He Brother is charting higher because Avicii had been playing for two months at his concerts before Lay Me Down so it's more familiar. It also sounds more like Wake Me Up,but not to worry we Glamberts and Glamhoppers can get the job done. Buy and gift!

It does matters to him and it should matter to us too. The credibilty of an artist is based on album sales, tours etc. It also makes it more easier to get a record label to invest in his music.

This is certainly Adam's week with LMD moving up on iTunes and then his concert with Queen for iHeartradio. And then he is supposed to be shooting his first episode for Glee. It's all good for our guy.

With the way LMD is charting on US iTunes I might doubt that his management will agree to release LMD as a single. That country song might be his next release. Come on people don't you see. We have to chart this track high on US iTunes.

Avicii confirmed in an interview that LAY ME DOWN will be the next single released. And he added - it will be sooner rather than later.

Once again, the whole world is praising the 'Lay Me Down' song while the US ignores this gem of a song to concentrate on yet another 'country-flavored' song. So fed up. I will always support Adam Lambert's music but have given up on the USA supporting him fully like he so deserves it. It is indeed unfortunate this his own country (i.e. ITunes included) cannot acknowledge this great talent.

Okay, I've emailed the fan so she can gift me LMD. of course I've already bought my copies but I'll gift a couple more. I wanna do my part for Adam for sure. He's watching the numbers so it must be very important to him.

Hey Brother is too close to Wake Me Up both country EDM,so I would think IMO a different sounding song like LMD would be better. Maybe Hey Brother is charting higher in U.S. because of it's grass roots country sound than in other countries.Put please let's push LMD up the charts!

Hate to burst your bubble but Hey Brother is charting higher than LMD around the world. The bluegrass mix is popular in more than the US.

It's hard to fight the country music empire in the U.S. I am personally not a fan, so it's doubly hard for me to see a country song get automatically accepted by the U.S. masses. Yes, there are some good country songs, to be sure. I even like a few. But I sure hope that we can get LMD to overcome the country music juggernaut. I know LMD doesn't have to become #1 to be a successful song, but it sure would be nice.....

Hey Brother is charting higher than LMD in many countries so it's not just the US automatically accepting it, it's striking interest around the world. I haven't seen anything saying it is country fans buying the track but if they are I think it says a lot that country fans are accepting a dance music influenced song.

Wake me up was number 1 in over 40 countries, but so far hasn't made it that high in the States. I have read several articles in the last week that have said that to get an EDM song charting high in the US is hard, dance music is just not as popular there.

Seems to me you are all about Avicii and his other songs, you are not into getting LMD on top or as far as possible and you say nothing positive about Adam's part in LMD.

7:03, just because I didn't mention Adam or LMD specifically in my comment doesn't mean I don't love Adam or LMD. In fact I love both. My comment was specifically addressing what I saw as DRG slamming a whole genre because she doesn't like it and for assuming another song's success is purely based on US country fans purchases. Worldwide success of that song shows she in incorrect in her negative assumptions. Being an Adam fan shouldn't make you blind to any other music or songs that aren't his and I shouldn't have to state my support of Adam in every post to prove I am a fan. Hope that is all OK with you.

I am not 7:03am, but I appreciate your post. Some people are fast judging who is a fan and who is not. And to me it is not a guarantee about being a fan , if one mentions the word LMD either. Still I happen to love Adam´s vocals in LMD.:)
