I would love to hear the song Adam recorded for Trespassing that didn't get included, the one written by Ryan Tedder. I loved his song Sleepwalker on FYE album.I also loved Adam's cover of Tedder's song Come Home. He's a talented guy.
Just a little remark, but so much imagery behind it, I could almost hear his tone of voice. Adam's the master of social media; in bitty bites, he serves up his POV in succinct, clever, and current food for thought.

an AMEN from me, too.
@1:31 I agree. Tedder told Adam he felt he was more of a rock person so maybe with Adam's next album being more on the rock side they will write and work together. I was just re watching Adam's AOL sessions for his songs on Trespassing and I am in awe of his vocals!!!My mouth is hanging open!
Adam can do it all, which begs to ask why he doesn't get the radio p,ay he deserves. He certainly gets critical acclaim.
Thank you Admin. For the new featured picture.......JAK
To the Dark Side: I think so many of us have asked the same question as to why Adam doesn't get radio play when he is such a vocal talent in comparison to so much of the garbage that we hear played everyday. I remember when Trespassing was first released and he did all those radio promos, interviews and mini-concerts. He was here in NJ/NYC area and not once did I ever hear any of the songs from the album played on that station. Adam does get crtical acclaim, but major success and recognition seems to have eluded him. I am not saying that he isn't successful, just that he deserves so much more in today's music world. Hopefully 2014 will be his year in music.
Lol this is no different than David cook or kris allen fans feeling their idol didn't get what they deserved. People off a reality show don't get much respect. You think he is more talented than them, but they would say the opposite. It's just a tough business, adam has not been treated unfairly.
Love the pic of Adam and the little cutie pie sitting next to him.. Actually, they're both cutie pies. (Pic of the day)..
talking of twerking...Adam shows us how it should be done..

Love their latest album Native. Love Waking Up too. Very talented band.
4:33 yes you have pointed that out before, we get your drift. I never spend anytime worrying what Kris Allen,David Cook and James Durbin fans ect are thinking.
what the heck kind of picture of the day is that of Adam? It looks like a mini him with the black hair at such a young age. It's so cute.
I guess if adam is straight he already big like gaga and has mil of mil fanbase.i still think GAY is the big obstacles for adam sucess.
those why won't AI hire JHud and AL are getting out of hand and rather pointless. Anyone following the concert with Avicii in it? Did he play LMD? thanks.

It's the 'openly gay' that I think is an issue. All the accepted gays secured their place in the business before they came out. I agree with those who say Adam's a trail blazer. That's always tough going. And slooow going.
I have to agree that Adam's biggest struggle is that he is gay. Hopefully we are moving in the right direction and by time his new album is out it will be a bit easier.Having people like Nile Rogers in his corner, and getting on Avicii's new album, singing with queen at iheart festival plus glee will hopefully get more people to notice Adam and his remarkable talent!
8:00 Avicii just closed his set with LMD. And Just read where Harry Connick Jr. is the Final AI judge, Yay praying it is true so everyone can shut up already. lol
@9:10 PM Thank God, the Idol thing is resolved. I'm also really hoping Adam has nothing to do with that show whatsoever this year so I don't have to tune it in. Please! not even a tweet, Adam.
@7:33
I absolutely agree, if Adam is not gay he would have reached the height of success of all those big names in music.
But even though he is gay, if he is not openly gay, more people would accept him, there's just no talent with that gorgeousness and sexiness like him around.
But then even if he is gay and openly gay, if he didn't blew his musical career at the onset with that kiss and dirty finger, he would not have lost most of his Idol fans and he would have sold more records and not persecuted as now.
Oh well, it's all meant to be, Adam shall prevail for sure because there's no one who can come close to who Adam is.
Bad things happen to even good people. Roll with the punches.
Harry is the only new face this year. KU, JLO and Randy old business.
Adam done a whole lot better if you will think about it than some straight people on Idol. KA straight so are the above mentioned by 4.33 and others way better. I can tell you right now we are not the only ones that stated that kA could not hold a candle in the talent department to Adam Lambert. That was pointed out by News people, Celebs also and even celebrity lawyers after the idol debacle there were many vids to prove that. I believe it goes without saying which one of the two Queen preferred if you question that check out their choice on the televised version of the Las Vegas festival you will get your answer its Adam Lambert by a mile. I just saw a rerun of 100 sexiest artist they said Adam was the far, far superior musician and certainly plainly intimated he should have won Idol. I remember people calling into show biz tonight after the Idol finale and stating what a crime it was he did not win. He toured the world only one to do it right after Idol to date, he performed with Icons he will be on Glee and the Vegas festival and that just a taste of what's to come. Would never mention KA or the rest because they are not in my daily thoughts like Adam but you brought it up!
"Adam's biggest struggle is that he is gay" ----
I know/hope all the posters here saying that mean well... but clearly Adam is not struggling, the REAL struggle lies elsewhere...
Adam IS gay, has been OPENLY gay all the time he's been there singing and performing for the whole world to see and admire. So this 'if he was not gay...if he was not openly gay' thinking will not get him any more popular - THE BIGGEST STRUGGLE comes from 'the regular people', the mainstream ewwww he's gay, he can be gay just not openly flaunt it, narrow-minded, openly and not-so-openly but still homophobic part of people, who just don't get it or refuse to even consider it that it's time to change...
I think when someone's first words after seeing Adam and hearing him SING are "ewwww, but he's gay" (and I've witnessed this often) and they stop listening... THAT pretty much covers the REAL problem and defines the struggle!!!
The times they're changin??? Too slowly imo.
Lol adam has reaped more benefits than disadvantages by being gay. He isn't a success because he didn't get a good enough single from trespassing. Simple enough.
The biggest problem is not being gay it is breaking out of the tv reality star/karaoke show box he is in. Many people are surprised when they hear him for the first time. They don't expect someone that good from a reality show singer. Being gay is largely accepted by the under 35 demographic. It's the Idol shadow he needs to escape now.
Whatever the problem IT'S NOT ADAM!
The problem is in the US double/triple standard & the music system in general, the allmighty deciding (grey) suits. The problem is in the people who are prejudiced, lazy (i.e. comfortable in their comfort zones), deafened by the current autotuned monotonous voices and so skeeeerrrdd of anything slightly left from the center...
From the VMA tweets that I checked mentioning his name 'Adam Lambert', casual fans were tweeting mostly, where have you been? We haven't seen you for ages. And then there were tweets like, I love Adam Lambert and I don't care that he is gay. Then seldom there were homophobic tweets. I say Adam is known in public eyes. His record lable didn't take a chance to promote him well with Trespassing. I have bunch of new albums from 2012 and this year and Trespassing definitely is one of the best albums in collection of albums on my iPod.
Being on Idol didn't hurt Kelly, Carrie, Hud, Daughtry, Fantasia, Pickler, etc. Somehow the "stigma" didn't affect them. As popular as he was on the show, and the fact that millions of viewers voted for him, didn't translate into many of those people sticking by him afterward. BECAUSE he emerged after Idol as far edgier and "riskier" than he was on Idol. Everyone thought he really pushed the envelop on Idol, and he DID, by Idol standards. But when we became aware of Adam's pre-Idol performance history after Idol was over, we realized that his Idol performances weren't all that "out there" to HIM. He was still pretty tame compnared to a lot of what he did before that show. Some Idol viewers who loved him weren't able to accept that whole other Adam that is an integral part of who he is. Of course, we dedicated fans were totally onboard. We already "got it." Too bad so many of these Idol Adam-lovers couldn't become post-Idol Adam-lovers. He's so worth it.
There are other gay singers that people have no problem with. Adam is "standing here with no apologies" and some people can't take the honesty. I think Adam has done great despite all these barriers. It's really amazing what he's accomplished in the midst of the hate the backlash.
I really get frustrated with those who feel that anyone on a singing competition show is somehow automatically "not as good" as a singer who has not. It's just an empty, inaccurate argument. But these people stubbornly stick to it anyway. Plenty of singers have their own "lucky breaks" in other ways. It all evens out.

I think there were several reasons Adam didn't hit the ground running. On idol though he sang a variety of songs he was spoken of as the rock artist. Several rock fans I know were very disappointed in his first album. Rockers rarely like pop and that's what Adam wanted - to be a pop star. Then of course was his like it or leave it defiant display of oral exhibition with Tommy on tour. Some people chose to leave it. Adam has made some mistakes. Hopefully he can still gain a wider audience. A dj my daughter knows says they play music by genre and Adam isn't a fit in any one genre. Maybe his next album may be more cohesive instead of autobiographic.
Though I personally love Trespassing, it is very much Adam's message and a lot of people don't buy the message. Being a fan of Adam's is a roller coaster.
DRG at 7:17 and @7:56
Thanks to you both.
Exactly how I feel and on point with my view.
You both said it so well.
And these are the reasons of Adam's predicament.
But I say, despite all, Adam is doing very very well!!!
Ladies, appreciate your comments but please broaden your horizons! Think internationally! Adam is already now a bigger super star and more known internationally than all the Idol names put together @DRG's 7:17 post. Those are all names that fit in the US mainstreamers' music taste, don't rock the boat... and that's what Adam does with every fibre of his being. ROCKS THE BOAT and I than Universe for ADAM LAMBERT every day!!!
sorry above, should be
'I thank the Universe...'
