Adam Lambert teamed up with funk legend/superproducer Nile Rodgers at his All For The East End fundraiser last night (August 19). The duo performed a string of Lambert's own songs but the definite highlight was Lambert and Rodgers destroying a cover of David Bowie's "Let's Dance."

Is it amazing to anyone else that, despite any typical mainstream success, Lambert has managed to be so succesful? He performs with Queen, for chrissakes, and will appear on an upcoming episode of Glee alongside Demi Lovato.

Looked great, but you forgot to pack a belt. Noticed you had to hitch up jeans, that's what belts are for, LOL.

But I totally enjoyed watching Adam hitch up his pants. More! More! Do it again Adam!

12:40, My thoughts exactly. Somehow, without multi-million sellings albums, Adam is managing to gain the respect of the top names in music. Talent DOES shine through! It continues to puzzle us Glamberts how the middle of the road music buyers are still over-looking him while the top acts put in right upfront on stage and sing his praises. Go figure.

I ranted a bit on the earlier concert video thread below in response to someone who said that Adam's career isn't really going anywhere and we're all raving too much.

These major business acts with years of success (Queen, Nile, etc.) see and hear Adam and they just can't ignore that talent, that look, that presence. I LOVE those pants, tight!!! Maybe he needs suspenders. Suspenders can be very sexy.

You could see Adam was ENJOYING Nile's and the Chic band's funky, totally fantastic sound in Let's Dance - hence the joyous dancing... and his singing... oh my, oh my!!!
