I love that old interview and I remember it well. Sadly, a TP tour never happened. He had such high hopes and expectations for its success. But, now we're looking forward to album #3 and a new future.

Thank you so much. For some reason I've never seen that interview before! It is ALWAYS such a pleasure listening to him...and watching him up close & personal...
I love both of Adam's albums, and I will always cherish them. With his voice and range, all the masterful qualities and nuances of his singing keep all the songs fresh and totally above any current pop/rock voices...

Also nice to see the blast from not so distant past...Trespassing had not come out yet... He and Sauli were so happy....Next summer would bring Queenbert concerts...etc etc.

This was also nice change for all this Glee hype. Sorry, I don't care for Glee. I know and appreciate that it's huge for Adam and getting him a lot of new fans, but it's not my cup of tea... I just watch the vids on fan sites with Adam in them. And patiently wait for new music from Adam... While waiting why don't you all listen to FYE and TP like many of the 'Glee produced new fans' seem to doing... :)

Sadly, ugly remarks begat ugly responses.

Maybe we should employ our own self control with comments that are snide and not reply or respond at all. That is difficult! I know it is :), but we only have control over ourselves ... and ignoring is more powerful anyway, imho. :)

Should be fun to see Kathy Griffin at the Trevor event. I remember at another event when she tried to get him up on stage with her to sing WWFM. She went into the audience and talked to him. Sauli was there. She really loves Adam. Hope we get some good videos of his performance at this show.

I remember the event you are talking about. Sam presented Adam with a prestigious(sp) award from the LGBT Community; His friend and fellow entertainer; Sam gave a speech about Adam and presented him with the award; it is on Youtube.
Kathy Griffin started singing Mad World and trying to prod Adam to join her to no avail. So she went to him; it was so funny; finally, Adam so graciously stood up from his table, and joined her in singing Mad World; they sounded really good, and the audience went wild.

Adam looked absolutely breathtaking that evening (so what's new). It was so cute, and Kathy was just gushing all over the place; as was every other person in the room. I have watched it several times.

7:54, You're right! It was Mad World, not WWFM. Kathy G. wanted SO much for Adam to come up on stage with her and sing, but he wouldn't, so she went to him. I remember her saying that she wanted to sit on his lap, but he stood up, so she couldn't. Sam was so much fun, too. He praised Adam and then said, "And the bitch can saaaannng!" It was very funny. They are such good friends.

Thanks for getting my facts straight and sharing the memory.

I love how Adam will never say the highest note he can sing when we all know he is the best singer out there. Adam can singer VERY high and VERY low. He is so amazing! I love everything about Adam!! sigh!
