Today males and some females are somehow oppose when another male be it straight or otherwise to show their so called feminen side. Back in the 70s or even 18th century males dressed up used make up and decorated themselves with jewels and wigs. But when females dress up like male nobody raises an eyebrow. When Lady Gaga at one of the award shows made herself to look like a boy, dressed up in suit and tie with boyish hairdo, nobody made a noise about it. Does this show grandous of male over female? Once a man shows his femine side the station of man is degraded!?

Is the EMA on Oct. 11th or Nov. 10th? The 10-11-2013 is confusing date but since it's European award show I assume it's on Nov. 10th. European use day month year format instead of month day year format here in US.

I just do not think that Adam wishes to look and act like a woman..he loves men too much..but I cannot see into his mind..he has dressed in drag, albeit at parties, and he does hang out with, and have, male friends who like to cross dress..the whole sexuality thing is so complicated and really not worth disecting as no one can really understand the many subtleties of same..all I know is I love Adam..and he is a very handsome and unique and talented MAN IMO

That's the bottom line for me too, I love Adam.

@1:47 Agree and don't all people have both masculine and feminine characteristics. To me Adam is all man, like an alpha male no matter which sex he prefers. That's why so many of us women go crazy when looking at him.

Except for the nail polish and make up I plainly don't see it. Adam could pass as a heterosexual without trying. The fact that he came out says a lot for who he is and what he stands for.

Well if you mean after Idol he had no choice but to come out. He was living openly gay for many years and it would be ridiculous to try and deny it. There was even a YouTube of him talking about being gay at one of his cabaret shows.

I look back at all the old pics and realize I much prefer the clean masculine look of him today. I love him no matter what, but I hope the androgynous look stays in the past.

Adam may be pretty.... but there is no mistaking that he is male. None whatsoever.

I recommend you guys to watch Adam's San Diego concert videos on YouTube. He looked fabulous and sounded out of this world. So much goodies we have until next great news.

Wow, thank you to the hardworking Glambert/s posting such a wide range of videos/articles...yea the Sing interview, he looked so content. Oh also like...Adam is a leggiero-tenor article; I've often referred to it as countertenor; so it's a specific category of voice.

Adam has the best qualities of each gender. He certainly kicked the dildo that was thrown on stage during the Idol tour like an athlete, went after the papp in Miami to grab his camera when the papps were saying despicable homophobic remarks in front of his dancers and band and is very loyal and protective of his family and friends. His broad shoulders, classicly strong facial features and other masculine attributes leave no doubt that he has a very appealing, sensous masculine side. Adam also also can be a woman's best friend, as shown with Danielle since highschool, Scarlett and Carmit since Adam was 19. He's interested in females and loves their company, having much more in common with like interests, communication,relationships, fashion, makeup, etc. "Sports, not so much,"to quote Adam. He definitely has it all. Oh yes!!

My daughter in law is working on her PHD in sociology ....we have had many discussion on Adam and his effect on people... I will have to let her know about this .... I see coffee and the porch and a discussion of my favorite subject .... she is not a fan of his music but like the rest of my family she is a fan of the man himself ......rose petal

I am far from an expert though I studied Sociology. Most people are born with both masculine and feminine traits.
That does not mean they are divided in equal parts. My son in law has 2 doctorate degrees, is masculine looking, is a weight lifter and runs marathons. Yet he dyes his hair, always has a manicure, does most of the cooking and loves to go antiquing and shops year round for the best Christmas gifts ever and wraps them beautifully. Yet he is is a doting dad and granddad and a sports nut. You can't pigeon hole people. A friend asked my daughter once if he were gay.
She laughed and said, " no, just neat. "
