It's OK because of Adam's vocals. I've heard other songs similar to it in the past.

I prefer Adam's own songs.

The rough translation of the French above is:

Avicii : Listen to his unreleased title with Adam Lambert and Nile Rodgers. That's pretty close I think....French class was decades ago!........JAK

Love the song! It's a real ear-worm. Can't get it out of my head. Love the French article. The song is getting some buzz. Hope Avicii really pushes it. He and Adam seem to get along well. That's helps, too.

Listening to Lay Me Down thru good speakers or headphones, the part where Adam POWERS OUT the call "Come ON" actually produces a physical response in my heart chakra. Such a Exquisite tone in his voice. Not sure I've heard him sing quite that way before, and I've heard everything. haha. I am really looking forward to a perfect studio play of this song!

Just watching from Finnish television document and concerts of David Bowie. Lovely Nile was on the document telling about Let's Dance; he is so cute and nice. It would be wonderful if David (isn't he too in iHeart -concert?) and Adam would do Under Pressure together. It is awesome. Gail Ann Dorsey made in this concert from 2003 a duet with David and she was really great. But I think David and Adam would be fabulous too. I have not listened to David for a long time and now I realized once again how gorgeous he and his voice was (is). After this concert from Dublin there is Ziggy Stardast -The Director's Cut. Sorry, my rant. But there was a little connection to Adam too, wasn't there?

This song is terrific mainly because of Adam and his fantastic vocals. Read several article praising Adam's vocals. Now I tune mention. If you think for one minute if LMD was to become a hit that Niles would not make damn sure he and Adam got due credit your dead wrong. He sang Adams praise on the fox show saying Adam and hisself did an Avicii song it a smasher. The difference between Adam is more well known than some on the album and it can only help him. Nile's is a great promoter of our Adam and himself. Main thing just buy the song and gift it. Being positive always get you farther than constant negativity in this world. Good things are ahead for Adam! Sue

I guess the song would be okay if it weren't for the fact that the vocals are almost completely drowned out by the overpowering pulsating background noise. That's why I am not a fan of dance house beat music. It doesn't matter WHO is singing because you can't really hear much of it anyway. Sorry, but that's how I feel. I'm being honest here, so don't start in with your accusations and name calling. When a gifted singer comes along, is it wrong to want that voice showcase at its best? There are enough mediocre ones out there who can hide behind overpowering sounds and other technological tricks.

I Heard his vocals quite clearly on this version it was not drowned out at all. He sounded great.

I have to say I LOVE LMD!!! Can't stop listening and I hear Adam's voice loud and clear,but this is EDM so of course there is a lot of production,but it's catchy and with Nile's guitar takes it to a whole new level. I pre ordered True from Amazon and will buy LMD from itunes. Can't wait to hear the full 5 minutes and please let it be a single eventually!

I love LMD and Adam's vocals are amazing. The song makes you want to get up and dance! I hope it is released as a single and played a lot on radio. Nile's funky guitar adds some hot licks to this song. Hope it is a big hit!!

To all of you whining that Adams vocals are drowned in LMD ---

WHY, OH WHY are you so worried and negative, it's only ONE song!!! There are and there will be lots of songs and performances where Adam's ONE IN A BILLION VOICE is heard pitch perfect & loud! So join in the fun and support LMD with full force!!!

And if Avicii supporters don't know or care who sings on Avicii's True track LMD, who are better to educate them than Adam fans! That's what Glamberts are supposed to do, support and make PR for their main man!

DIVERSITY should be Adam's middle name!
You all have to know by now Adam will never be predictable, boring and middle of the road!!! And Universe forbid never sing country music... (not against country music, but there are more than enough of country singers and only ONE AFL!!!)

oooops above...
Sorry, I put my last sentence in parentheses, the name AFL should never be put in parentheses!!!
:))))

@3:37
Why so serious!! Can't you take a joke unless there's a lol after every sentence?

Anonymous said...

Anyone who calls adam afl is an over the top obnoxious glambert. There was no joke there. I've already seem glamberts tweeting avicii fans and that's one way to make them all hate that song once they see the granny brigade is on board

First of all I've called Adam lovingly AFL (as so many here have done) all those years I've been Adam fan! Nothing obnoxious or over the top, I've used it for over 4 years and I'm gonna be using it as long as I love Adam!
Secondly, I think I know what I wrote and it was meant as a joke! Sorry the joke was lost on you.
Thirdly, I don't know any Avicii fans and I don't tweet.
Fourthly, sadly I'm not a granny, nor will I ever be one, but out of respect to all who are, please stop the namecalling! And you are calling me obnoxious, hah!

Anonymous said...

@ 4:34 anonymous.. I will never be a granny either but people already call me that way... I guess maybe because I tend to be forgetful.. But I think I will never forget AFL ! He will be in my heart forever... hehehe

Please don't try to "educate" Avicii fans.

@2:45 Some day perhaps you will learn that giving an honest opinion or critique is not WHINING or being negative. You've got your ideas and I've got mine. I guess I missed some of the guidelines at this site. I didn't realize that only one point of view is allowed or that one cannot have a point of view about a piece of music that Adam performs unless it is the "approved" point of view.

@12:37 PM

Adam has had several beautiful David Bowie medleys during these years, so it is!
Bowie was at the same stage on Hammersmith that Queenbert almost 40 years after, so we can see new generations do the history of popmusic again ana again
