent Adam L. And proud if it. Trolls on here trying to say they are fans are what is laughable to me you are not fans. Sue
Adam is a true professional with amazing talent and the music industry recognises that, another thing I've noticed with Adam is he never passes up an opportunity, his a master at networking, so combine these talents with his amazing vocals and stage presence the man has it made and will be in the industry in some capacity one way or another, in fact he could end up multi tasking in many different areas of he industry given all the years he spent in theatre as well he has so many skills he can offer.
Once again someone who shows any restraint is labeled a troll and one line is pulled out of comments that make a lot of sense. People claim they should be allowed to make their skyrocketing comments, then so too should the person who doesn't expect that to happen. Glitzy's comparison to dashing a childs dream is ridiculous as was saying being featured on an Avicii song will skyrocket Adam to fame.
Adam is already famous, certainly he's like more continued success and over time I'm sure he will have it, but skyrocketing to fame is unlikely no matter how successful one may be, as most artists will tell you themselves it takes hard work and true dedication to full-fill their dreams, it's not an easy road but Adam seems like the type of guy who loves a challenge and that can keep you going when things get tough. Already look at how far he's come, I'm almost certain he'll be around for a long time yet.
Most of us here are fully aware of the harsh realities of the music business. We know that Adam is not at the top of the heap, by any means. Realities are what they are. But that's not what being a fan really is, in my opinion. It's easy to be a "fan" of Bieber or Gaga or Perry, etc. who are sitting on the mountaintop. It's another thing to work hard to support a performer like Adam who is equally if not more talented than the above mentioned stars, but who struggles for acceptance and big success. Being a fan is about intangibles like excitement and love and appreciation and sharing little details. And yes, it's about gushing and over-stating our hopes and dreams for Adam. It's about heartfelt beliefs that a charity concert performance with Avicii and Nile just COULD be the next step up for Adam. It's about hoping that everyone in the universe sees him perform with Queen and being a new character on Glee and loving him for it.
If being a fan is just intellectualizing everything and "facing the facts" and "being realistic," what a boring fandom that would be. Adam makes us spill our emotional guts. That's what fans do.
Adam is our BELOVED UNDERDOG, the fighter, the scrapper, the networker who gets himself out there. He fits into no perfect category, bless him. Be realistic and analytical if you like. I know all that stuff, too. But leave the rest of us to the emotional rollercoaster than we are on with Adam. I love this ride.
Then please let us who want to keep our feet on the ground and not ride the emotional rollercoaster to do that as well.
It should be easy and fun to be a fan of anybody. I don't understand the need to lessen the value of being a fan of stars. Why is this fandom full of people who think they are better than others?
Let me say calling fans laughable for supporting Adam even if a bit over zealous is not a fan. Saying we call you the T word for showing restraint is not accurate either. The poster's in question were quite nasty and showed no signs of being a fan. Stating it was only Avincii fans in the crowd, and that why they liked the song. There were plenty of Adam and Nile fans there as well I heard many screaming Adam's name. There are fans that go to every extreme to attend everything possible Adam is in and every expense I would if my health let me believe me. This is a fan site they are here to support Adam. Coming here every time there something joyful and saying nonsense and for the most part it is , is unfair to real fans. Compare Adam to some from Idol Adam has done very well and come a long way. He not on the top yet, but he going in the right direction with the opportunities he getting now. They will lead to mire opportunities I suspect. Look at fun their overnight success took 12 years, PHY after 6 albums. Sometime slow and steady wins the race those people end up being in the business much longer than the quick successes. When your showing restraint as you call it maybe if you did not call the fans laughable that are zealous ardent supporters that Adam and all celebs need no one would call you the t word but the way some of you criticize fans who really lovingly support Adam without all this restraint BS you deserve the title. Sue
@Anon 10:04 AM This sentence to me says it all from @3:37 AM:
"At this point it is of no interest to me what Adam does career wise..."..
Okaaayyy...
That fan has every right to express whatever is on his or her mind. But so does @jackie. I PERSONALLY don't think the Avicii song will "skyrocket" Adam to success either, because he already has that. But it could very well be a way of gaining more recognition and fans. @jackie is expressing excitement and should NOT be ridiculed for that in my opinion. My comment to @3:37 AM was meant to point out that having faith in someone counts for something. I would MUCH prefer that if Adam were to stumble across this blog, that he see comments that are in some way supportive of him and his career, and not those that basically say "I don't give a s*** what he does anymore...he should just open a bar". But whatever.
Sometimes we get a little crazy, over the top..but it's because we like this (also sometimes a little crazy over-the-top) guy. Nothing wrong with discussion. I don't care if you agree or disagree with me. Say what you wish. But so will I. And if you must, feel free to laugh at me if it brightens your day...
And remind me to never visit whatever the "fan" blog is that enjoys posting other fans' comments with the sole purpose of laughing at them.
DRG, and Glitzylady, I have never admired your spirit, intelligence, and common sense more than when you defended the likes of our over the top optimism and high hopes for Adam. Your words bring a lump to my throat. "Our reach should exceed our grasp, or what is Heaven for?" Besides, it's so much more fun to be positive like Adam, isn't it?
I may not agree with the not interested in his career and he should just open a bar part, but I do agree with much of what else was said. Why isn't there room for more than one kind of fan?
Hello this is the idiot laughable fan Jackie. To the debbie downers "go fly a kite" and take some meds youneed it. To the real fans who have followed Adam from day 1 thank you for your support. Must admit I did get carried away I woke up at 2:30am and checked 24/7 and just wanted to show my support for this terrific man.I still think if this song LMD comes out as a single it will have a strong affect on Adams fan base. Avicii has a huge following in Europe. Ok nuff said didn't realise my enthusiasm would create such a fire storm. Peace and love to all
@2:09 Of course there's room for more than one kind of fan. Are you kiddin? That's why there's never a total agreement on anything in any of the fan site threads, LOL. We may call ourselves Glamberts or true or huge or whatever Adam fans, but we are all unique individuals with our own unique opinions and our own unique way of expressing these opinions. However, the exchange of opinions would be easier and more 'conversational' (going forward), if nobody felt the need to express their opinions as superior or better or 'more right'... Yeah right, like that's gonna happen...so the drama continues... lol?
Loved this short set, Adam looked and sounded amazing. Love the respect between Nile and Adam....love the 'pants'.... And maybe this colab with Avicii won't 'skyrocket' Adam to fame...but it certainly won't do him any harm to have co writing credits, and be a featured singer on such a big names album. Maybe it will get him some new fans, get his name known by people who otherwise wouldn't have looked at him. Its a win win situation.
Glitzy, DRG and other positive posters. Well said. That is exactly what a fan is believing in and wanting and seeing the best in Adam. Whatever this all means or whatever happens I am there. All I see when I see Adam performing particularly lately with Nile is a happy and successful young man making the most of his gift. Why put him down for this, I can not understand some people, maybe they are not nasty but frustrated and unfulfilled. Anyway heres to Adam and to even more success and happiness for him.
Sounds like this realistic fan is a frustrated individual with lots of resentment and bitterness in life. I bless you that you may find joy in your heart and fill the world with love than being bitter. You may be realistic, I know I am, but I am a happy hopeful person unlike you. You do sound so resentful and a negative defiant person. But, again, I bless you.
No reason to put anyone down. We can all be respectful (ok, so I'm an optomist). Some haven't learned their manners it seems. This site is getting a bad reputation on other sites and it's not coming from respectful posters. Just sayin'!
Tim (Avicii) started his career at 18 - he's come a long way in just 5 years. I would never have imagined a D.J. would ever be known world wide. Strange times we"'re living in.

Another vid of LMD but Adam is singing. Just Avicci on stage. I don't get that.

Sorry, meant to say Adam is NOT singing.
Wow love those pants on Adam. It looks like all of Nile's hard work paid off, wonderful concert.
Avicci is a dj, that's what he does, spin records. Rarely does he perform a live version.
Yes, Avicci is a dj. Just figured Adam would sing his portion live. Hoping anyway.

Sue
9.13 yes I made few typing mistakes in a hurry, sorry. But still how I feel and I apologize zero for it. Sue
don't forget to listen and support EnergyMusic Radio from the UK. I am sitting here listening to it as I type on this computer.
8:47 thanks for that info now I know where the stench is coming from.
is there a clear studio version of LMD anywhere? thanks, catchy song !!
Aloe Blacc skyrocket to fame yet?
Those over night successes have been working at it for years and years.
DRG
@Anon 10:04 AM
This sentence to me says it all from @3:37 AM:
It brightens my day!........JAK
I may not agree with the not interested in his career and he should just open a bar part, but I do agree with much of what else was said. Why isn't there room for more than one kind of fan?
It brightens my day!........JAK
What the hell happened ?
Hello this is the idiot laughable fan Jackie. To the debbie downers "go fly a kite" and take some meds youneed it. To the real fans who have followed Adam from day 1 thank you for your support. Must admit I did get carried away I woke up at 2:30am and checked 24/7 and just wanted to show my support for this terrific man.I still think if this song LMD comes out as a single it will have a strong affect on Adams fan base. Avicii has a huge following in Europe. Ok nuff said didn't realise my enthusiasm would create such a fire storm. Peace and love to all
@2:09
Of course there's room for more than one kind of fan.
Yeah right, like that's gonna happen...so the drama continues... lol?
11.18am
Fun worked away for 10 years before they became an overnight success.
