listened to allison 's stuff, she is good,but honestly expected more for her comeback, wish her the best too!

2 of my favorites have not yet been given the music that will catapult them to the heights they are capable of.
Allison and Crystal Bowersox. They have similar voices, deep and strong, unfortunately the type of music that they would excel at is no longer popular. Oh how I hate that word! They need to sing what used to be called torch songs, deep from the gut angst. Christina sings such songs occasionally and gets away with it...Bound to You was a stunner for her.

Sorry, I just needed to rant a bit. When I hear Allison I just think....she's so good, but usually the music isn't as good as she is. With Crystal I keep going back and listen to the CDs I made of her singing on Idol.
Black Velvet is so good. She's living in the wrong decade!

PS....I liked Look to the Stars....however it seems unfinished to me. All chorus,,,,no verse. But a nice "piece of a song".........JAK
