Ohhh, I think very stubbly melvin is still there. I like it.

I like the two endearing terms...ginger Mel, Anon 11:00 and stubby melvin, 12:42. How did the name Melvin come about? Never took a fancy to this name. How about Billy...Adam's Billy lol!

Someone in fandom came up with melvin and the nickname seems to have spread. Kind of weird to me that people call it that but whatever. It really is a goatee most of the time.

By the way people who know how to have fun live healthier lives. Negative thinking produces stress which in turn causes inflammation/swollen inside the body which leads to heart disease and also lowers the body's immunity. As I always believe, nothing is free, those who try to bring others down have to pay a very high price because their negativity demands a toll; like some highways they collect tolls. Nothing is free, I always believe that.

Adam Lambert certainly stirs up all kinds of feelings in people judging from some of the comments here. Everything from his hair style, to the facial hair or lack of it, to his sunglasses and his thrifty shopping habits become a cause for discussion. I don't think there has been any other male singer since Elvis who has had such an array of fans invested in every single thing he does. I admit I am mesmermized by Adam Lambert's performanceas and like to check in here for the latest vids or news. I have never seen him perform at a concert so tv appearances and vids of his musical performances are probably the closest I will get. It is just amazing how much we now know about pop culture personalities due to social media and the posting of pics and vids on a daily basis. So much for privacy. But as they say, it comes with the territory of being a public figure/celeb in today's world.

Melvin usually referes to something or someone kind of nerdy. So, I guess some people thought his facial hair looked rather nerdy and gave it that name. Kinda cute, I think. I'm glad he's shave it off, at least some of it. I love anything and everything I can get about Adam.

To bad Adam wasn't allowed to street/bargain shop in private. I think he probably really enjoyed doing that in his before-Idol-life. Another articles sez he left without buying anything. Someone following you with a camera has to suck the fun out of leisure time.

I don't care when ADAM releases his 3rd Masterpiece just as long as he does. I LOVE ALL of ADAM's music from pre-Idol to Trespassing & everything else so I have a lot of music/videos to watch/listen to until that happens. As ADAM says ... 'you can't rush ART'!! And ADAM's music is certainly that!! BTW ... I'm still waiting to see ADAM on Glee!!
