QUESTION: Are you happy with Adam as Queen's singer?
Roger Taylor: He works very well with us. He's an incredible singer. He's got a really magnetic stage prescence. He's very sexy. And of course our more theatrical songs suit him perfectly. He's a diva - a male diva. And that's what he should thing about being.

Roger Taylor has such great things to say about Adam and his talent. I agree that Adam will likely NOT be a regular frontman for Queen (a good thing, IMO), but I'll bet that they will perform together now and then when the circumstances are right. Adam is so lucky to have performed with them. After all, Brian and Roger aren't getting any younger. I love how Roger said that Adam was actually more suited to their songs than Paul. And he said Adam is a real DIVA, and he meant it as a compliment. Nice article.

In the pic of the day, Adam has just the right amount of facial hair and the hair on his head is fantastic..just the right length and color...can I get an AMEN on that??

I agree with @DRG: I would imagine that Adam will appear from time to time with Queen. But I'm also hedging my bet and seeing them in Las Vegas next month...because who knows when the next opportunity may come our way. I'd prefer a full-on 2 hour Queen/Adam Lambert concert (and with me in the first row: a girl can dream, right??!!), but I'll take whatever I can get, which in the case of iHeart Music Festival means nose-bleed section seats far from the stage. Still very excited!

Also just want to add that a casual friend of mine, who is a HUGE Queen fan, and also was a fan of Adam Lambert on Idol, but hasn't followed his career afterwards, said she and her hubby saw Paul Rogers with Queen a few years back at a concert in Portland, OR, when they toured here in the US, and she agrees with Roger. She told me last year, when I ***mentioned*** :)) that Adam was doing some concerts with Queen, that she thought Adam was, in general, MUCH more suited to front Queen than Paul Rogers. And she hoped they would at some point tour here in the US again so she could hear Adam sing with them. Who knows if that will ever happen, other than an occasional "one-off" concert here and there, but I'd LOVE to see that happen. Of course :)))

Part of a US tour will also depend on when and how well Brian is able to "get on his feet again".

On a very sad note:

We've just learned that Gale Chester Whittington, the man who has lovingly and faithfully posted every possible thing that has ever been published, etc.. about Adam Lambert for the past several years, on the Adam Lambert Fan Club Facebook page, and consequently on Twitter as well, and who was listed on this magazine thread scan, has died (on Aug. 12th). He was 65 years old and a faithful and dedicated fan.

May he rest in peace. Twitter is full of #RIPGaleChester right now.

This photo montage (link below) was composed as a tribute to Gale by @Essellsari, the fan who creates the twitter backgrounds, phone wallpapers, etc..

I wasn't such a big Queen fan back in the day when Freddie was with the band. I knew some of their songs and,of course, some have become classics through the years. But when I heard Adam perform with them in Europe and England, wow, I was mesmerized by him and those songs. I looked at old vids of Freddie, did some background reading on him and the band also. I even went out and bought several of the Queen cds. But I must say, Adam did all of the songs so brilliantly, it's no wonder that Brian and Roger want him to perform with them again. And about Brian being back on his feet again, he just had knee repalcement surgery, so who knows how long the recuperation and physical therapy period will be. I'm assuming he will be well enough for the Vegas show. It would be ashame if they had to cancel their appearance with Adam because Brian is not physically able to perform on stage. He doesn't do any strenuous hopping or jumping around, so he should be all right.

On the top of page of this website, to the right: There is a "PICTURE OF THE DAY" thingy.

It changes every few hours it seems.

Not Amen. I much prefer Adam clean-shaven and there are others who prefer it too.

Very sad about Gale Chester. He was such a magnificent supporter of Adam.
