Yea the lady presenter with Adam caught my attention, her natural unassuming personality, also her blond pompadour. Adam should have hosted the VMAs; he's a natural; the guy who hosted, too, I thought was very good but I hear some complaints. The show would have been given a real lift if say, Nile, Adam and Avicii performed Lay Me Down...oooh, it would have been a first class show. Now it's very good except something is hugely sorely missing...voice! The whole show is very meticulously put together apart from this absolutely essential ingredient of voice/singing technique which is sorely missing. This after all is a song/music award show apart from the acts/visuals which are interesting and some original. Yea glad that VMAs invited Adam; NY is Adam's paradise.

On ET just showed ratings for VMA was up by 66%.

I watched a Lady Gaga clip, on after the VMAs; a large group of fans swarmed around her outside. I was mesmerised by how she treats her fans as if they were her buddies. She told them not to push, that she'd take photos with each and everyone and the bodyguard told them to queue lol! It's her calmness and genuine smile; she lets her fans hug her closely and she'd hang on to one while addressing others. Now for the scallop seashells she's wearing...I have a small pile of them, I collect seashells. A couple of times, at restaurant dinners, I would pile them up at the side after eating the scallop shellfish. One time, the waiter wanted to take them away to clear for the next course and I told him I wanted to keep them. The nice waiter then took them away, washed them and brought them back..that's how I got a small pile of these Gaga scallop shells. lol!

And now for a BIG rant:

I missed the VMA's last night because I was driving home from an out of state weekend trip. And didn't DVR it because I didn't hear about his appearance on the show until after I left home on Friday. "No problem" I thought, I'll just watch and/or record a rebroadcast tonight.. which I just finished. And WTF??!!! No Adam presenting.:((((( Looks like he was cut out of the rebroadcast. I can't imagine I somehow missed him. So I am not amused..

I was SOOOOO looking forward to seeing him on my big screen HD TV again. But most of all, I'm disappointed for ADAM because those who missed the live show will not know that he was on there if they only watch the rebroadcast. At all. They won't see how very confident and articulate he is, how wonderful and handsome he looked last night.

No, that category/award was cut out entirely. I know they were doing a live thing where people could vote on the "Artist To Watch". Which is the one Adam presented. And I suppose they felt it was expendable because people could no longer vote on it. i suspect Austin Mahone might feel a bit slighted too. A friend of mine told me the broadcast last night, the live one, was 2 and a half hours. The one tonight, the rebroadcast was only 2 hours. :((((( Unfair...

I would LOVE to think they'd promptly rebroadcast the entire show, but I suspect my lowly request would have little impact on their decision to use an edited version. Looks like they edited other parts as well (Gaga's bare, thonged derriere for one thing..).. But I HAVE thought I might at least politely ask why they cut out 30 minutes of the show. Hard to label it a "rebroadcast" when it is the edited down version. I suppose it would be called the "director's cut..".. which does happen sometimes, do to time constraints, etc... I'm so sad that it was Adam that was left on the cutting room floor in this case..................... grrrrrrrr!!!!

I do not agree with Adam that Miley's part of the show was ok. It was poor taste, and even shocked her mother, who was not pleased. Poor taste is putting it lightly, it was out and out crude, and portrayed her as a slut. I think Adam thought it was nothing but funny, because he has done exactly the same thing himself, in all his tours, and the one time at the AMA's. Freedom of speech can only go so far. I never was a fan of hers, so I won't be forced to see such an exhibition again. The audience there were kinda trapped, not expecting anything like that.
Well I got that off my chest, and now on to looking forward to Adam and Queen, and Glee, and hopefully more of Nile and Adam. .Did Adam get interviewed by any reporters , I haven't seen anything, he usually does.

Adam'a whole segment could not been more than Five minutes. They cut thirty. They reran it at least twice last night the whole two 1/2 hrs. I saw that also and was mad even tho I taped it and have it. They better play all if it for countries never played it. I think most saw it last night however. They had it schedule tomorrow for 2/12 hrs. Changed it to two hrs. I raise heck if I was you. I cannot believe two girls one guy on AI JHud was probably right price it obvious they were not planning all along to do it. They tried WIM and dr. Luke price to high are just would not do it. Hey I was admiring Adam's VMAs shoes when I saw his photos, even before I knew they are called Depression shoes designed in Singapore. I thought being the fashionaire Adam is, they are probably NY shoes. I wished I had commented earlier. lol! I scrutinised the shoes, for some reason, very attracted to the soft leather strap around the heel. Adam likes Singapore, hmm; remember the Idol Sing clip, also filmed here. Oh not forgetting his tattoo resembles a little, our 40-year-old Merlion spouting water. Adam, we're gonna keep you hooked to Singapore yay! In any case, I did mention we released 6 singles from FYE album and Trespassing, BTIKM, NCOE, all topped the Sing charts for a few weeks. Also Adam unofficially opened our Pantages Sentosa when he came here, first artist to baptise the stage. I remember his ethereal voice reverberated Broken Open through the brand new Pantages theatre. Hey since Finland has no more 'adoption' claim on Adam, perhaps Singapore can take over. lol! Yea Adam, come back for more chicken-rice and rojak...lol!

American Idol pay attention, you want ratings, have Miley Cyrus and Adam on judging panel. VMA ratings increased by 66% this year. I don't say this high rating was because of MC performance. But the high percentage of it is. My son ran out of his room to watch the performance cause his friends were texting about it. AI needs to create buzz in its show. Having Adam and Miley will do it.

My tweet to @MTV just ***innocently*** wondering where the "lost" 30 minutes of the live broadcast went??? You'll notice: no direct mention of Adam....didn't want to clue them into the fact that I'm one of those Glamberts... :))) Just want to see the whole show of course........

That's so sad they don't show Adam on VMA rebroadcast. No wonder people complain as why they don't hear anything about him. Corporate greed blocks him. I hate dealing with big corporations.

To be fair, I don't think it was intentional that Adam's segment wasn't in the rebroadcast tonight that I saw tonight. The award he was presenting was not one of the major ones.. And if the intent was to cut the show down here and there to fit into a 2 hour time slot, I suppose that would be one of the things to cut. Darn it.. But still.....On a positive note, he WAS on last night..and people really noticed him. And lots of positive buzz as a result... Soon, we'll be seeing him on Glee. And next month, the iHeart Festival with Queen. So YAYYY!!!

She gave credit a while back to Pharrell for her change of image. Wondered what his thoughts would be.

It was rebroadcast at least three times with Adam on it. There is one Thursday evening with extra ten minutes maybe will be on that one who knows? 2hrs 10. Min.

I understand what you are saying. Still that is not a right thing that MTV did. Adam wasn't performing last night only presenting and his name trended on twitter twice. Once "Adam Lambert" and the second time was "OMG Adam Lambert". Most people on twitter didn't hear about Adam for a long time and they were excited to see him and they loved him. Their action is hypocritical too. They show gay rights performance and then they cut the only first openly gay pop artist who is struggling with discrimination in their own climate. I don't get it!

LOL that cutting the live voting portion of the show was done on pupose as a slight to Adam. If you weren't an Adam or Mahon fan you wouldn't care. Adam presenting the award is still on a clip on MTV.com. Try being realistic not unreasonable.

Regarding Adam's take on Miley and her VMA performance, we know Adam is a very sexual human being and performer so why would anyone expect him to condemn Miley for anything she did that night. My only complaint was that it was not a child rated performance, but as Adam has said in the past regarding his own performance, this was an evening performance so if you don't want your kids to see, don't let them watch. Sure Miley was not my personal taste and something I would not want my granddaughters to see, but we shouldn't blame Adam for being positive about it as he is honest to the core and can't be a hypocrite like so many others. I think disappointed Adam fans need to chill out. Just my POV.

First, Miley is getting some backlash from her performance, but Lord knows, she will suffer NO backlash when it comes to sales and concerts, etc. I'll bet none of her appearances will be cancelled. In fact, she may get more interviews because of all this. Just what she wanted. Adam gave his opinion. He's never shocked by anything, and he knows perfectly well what she was doing. She got all the media buzz. It'll fade in a few days. Adam didn't praise her performance. He said she was having fun. He understood her agenda, though. Miley is one of my least favorite performaners. Not a great singer and her personality isn't very inviting. Oh well.

If there is any shred of truth they were slighting Adam and I doubt it. It did not work because 90 percent of who will watch do it first two or three programs and tape it. Only few that missed it watch after but the majority already saw it and can find on line.

Just saw Emelie Sande performing on GMA today. She is a very talented singer. And I also like Bruno Mars. He does seem to pick the right songs that become a hit. Weren't Bruno and Adam in competition one year for a Grammy in the same category? As far as Miley, she is certainly getting a lot of publicity(both negative and positive) from her performance. I guesss people are shocked by this girl who was the sweet Hannah Montana not too long ago and now has turned into this sex kitten. I wonder what her fiance thinks about all of this hoopla.
