Out of subject. Somebody put Adam's photos from Hallooweenie party. I hope it will not cost him a lot of problems. However, why he always tries to ruin his carrier?

@KalanaFalana:
@suilruin @adamlambert Yes, they all worked their own puppets. Impressive, huh?

@mmadamimadamm:
@KalanaFalana @suilruin @adamlambert @Cattituude And did they adlib or they had a script?

@Cattituude:
@mmadamimadamm @KalanaFalana @suilruin @adamlambert I bet they wrote their own scripts! My money says Adam did!

@mmadamimadamm:
@Cattituude @KalanaFalana I just asked her. Let's see what she says! My money is on them writing their own scripts or just adlibbing...

@KalanaFalana:
@mmadamimadamm @Cattituude I scripted the "Once upon a time..." intro & gave them a few ideas but it was basically all them. They're FUNNY!

@Cattituude:
@mmadamimadamm @KalanaFalana Not to mention, none of them take themselves that seriously! How can you not love them!?!

@KalanaFalana:
@Cattituude @mmadamimadamm AMEN! Nothing's worse than a famous person who takes themselves too seriously. Thankfully, I don't meet too many

@mmadamimadamm:
@KalanaFalana @Cattituude I'm a huge Adam fan. His voice got my attention, the cupcake of a human being he is has kept my interest and love!

@KalanaFalana:
@mmadamimadamm @Cattituude EVERYONE at glee loves him. Like, can't stop talking about how much they love him. He's a great guy.

@mmadamimadamm:
@KalanaFalana @Cattituude AWWW!!! *sniff* I love peeps who love him! Shmexy, chidlike, adorkable, intelligent, articulate, professional...

@remavineyard:
@KalanaFalana Was that written for them?

@remavineyard:
@KalanaFalana The lines the puppets said

@KalanaFalana:
@remavineyard Only the "Once upon a time..." intro. Nothing else was.

This I declare the video of 2013! Said with due respect to the AMA show that I just watched. Yes there were several top-class performances there too but Adam's Marry The Night beats all, that night. Okay, I'll just say it's only my opinion. I agree, taken as a whole show, it's pretty good standard, but down to the core, it's about singing/music, isn't it? And yet, Adam, the best voice is nowhere to be seen! I agree it's primarily a show to boost the pop/rock artists and their cds/dvds/songs based on sales...here it's where you have the last say I guess.
Okay back To Adam's fantastic MTN performance...Glee might have gotten a new lease of life to extend or venture into a slightly different direction.
Congratulations Adam on the 2.500.471 views for your Starchild MTN performance!

Puppet Master

Adam on Glee...as happy as can be
It feels like family...he says
Portraying his younger self, carefree
He wears red, yellow and purple
That doesn't resemble his wardrobe
Adam is always positive when it comes to clothes
Because he knows, anything that hangs on him
Simply flies, shines, flows and floats
Be it a top-hat, a flimsy singlet
A bow, a tailed coat, a trinket
I think it's his physique, height, countenance
That lend themselves to all kinds of fashions
Avant-garde, formal, or even nothing at all
Mmm, just a fan to shield the raw...roar lol!
That too, he dabbled on stage before
The stage lights went off... it seems
Now Starchild evolves into a green puppet
A Lambert turned sort of diva Elliot
Who possesses some aristocratic behaviour
Because green Elliot puppet wails like an expert lwl!

Entertainment isn't heart surgery. Why do so many onlookers take it so literally? so seriously? It's as if they're forgetting its purpose.

As a society, are we getting more and more hyper-sensitive to every little trivial thing? How are we so easily "offended" these days. #chill

I like Santana/ Naya's acting in this scene...so natural and funny; like when she taps her chest...that's what I do when i get shocked. lol! Perhaps there was not much need for acting really, it's what it is. Kurt says: "I'm manifesting it..." also very funny. This word I use quite often but not like that. lol!

Yes, Adam, the internet and social media does seem to give people a platform to bitch about something. Or nothing is more like it.

Anonymous said...

I have no clue what was Adam bitching about. When I bitch, I tell the reason for it.

Getting back to the actual subject of this post -- :) -- I wish there was some way that this song could be released to RADIO as a single. I wonder if that thought had occurred to the GLEE record label, which I think is CBS. Let it build an audience on the airwaves as well as digitally / online. I wonder if they could say it's an Adam song, or if it would have to be billed still as "GLEE Cast." Just a thought.

What pictures you're talking about? I haven't seen anything. What is he doing in the pictures?

What in the world was Adam talking about? Did something specific happen or just in general?

Anonymous said...

OT. I don't know if Adam was defending Katy Perry or not, but Katy was homeschooled, so you can't really expect her to know everything about world history and stuff like that.

HK fan said...

I think the tweets are in relation to some bad press that Katy Perry has been getting for dressing up in a Geisha outfit at the AMA's...apparently some people think its racist, and sterotyping Asian women as subservient etc etc.....

HK fan said...

oh, and I'm assuming these are the photos that @10.35pm is talking about.....I see nothing wrong in them, just 4 guys messing around posing for the camera...

Therefore I don't think Katy meant to offend at all, but she was rather glorifying the geisha culture.

Anonymous said...

Though I remember seeing a documentary of the real geisha women and they must also be capable of intelligent conversation, about any subject with their clients.

@10:35 PM

First of all; Adam of course is not trying to ruin his career; and number 2, I don't think he is the one pulling out some old halloween pictures from a private holloween party, which has probably already been discussed to death.

Adam seems to be moving on with his life with lots, and lots, of new pictures. He cannot help what people choose to post.

Number 3, if careers can be ruined by photograph snapshots of moments in time; there would have been no one at the AMA award show, or any other award show for that matter.

Adam is very, very tame compared to many; thank you. We just don't see pictures of all of them and their private life.

I believe Adam's career is flourshing and he still on his way to a happy and wonderful life. He is such a wonderful man; and the best is yet to come. Remember, nobody puts our BB in the back; and nobody can keep him down!

I missed the first part of the AMA show but Katy Perry's photos show a not so accurate kimono; more like a Chinese collar cheongsam with high slits. The sleeves and the broad bodice look like a kimono. The kimono is a very traditional fashion; like the back of the kimono must reveal the nape of the neck of the woman wearing it...that's a must it seems.
I remember when I visited Tokyo with my daughter, there were two kimonos in the hotel room and we wrapped ourselves each with it. The next morning the tour-guide asked if we all wore our kimonos and everyone said yes. lol! Then he asked if we put the left flap of the kimono over the right side or the right flap over the left. I thought I wrapped the right flap over the left; actually not that sure because it didn't matter to me. Then the tour-guide said we must always wrap the left over the right because the right over left is how corpses are wrapped before cremation. Goodness gracious...so eerie, so I was probably sleeping like a corpse. lol!

Whoa, look at my above number...4 4 4 in Cantonese sounds like sei sei sei meaning die die die; lol! just when I'm talking about being wrapped like a corpse with a right over left kimono. lol!

I have never owned or wore a national costume. In fact I just googled the national costume of my area for the first time. It looked very dutch to me and I don't even live in Holland.

@3:24
Had to laugh at the 'homeschooled''world history' katy mention.
HAHAHA! 'Clearly you've never been to Singapore'!

Anonymous said...

@5:34 No, I don't know about Singapore. I'm not sure, but I think Katy was homeschooled because her religious parents wanted so.

@5.34am

didn't understand your post (I posted at 3.24), at first, especially as I have been to Singapore several times...then noticed 2 of us posted at the same time.

I'm not surprised at this growing number of views ... It's entirely possible that I alone am responsible for at least half.... rose petal

Anonymous said...

I just watched the Katy performance; the stage setting is very elaborate. Why so much anti-sentiments...a great performance but the singing part is what I always zero in on; a little overshadowed by the loud background music; perhaps tone down a few times for her solo voice to come through. Katy looks pretty in oriental fashion and adornments. Why is the geisha element so overly stressed, didn't quite hit me as a geisha; lol! more like a Chinese in high-slit modern cheongsam. A geisha would never be able to stretch her legs the way Katy did because she couldn't do that if she were wearing a geisha kimono. Whoa, so Katy Perry stole the thunder at the AMA. The ending, disappearance was interesting. Congratulations Katy Perry!

Oh Man! @rose petal
That means there's only 2 of us watching it.

Anonymous said...

The MTN vid is fantastic I watched it a lot. I will watch it more. I watched very, very little of the AMA because just did not want to I haven't reasons. It's taped on the kitchen tv.
I just saw Katy listen about a minute. Plain silly I don't believe anything racist crossed her mine.
I am sure that what Adam meant people jump on everything. Nothing better to do I guess. Life is to short.
I figured Glee people would be in love with Adam to know him is to love him.
He just an honest down to earth hugely talented fellow.
The way he did that puppet was so brilliant.
That was I have my reasons above correction.

So when it hits 3m views what happens next? Forgive me, i'm a little lost here, how does the number of views affects adam's brand positively? Because i am really confused

Anonymous said...

Awesome just think if he really catches on....well off I go to work on 3 million ...rose petal

@8:10 AM I like easy questions. The numbers are important because they are an excuse for us to hype the video some more. and more, and more. It's all good.

Anonymous said...

8:10, if it is the Official Glee video it can show them people are interested in Adam. As for fans setting arbitrary goals to reach certain numbers, I don't see as much value in that. Fans repeated viewings don't mean anywhere near as much as a video going viral.

Anonymous said...

@anon 8:33 thanks for the answer
@anon9:29(dunno if u are same person) i totally agree with your point.

Anonymous said...

I thought so--Adam puppet had Adam's signature all over it: his puzzlement over his green skin--Why???; challenging, deprecating Adam's vocal superiority; showing off mediocre vocals to suspend belief; mouth tightening to stifle, then busting out with the grievances; exiting Diva-esque mode with head flip and heart clutch; right hand clutch to show to full advantage the drama of it all. Puppet Adam may just be a figment, but has all the uber personality of a real chip off(the old block). All these not so subtle touches demonstrate Adam's flair for the comic absurd, which is why we love him even more.

Anonymous said...

I have watched many viral videos repeatedly.

Anonymous said...

Adam was brilliant in his puppet performance! He is so in tune with himself and never hesitates to make fun of who he is. It is his humor that endears himself to so many people. He was dead on in Adamizing his puppet! Bravo Adam!

@8.10am
The higher the numbers, the better. It shows the producers of Glee that Adam is popular and good for the programme, it shows other industry people that Adam has a following like radio execs etc, it shows press people that Adam gets hits and is worth reporting on.
And I think when it comes down to vevo (not sure about youtube) numbers, the more views the more money Adam gets paid...

Anonymous said...

They should put up Adam's puppet for auction(and even the others from the Glee cast) and donate the money to charity. It would be interesting to see how much someone would pay for it.

Watching MTN, I did only a few times but will keep on.

JAK here......I'm beginning to feel guilty about the dozen or more puppets I have closed up in a chest in the playroom closet....they have been there without air or sunlight for about 15 years now....waiting for my potential great grandchildren. Maybe I'll bring them out at Christmas for a special treat....my 2 year old grandniece will be visiting.

I 'm sure they will love her and she'll give them all a much needed cuddle! I should have thought of it before...my dolls all make an appearance every Christmas! Anyone here remember china StoryBook Dolls? Probably not!....sigh
