Avicii is very stylish, his team as well; see how simple the cd cover is and yet so effective and attention grabbing. For instance in a row of music diskettes say on a shelf, this is the cover that'll catch my eye. Lay Me Down is my hot cuppa coffee. Adam's leggiero-tenor does it for me, his tensioned angsty voice suits the synergy of the song+music...it's triple sifu culmination.

@8:42 Yup that's my favorite line ! Love this song and the way Adam starts his song in the lower register,so sexy. Then the Lay Me Down in Darkness part in his higher voice. An amazing piece of work by Avicii, Adam and Nile,the dream team!!!

Whoa, look at the staircase formation of my little verse...hmm indicative of the rise. lol! As I've said, I think Adam/Avicii/Nile got it and might even have hit the jackpot. Nile and Avicii are really smart to rope in Adam; good business acumen all three.

This clearer version sounds catchy and great and hopefully many more fans will get on the Adam train! I still think his Trespassing album was brilliant and superior to this song, but maybe it will be more commercially beneficial to Adam right now. If you compare this song to Queen's Who Wants to Live Forever or We Will Rock You, for me there's no comparison. Adam is just so good, he's in a class by himself. I think this will do very well in the dance clubs and in Europe. I think collaborating on other albums right now is a good strategy to be heard. I hope his entire Queen performance will be televised and not just one number. Like the Queen song, "I Want it All!

The featured picture with Leila is a stunner, she looks so different with the lighter hair. I like it better.

"Wake me Up" was no 18 today on VH-1'S Top 20 countdown.( really yesterday's now, catch the top 20 again on Sun.)I hope "Lay me Down" will be the next single!I'm so glad that we can finally hear a clear version of LMD! sounds great!I didn't recognize Leila in that pic of her w/the light hair..lol!

I like Leila's dark hair better. It shows off her beautiful eyes. When I first saw this picture----don't laugh----I thought it was Lady GaGa!!!

Just read on AO that the Hype Machine's Twitter Music Chart has LMD at #2 and it's rising. Apparently this chart has a big college following.

Boy, the radio world is playing the heck out of "Wake Me Up" and it is a great song. I even heard it played while furniture shopping today. Now they need to get on the ball with "Lay Me Down" as the 3rd single!
