Nice! So used to the original version, big production number this is a real surprise! I just about died when I heard Adam's low register at the 2:22 mark...Thud! Is this what he's been doing in the recording studio? Will it be re-released? What a voice!

love both versions....

He is doing new music in the studio. Love Aftermath but at the end his high notes are a bit piercing for me maybe because they are so out front. It is amazing that Adam can hit all these notes!

I should have clarified, I was referring to the Trespassing track...haven't heard the Aftermath one yet.

Have we heard Trespassing acoustic before?

Oh, they are remixes, not really Adam acoustic :(

very good!

For any of Adam's fans, this signed guitar is a rare find, not only because it is autographed by him and his band, but also because it was part of his successful Glam Nation world tour. If you would like to bid on the guitar to help horses, check out the auction on eBay.

So good the best. He puts so much emotion when he sings. That's Adam for us.

The guy who did these just posted on Adamtopia and said he will be doing more,Oh Runnin Please!!!

Aftermath is painful to listen to, terrible screeching, where is this track from? His voice sounds terribly damaged - how can this be?

Anonymous said...

Pains me to say this but i thought Aftermath was not good. He could barely hit those notes. Actually, giant gulp, this was the worst thing I've heard from him.

someone on YouTube said these are the raw backing vocals for the Aftermath recording, not acoustic. Listen to the original Aftermath recording and you will hear them in there.

6:31 thanks that makes more sense now.

They are poorly done remixes.

They were his backing vocals only and yes it's piercing but Adam does hit the notes knows how to do so while protecting his voice.

I like the Trespassing acoustic. More minor notes than in the original song and I really like songs written in minor keys.

The Aftermath acoustic is fine for a while until it disintegrates into screaming but then Adam is a screamer.

I love Trespassing more than Aftermath. But WOW! Love Aftermath on acoustic CD he released back in 2011.

That does not even sound like Adam I hope his voice is not changing.I really don't think that is him singing this.

SO interesting to hear Adam playing with different interpretations of these songs! Tho' I have a favorite "Aftermath" performance (GlamNation Tour, 6/15/10 @ the Riverside Theater Milwaukee, by Lissav725 ... check it out, you won't regret it), this is some amazing singing.

And, WoW ...

I LOVE THIS VERSION OF "TRESSPASSING"!! FAR DIFFERENT than any others I've heard, fasinating and beautiful. Adam's voice and the instrumentation. I'm going to add it to my playlist so I don't lose it! An incredible interpretation in my opinion.

What FUN!

Just read that this version of Tresspassing contains 'elements of "Metal & Wood" performed by Tyrone Wells.' LOVE LOVE LOVE. Great mixing.
